I second this. It's so annoying and time consuming to deal with them anyway. There are much better ways to spend your time. For example: Rewatch The Untamed or read the novel! Who's with me? ^^

OMG! Jiang Cheng the eternal third wheeler. I feel sorry for him. xD

I'm praying that this drama will see the light of day.

Not sure how long shooting usually takes but I don't expect it to air within the first half of 2021. Would be positively surprised though if it does. :)

Based on the synopsis of the movie it sounds like they make a movie adaption from the novel but being really "creative" in their interpretation of the original novel (I haven't read the novel yet but I'm about to start).
I will probably watch the movie but just like you I'm quite sure that all it shares with the real thing will just be the name so I made sure to have really low expectations.
I totally agree with your comment and what you wrote about Guardian and the actors Zhu Yi Long and Bai Yu. They brought Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan to life, for me it's unimaginable that someone else plays this characters no matter how good of an actor it might be.

Are you sure? I just see that the previously airing date of 2021 is deleted and now it's empty. Doesn't look like it will air anytime soon. I was looking forward to it.

I occasionally come here but to be honest I'm quite sick and tired of comments like "The Untamed is overrated" or those of trolls and such. If only I would get a penny per comment I would be rich by now. xD No matter what I'm still a Suibian (is that the official name of The Untamed fans?).

I didn't read the novel but the end of the drama is pretty much open for interpretation in my opinion.

I guess there are enough articles to make a big series out of it, right? :D

The main lead walks in the desert where a huge sandstorm/tornado is seen. I assumed he's looking for death to be reunited with the FL.

I remember seeing the cover before but for some unknown reason it did not make it into my list. Added it now. :)

This sums up why I have highest respect and admiration for subbers, be it a team or solo.
Without them I wouldn't be able to understand a word that is said in Asian dramas.
It's a shame they have to deal with people who demand them to work faster or worse. This people have no idea what the life of a subber is like. I admit I told a few of them to go and learn the language if they think they are faster in mastering Chinese or Korean than a subber translating the drama. xD
