Same for me but I keep reading some people don't get into the drama like we did. It took me only 4 episodes to love the drama and enjoy it thoroughly and I already knew I was gonna like it by episode 1. ^^

Not sure if it's considered Kpop since they are under a Chinese company, Yuehua Entertainment. ^^ But yes he is. Xiao Zhan is a member of the group X NINE.

It's never said in the drama, but he was sort of adopted by Wei Wuxian who cared for him in Burial Mound and later by Lan Zhan.

What you said in this form is an assumption and a statement NOT an opinion and was directed towards volunteers who run this site without earning money with it, that's why I objected. So before you judge "us" VIPs (who simply show respect for the hard work of those who keep this site running by giving a small amount each month/year) to be hostile you might want to think about your wording of speaking your mind, because there is a difference in showing doubt/expressing opinion and claiming something without having any proof...

This is todays problem with the internet. Just because we are anonymous online some people seem to think it's okay to go out and make assumptions and judging without knowing better or having any evidence for their so called "opinions" or worse they are disrespectful and use a language/wording they wouldn't use in public. How about some etiquette and respect in the internet as well?

Oh and once again: NO ONE (including YOU) is forced to have to verify their account with a phone number so why fuss? If you don't trust the admins no one is forcing you to use this site anymore. I surely wouldn't stay on a site I don't trust.

I haven't received any spam/advertisement nor any other message from MDL since verifying my account. So much to "we will get spammed"... xD

If I learned one thing then it's that mostly big companies like Amazon and Co are the real bad guys out there. I had an Android phone and couldn't even change my background photo without granting Google access to my location via GPS and yes that was forced and after they included the restricted rights for external apps (see the irony? xD). No accepting the rules, no setting your phone like you want it. That's what I call being scammed, you're paying a huge amount for a cell phone and can't even change the smallest setting without giving access to a huge and well known data-collecting company to your location, address book and more. If there's someone who's selling your data it's Google because that's how they make a living and you keep feeding them with every little search or service you use from them. ^^
Amazon keeps tracking every move on the site. Sure I can disable the tracking but every single time I visit the website it's active again... MDL never scammed me so far and when I had a problem they were super fast and professional in helping me and solving it. And I second what SweetBabyBrat said. You don't have to verify your account, no one is forced to do so, but please don't start rumors and do assumptions because it's not fair to the people who put their effort and heart into this site for us members. Thank you.

Sounds good if the data is well protected. But since Ji-N said MDL doesn't store the number it should be okay and safe from getting hacked. ^^

Is Nirvana in Fire worth a try even when I'm not interested in political genre and power struggle? Like how much of the drama is about this? I'm a bit worried I might not enjoy it because of this but people say it's so good. Which characters have the bromance by the way? ^^

I was only thinking taste (in dramas) is subjective. At least for me it is after seeing comments on other dramas of people disliking something that didn't bother me at all and vice versa. Not sure how others think about it. :)

Totally agree with you. Usually I don't bother replying to such comments but as you say if it's ridiculous to this level I can't keep still either. The comment bears no logic and looks like its only purpose is to gain attention. I looked through a few of Pinco's reviews for fun yesterday and read another "assumption" of her/him why people liked a drama. This person should definitely stop assuming anything as it's not a given talent to Pinco. xD Maybe it's a personal issue but I dislike people who are jumping to conclusions like this and judging people thinking they're super smart and always right. I've had my fair share of such ignorant persons and find it hard to deal with those as they are deaf to any advise/logic. シ

Exactly. It's funny how one comment can provoke so many others. I do understand that taste is something completely subjective and emotions are included but I'm going with the motto to live and let live which Pincolino doesn't seem to ever heard of.
I'm not asking anyone to love this drama as much as I do. I'm merely asking for some respect towards other opinions and not downgrading them. So for someone who claims to not want to waste any time over this drama, he/she is investing quite some time to keep this up. I do have dramas I dislike but I never felt the urge to waste my time and energy to bad mouth them. I'm just moving on. >.<

As I said it's okay to not like The Untamed and I totally respect anyone who doesn't (if they are respectful). I just wonder why you exasperate over it in the comments and saying at the same time you don't want to waste 10 hours of your life to watch more episodes but wasting your time in discussing with those who loved this drama... No offence but it looks like you love to nag. Why don't you move on and let others enjoy a drama you hate? What exactly is your problem that you can't accept not everyone has the same taste as you? No seriously, I'm past puberty, thanks for asking. I like my dramas well written, with a good cast, developing characters and well balanced if it's a mix of genre. I surely didn't complete or give this a 10 because I was just staring at the beauties for 50 episodes.
It's okay if you don't like it, no one have to. Just like any other drama The Untamed won't be "THE Drama" that will be loved by everyone. Tastes differ, but assuming that people who enjoyed this are only drooling over beautiful actors or BL subtext is ridiculous and could be considered rude...
I've seen many different shows/movies from all kind of countries and when you mention bad acting I have seen it, but not in The Untamed. So I wonder how many episodes (if any?) you have even watched to assume this?
The production isn't cheesy either, reading this really makes me wonder why you judge a book by it's cover without even opening it...
Also voice acting, that's something you should get used to when watching C-Dramas or maybe stay away from C-Dramas if you can't get used to it as it's pretty common. Just saying.

I think embracing the situation of being stuck makes it go away faster than fighting it. Before completing Guardian I already started to rewatch it with a friend and watched it twice in a row plus all the BTS stuff. It took some time but I got over it and could move on openly minded to other dramas. With The Untamed I'm rewatching favorite scenes, the BTS videos and listening to the OST, tying to do it similar as I did with Guardian and letting it be a companion for some time. Sooner or later my mind will focus on other dramas and probably find more favorites.
I think you'll like Duel. It has a thrilling story and good cast. ^^

I agree with the others who say that you might need a break. I recently finished The Untamed and was swept away by it. First impulse while watching was to find a similar historical C-Drama and after finishing to go back immediately for a rewatch. As for now, I did neither. I rewatched two episodes but only some scenes after that. I watch more behind the scenes videos. Taking a break isn't bad and helps you clear your mind from the good and bad stuff.
