What happened?

This is my first CY drama overall!! I just keep seeing his name everywhere that I had to see one of his dramas. I’m a modern person so I choose this one. He is indeed a very good actor, I really like him, do you have recommendations, i’ll hop onto costumes just to watch another one of his dramas. Something lighter and less angst would be nice lol

I ended up fast forwarding her to be able to make it through the drama. Lol

I’m a modern drama person, I came to watch because the ML Cheng Yi’s name is ALWAYS trending no matter what social media platform. It’s either CY or XZ.
This is pretty much the only modern drama he’s in even though he has an extensive lists of dramas and movies.
I like this drama, it really is a melodrama and reminds me of the older Korean dramas. Lots of angst which is fitting for a melodrama.
I think CY is indeed a very good actor and lives up to his hype that I might just watch some of his costume ones. Can someone recommend me? Something maybe a little lighter and some humor would be nice?
As for FL, she is a hit or miss, I really like her in Love at Night but drop all her other dramas. She did an okay job here but I think the ML carried it out for her. His acting is so effortless and his adorable face that I was able to look past FL’s acting. (Sorry I think she’s pretty but acting not so great) I think if they had a stronger FL (at CY) level,this would have been an excellent drama. It has a good plot but editing made it a bit confusing. Overall I like it and it’s definitely a melodrama. My heart hurts for ML after awhile though but he acted out every scene so naturally and perfectly is why my emotions can only handle so much. lol
So had to fast forward some scenes.

She’s definitely a-hit or miss but I think she’s good here. Maybe the ML is just a really good actor and pulled it off for both of them as I think they have good chemistry.

He plays a totally different role in Arsenal Military Academy. He is so gorgeous in it! He is indeed a very good actor and can portray different characters very well. In Arsenal Military Academy, the character was written for him.

She does own up to her mistakes after and she DOES know why she loves HT! She was just confused and immature at first and had an unrealistic vision of love. But she does own up to it. In fact they both own up to their mistakes.

Do you have any recommendations for me? Lol
I’m still struggling to find one that gave me that satisfaction like this one. I really like The Oath of Love as well. It was the same, hard to sit through the beginning but it ended so well.

Yes check out Alliances if you are a fan on South Korean type of dramas. I used to to watch so many South Koreans ones as well.
Alliances ML is a big screen actor so he’s older but not in a lot of drama but a good actor, he’s not in the drama as much as the SML but oh boy that dude is a good actor as he convinced me he’s the biggest jerk on the planet lol
I’m only half way through as I needed to take a break i couldn’t stop watching, it’s one of those that is just exciting all the way, no fillers. But you will feel a bit sad for the FL but it gets so good. I seriously never heard of it and just stumble across it on YouTube. Let me know what you think. It’s honestly one of the best I’ve seen in a long time.

My favorite are Modern, I like romance but there needs to be a backstory as well. Not just romance, I need some kind of drama going on, like they had to work to get together.
I stumble across a more mature, romance is just a backsplash but a very well written with top notch acting called Alliances. Omg, I was hooked from episode 1. I also really like Dream Garden, it’s psychological but the romance good. They have very good chemistry!

I’m actually surprised he’s in a more recent drama. He’s one of the top actors and mostly hit big screen. I’m gonna watch this just because lol

Amidst a Snowstorm of love, if you are like me and need some kind twist or comedy going on, I would skip it. It’s literally the same pace all the way through and just about him chasing her with billiards backsplash. It’s so hyped that I thought it would get better in second half but nothing changes. lol
It’s more of a youth type of drama.

I’ve serious watched this so many times! I don’t generally rewatch a drama but I go back to this everytime I go on a streak of bad dramas where there’s no plot, very unrealistic romance trope then this gives me a reset lol
There seems to be so hype around certain dramas lately and I get to watching and i don’t get the hype lol
I’m still traumatized sitting through AASOL 🤣
I guess I just need that drama, plot twist, something other than just 100% romance. Lol

One of the FL best friend hooked up with her EX and got married to him, not the ML. ML only has eyes for FL and he only and ever love only her. He loves her for a very long time. Watch the special episode after, it’s so sweet!

And then she expects Hng Ting to die for her. She did own up to it afterwards, they both actually owned up to their flaws. I find this drama fits a more mature audience so why there’s mix reviews. It’s not an all peachy fluff all the way type. I find the ML to be a very good communicator as he gets straight to the point and he never lead on the other person that is so pine over him. He shoots her down a everytime and I love it!

The FL is actually the one with the immature vision of love, but she owned up to it after. It’s such a good drama. I’m so happy for them that it will be aired in Japan next month. I honestly have been watching dramas all my life and this is one of the few that I keep rewatching and never get bored of them. It gets better after each rewatch.

I had to rewatch as I was reading subtitles the first time around. He’s a man with very little words but his expressions tells a lot. If you seen him in AMA and then here, he’s an excellent actor. When he does speak, he communicates very well as he’s very direct and to the point.
Not to spoil anything but I side with him on his view of love. It isn’t everything and life can still go on.
