I'm not sure I like how the production crew simply recycled the OST ... at least, modify it a bit ...

Thanks for the links, dear. The first 3 minutes is okay so far ... somehow, a pleasant reminiscent of the 1986 TVB version LOL ... but TVB is so hitting on my nerves as of late ... so major rolleyes here toward them ...

As for the VPN thing, basically, I'm using a proxy to get onto a website or browsing around. To put it simply, this helps in the situation that I don't "want" the website to localize me ... I would use it when I see certain pieces of information are geographically restricted for example just because ... but ...

... on Tencent, it was mentioned that it was on copyright grounds ??!!, .. so yup, that is why I believe that might not be the actual issue ...
ummm guys, anyone has a still valid video link to share?

As of March 1st, I think the uploader on youtube got multiple copyright strike by TVB (it's not even a TVB production like WTAF!!) ヾ(`ヘ´)ノ゙

and on Tencent, it is also restricted (to both VIP and Non-VIP members ...) I'll try through VPN but I don't think that is the issue here ...

Title I Am a Hero Spoiler
I saw this movie a while ago. Maybe because I completed the manga before seeing this, some element of it wasn't that much of a surprise either ... probably because I was half-expecting it. I did enjoy the sequence with the athletic zombie though. Because It had derivate quite much from the manga, It had somehow sustained my interest ...

Nonetheless, Id like to comment about the execution. As an adaptation, it might have been good. From memory, I thought it had started fine. But the latter part was a major gorefest. I found it rather tasteless to have a battle royal just because It might look cool to make it happen on screen. Needless to say, I was bored out of my wits for the second part.

Title Frankenstein's Love Spoiler
Hi, i'm currently watching the 4th episode, and yes, i do feel the same. The female character is a bit odd from…
hey there!

As I'm typing this reply, I've started Sego-don up to episode 29. You might be happy to know that she is also staring in it. Her character is ... not the "innocent type" per see ... and yet I still can't connect with her LOL. hahahaha

I browsed through your watchlist and seeing that you haven't seen it yet so I won't spoil you any further ... her character in segodon had tattoos and I thought that was the redeemable positive thing that I can think of. Once again, the script is at fault? I'm not too sure about that.

On a random side note, I thought the difference in height that she shared with the male lead is rather adorable to watch. But characterwise, she is not my favorite, ...

While the actress acting skills are commendably better than many other actresses that I can think of, I have yet to see one role that I can fully appreciate. At the moment I'm not too interested into Mondai no Aru Restaurant ( plotwise it seems okay though ) but I might give Woman a chance ... I will keep you in the loop if I end up watching it in the future.

may i know the reasons why you dropped THE "ashes of love"?....no offence!!....im just curious coz it ended up…
haha, well the change of leading hands might have not helped much, that much I agree with you. But I wouldn't be so quick on putting the blame on management alone or the lack thereof of funding.

While it did reflect through all many of their productions ( fake props, recycled costumes, absurdly written script and hairpulling bad acting skills from the cast, ... ), once a while, one drama would pop out from the mediocre lot and make up for the rest and that, after the acquisition.

On the top of my head, War and Beauty 2004 ( how alike were the music score and the narrative style of Story of Yangxi Palace 2018 ... ) and Rosy Business 2009 made me have hope for TVB until I had no more for it. But surely the percentage of terrible production/sequel/ nonsense is overwhelmingly alarming from such a big group. ( pfff I'm showing my biases here with Sheren's works ... (^_<) )

While management is at fault ( a specific name actually popped up in my head ), its people and many other reasons aren't exempt from the offense.

On a happier note, if it weren't because of TVB current state, I wouldn't have made the switch toward other countries productions (namely South Korea, Japan, China, in that specific order) I would have missed on so many gems and also on many life-changing events in my life. So as weird as it might sound, haha I should thank current TVB. I will look forward to better production from them despite the unlikeliness. Because I have grown up watching its series as a kid, TVB holds a special place for me. And I can't bear to cheer to see it sinking so miserably against competition, even in the situation that they brought it to themselves ...

Title Train to Busan Spoiler
I saw this movie a long while ago already. I quite liked it overall and I wouldn't mind a rewatch but I definitively remember not fully liking the ending. Not because of the death of the male lead though. Truth is I liked that; when a character has to die, the script has to let it die. It was meant to be and I appreciate that in storytelling. The percentage number of "happy ending" in movie/drama for the sake of a happy ending is appallingly absurd.

It was the scene when the pregnant wife and the little girl ( sorry, been over two years already if not more, I can't remember the character's name ... ) simply walked inside the tunnel and nobody shoots at them. It is fortunate yes, of course, but ... nah ... just a bit of off given the circumstances ... a naive alternative would be to let the little kid sings a song while crying/recalling her dad ( as random as it might sound ) so that the soldiers would believe that no zombies in their right mind ( hahaha! ) would know how to sing thus saving their life ...

but yeah it was still worth watching! and seeing that there is a sequel, it will be on my plan to watch list as well.
