I'm happy to see him getting main roles. Loved him in Pet at Deli Temple but sadly the drama went downhill in its second half and spoiled the overall watching experience.
Generally yes, I liked the novel more than the series, though there are some things that I liked more in the series.…
You obviously missed some (great) scenes then when they not only had physical contact but it was longer than one would say is necessary. Also it's SW for Shen Wei and Chu not Zuo... xD
I fully agree with the article and Guardian's crew did a wonderful job in tricking the censors. My disbelief is directed towards the strict taboos. It's understandable that you don't put alcohol or cigarettes in the spotlight (I certainly wouldn't) but banning them completely? Goes a little far and sounds like the strategy to take a sledgehammer to crack a nut. I'm not sure which C-Drama it was but in a behind the scenes video the crew was cautious that two children (not older than 6 if I should guess) didn't show "too much romance" as it was too sexual in their opinion. Sexual? Like a little girl and boy interacting with each other aka holding hands.... Oh dear. The taboos of China are quite unreasonable sometimes and make it too hard for the production crew who must feel like they're on an obstacle course with all those limitations.
Guys, some days ago I was actually searching to buy the series on DVD and on Amazon, they have it for like 60…
As far as I know there is no official release on DVD or Blu-Ray. I'm afraid most of them are (as SuibianX said) downloaded/copied versions that are poorly merged together. If you're looking for good DVDs aka high quality with good quality subs your safest bet is to make your own. This two for example practically scream Malaysia export and from experience I can tell you shouldn't expect good quality subs: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/Z64AAOSwyaNfQ3py/s-l1600.jpg https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/DxIAAOSw8lte8cUC/s-l1600.jpg
Is this just a condensed version of the docuseries? Or is there more content added?
There is more content. It makes sense to watch both as the focus on the docuseries is more on interviews and personal thoughts of the members while the movie is more about BTS as a whole.
Oh my gosh yes! After having post-drama depression for months after finishing The Untamed, I finally found this…
You just helped me with my decision to watch this drama. Haha, thank you! ^^ I was unsure for a while but if a fellow Untamed fan is recommending this, I'm in. :)
I read that this drama is from the same production team as Eternal Love. Now unfortunately I struggled with the draggy story and side arcs in Eternal Love, finding it often boring and too slow paced for my liking. So before I watch this I'd like to know what I sign up for. :) Does this drama have the same issue? How about nasty (evil) villains that try to make the leads break up? And does this have a happy ending? (answer with marked as spoiler please) ^^
This article is great and sums up perfectly what speaks for or against watching airing dramas.
I rarely watch something currently airing because the fear of spoilers is real and I hate being told character X dies or the story goes downhill. I want to wait and see for myself. Also I prefer watching at my own pace, meaning I want to take a break if needed or binge watch 5 episodes in a row which is hard to do when you have to wait for the new episodes to air. Another reason: subtitles For some dramas it takes time or it's completely unsure if and when they get subtitles. So sometimes I wait even longer just to prevent getting sad when a drama is dropped and not subbed completely.

Know him from Hawaii Five 0 and Lost. ^^
