In case you're still searching for subs. It's now completely English subbed on WeTV App. If you have the video files I also have the subtitle srt files. ^.^
hmmm.. It's hard to explain it. hehe. But when I started, I just wanted to give a review on dramas that I'm currently…
That's my main issue. My list of completed dramas is only half the size of yours. xD But maybe an idea will find me some day. :) Thank you for taking the time to reply. I'm always curious to read from other writers. ^^
I love to write and I would love to submit an article but finding a topic is hard. My mind is empty. May I ask how you get inspired/get the idea? I know it works differently for everyone. I'm usually struck from behind with ideas all of a sudden but sadly none for articles. xD
I'm Cancer and don't know the two dramas but will give them a chance because of your article. Thanks for this really wonderful idea of basing recommendation on zodiacs. Do you maybe have more recommendations for the zodiacs Cancer and Gemini? ^^
I feel your pain while watching medical mistakes on screen. I'm not a medical professional but worked for an aid agency and had many first aid courses by myself. Thanks for this interesting and informative article. I enjoyed the read. Maybe you'd like to add the SOS number 112? It's like 911 but for Europe.
Not accusing anyone of anything here but to me this sounds more like envy from someone who didn't receive an award for a similar (not same though) story and is now trying to spoil it for those who did. Really ridiculous and low.
I feel the same way!! I want to buy the album but I can t find it anywhere T_T
I don't know, all I found where Korean sites where you could download the OST, but no purchase option for a CD. I saw it online for streaming at Spotify as well. Maybe the CD will come out soon.
I just realized that my previous message came out completely wrong. Not what I was trying to say. What I was implying…
I agree but don't share your concern. I fear even Europe have still a long way to go seeing that in Germany (just for example) gay marriage was legalized not that long ago. So yeah we don't have a censorship but I feel like there are still a lot who have prejudices or live in ancient times. I mean seriously, shouldn't we be more enlightened by now and see the LGBTQ+ community as what is is: equal. What annoys me is that many productions I've seen were cliché and over sexualized instead of showing a natural/real image. No censorship is okay, but the film makers should dial a bit back and not mistake uncensored LGBTQ+ content with porn... Funny is that I saw a well written gay side couple in a german production but don't see many productions were a gay relationship is the focus...
In Manga related glossar BL means simply "Boys Love". I don't know what people used it for, but I and others used…
There's also a difference in content. If you search for yaoi you'll get different images than searching for bara for example. Bara is the more "manly" type so the images show huge, muscled man with lots of hair on chest, while yaoi could be described as more feminine. So you can also use the terms to refer to the style of art/type of men and/or content. I don't see a problem using the term BL if there is a gay relationship present, but when it's applied to a work with zero gay interactions I agree, it's misleading and wrongly addressed. The Untamed is such a case where the term is misplaced.
Japan's industry does have certain target groups in mind when it comes to manga which is like a novel for western readers, in Japan almost everyone reads manga, it's not age related. There's shojo (for young girls), shonen (the counterpart for young boys) and even genres like josei (for mature women) among many other genres. The literal BL is Shonen ai, because shonen means boy and ai is love in Japanese. Yaoi is a sexually more explicit sub-genre of shonen ai and shouldn't be mistaken with it. BL is a too general term to refer to them though it's sometimes used in Japan as well. To understand all that in detail one would need to dive deeper into Japanese culture or read about it a lot. xD I know it from my years reading about Japanese culture and manga. Found this, it explains some terms (just in case anyone is curious now): https://reelrundown.com/animation/Anime-Genre-List
That's true. The drama The Untamed is not BL. The novel is but not the drama, because it's censored and changed into a friend-like or soulmates relationship. The rest is audience's interpretation. ;)
