Am I the only one not excited about watching this drama? I’m at episode 4 and so far I don’t feel the excitement…
Personally I think Eternal Love is overrated. I only found it okay. There were too many flaws that spoiled the drama so no, you're not the only one. :) I only kept watching for the side pairing of Dong Hua and Feng Jiu. The main pairing lacked chemistry in my eyes and the female lead was annoying me a lot during the first and third arc.
Honestly i think this is much better than the two you watched
I know you look for someone who liked Eternal Love but I watched it right after The Untamed (which is a masterpiece) and was really disappointed. Eternal Love is draggy, lots of side characters get attention which could be described as filler as they are not necessary for the story itself. I skipped a lot and only kept watching for the side pairing because the female lead was so unlikeable. The ending might not be rushed but I don't felt the chemistry and love between them. It was pretty much one-sided for many episodes so I couldn't really understand the female lead's behavior. A drama that gave me the same vibes as The Untamed was Guardian (2018). ^^
The first episodes are not that good you have to pass them and after that is very very good it has some filling…
Totally opposite opinion. xD The first episodes were the best for me, the second arc was okay but then it just got ridiculous and annoying. I kept watching for the side pairing of Dong Hua and Feng Jiu. Great that you enjoy the drama. :) Unfortunately it was a disappointment for me.
This drama looks so intriguing to me but at the same time I don't know if I should go for it. I usually avoid Melodrama. Does anyone have any thoughts about this drama and would like to share with me? Good or bad doesn't matter. :)
Haha this article is gold. Thank you! And yes I totally agree. This gif about (Me feeling complete lost when the leads suddenly say they love each other) is sooo me. xD Thankfully I haven't suffered from SLS yet but I dislike Love Triangles because of the complete mess it turns a story into (most of the time, not all love triangles are bad). I mean okay things like this could happen but this is overused and became to cliché by now. Same with amnesia to add more drama or the sudden breakup without any logical reason because "let's not talk about this but just breakup straight away". Another trope that I dislike is Rich male and poor female. I avoid it when I can because I just don't see why it's preferably the female who is poor and helpless so that the male can shine as the hero and savior.
There are funny scenes, but it's not in the main focus. The story itself is rather full of suspense and drama. Definitely worth watching though because of the great cast, characters (and their development) and the storyline! :)
I would recommend watching it in the release or chronological order. Since they are loosely connected I do recommend…
Will do that, thank you. Oh and what came to my mind. Are there corpses or mummies or anything like that in the drama since there's the tag Zombies? I wouldn't mind, I just like to know beforehand and what I should expect. I don't mind spoilers, the more info the better as I'm a scaredy-cat when it comes to Zombies and such. :)
Totally agree with that. Feng Jiu was so refreshing compared to the ice-cold behavior of Bai Qian.
