This series just lacked good script and director... i like all characters costumes etc just budget even if released in 2021 or 2022 would seem low. Story does drag not sure whats gonna happened later seems like alot is going on already and misunderstanding is being resolved At ep 19. R they gonna go back to heaven realm? Will mo xiao turn out evil since that what chongguang is aiming for? Female lead probably gonna have kill him then he probably get reborn n meet type ending?

Most of same cast are usually here. I say watch it even tho itll spoil the story for u...

Blood of youth is the sequel so most characters from this series just cameo but do play important roles in blood of youth.

This takes place before n during dashing you. So ill say watch that one first. Then blood of youth. Dashing youth changed some story so ending doesnt match with blood of youth. Ill still watch both dramas since story action casting cgi is very good. Not much on romance but both r more for friendship adventure etc wuxia style.

Probably ran into licensing fee, scandal, tax scandal, or budget ran out...


Thomas other drama return of condor heroes is same thingy. I believe it shot in 2018 or something n they just stopped no news or anything. At this time theres gonna probably be another condornheroes remake since prequel series was released last year but still waiting for short series of the greats to be release.

But yea i I hate it. Like if they finished shooting editing etc n cant get license or something cant they just sell rights over seas ?

Look at destiny and saving. Was also made in 2021to 2022 finally got released but outdated cgi people arent really liking it. Casting is good etc but story doesnt do so well. Still watchable.

I remembered in the donghua of this series doesnt really go by fast unless they speed run it. Its more comedy cultivating making pills etc .

I believe if the previous ep was true they gonna get back together. He probably toke money as loan to open gym or shop and the old man is testing out both their loyalties after he toke the money n she left.

Same here. Honestly if they had budget issues they should've just made it into wuxia series instead. Still cg not bad but not good. I like the main group rn . Currently at ep 10 and it feel like their chor lau heungs group cast fits it too.

Probably not. The donghua seems ling bc its like 15 min episodes. I believe around 120ish ep. At most they can end to the sea of chaotic area for live action. That is if there's no fillers etc n just copy the donghua ny each episodes and scenes etc.

I was hoping for this one to be good but again no cgi 18 dragon palm 9 etc....the 2017 one was good already making it look old school martial arts.

But this is wuxia drama..crazy fake martial arts people flying shooting chi etc... I really wished they used effects like in blood of youth and dashing youth for the martial arts.

I feel like thats one of reasons this one didnt do well.if we want to watch series with no cgi would watch 80s or 90s one. New generation want to c good fight scenes flashy cgi etc especially when more international audiences r getting hooked back into chinese dramas.

I feel bad for cast. Now we probably gonna get another remake before this one.

Out of thee dramas i was keeping up with Best Thing First Frost and Filter. I dropped filter even tho i love both leads story just seem to comedic n unreleasticically written.

Both frost n best thing characters seems more natural and chemistry is real good.
