It seriously took until episode 30 for them to be mutually romantic and it was ruined for the stupidest reason…
Trust me, if they kept it Ge Ge the entire time and kept it light, I would have been okay. But you can’t throw in kisses like that and have her acting all thirsty with Xiao Bai and then say all Que Yiu wanted was family. Lol. They totally wanted each other and I TOTALLY agree with you that the build up was sweet and I was super shipping at ep. 30. BUT the ridiculousness of her dumping him and not giving him the chance to explain. FL did not reciprocate the amount of love ML had for her. She didn’t trust him or stick it out through thick or thin. She totally just tried to score the guy that would love HER the most and above every else without her having to reciprocate the same level of devotion.

I feel like Chun Hua had her foot through both doors....Both sides of the line...what is that saying? I feel like both guys loved her much more than she loved either of them and she simply wanted the one that would love her the most and put her above all.
I really loved the ML character! Bad but good and so loyal and completely in love and self-sacrificing.

There is a discussion thread above that contains link to recaps that Contain a good amount of detail. I couldn’t get myself to drop it completely so I just read them. Just thought I would share :)
It seriously took until episode 30 for them to be mutually romantic and it was ruined for the stupidest reason by episode 32. I thought FL had some character development and growth...ugh. Not.
What's the backstory behind the tribe? :) Can u please spoil it to me
There a tunnel in the mountains that leads to the land where the tribe lives. It happens to be on a magnetic field where there is a lot of fog so people have not come upon this tribe. The spiritual leader once went to visit the outside world and fell in love with the old man who knows there is a stash of the gem that she gave him as a present. In the past, she was heartbroken after overhearing him talk to a friend about finding the location and she quietly went back to the tribe. The tribe does have a cavern where there are precious sapphire gems and they don’t want people to start mining there. When they are ultimately discovered at the end, the government gives them protection as a protected natural reserve (something like that).
I stopped for a while at episode 16...I had a feeling I was going to stop enjoying it as much. I got to episode 19 tonight and OMGeee, it’s become such a drag. Forward button to the end.
More modern day romances for this man!! Please someone. Take his scowl from GGS and make him into a cliche domineering CEO. I don’t care. Just more of him. Please and thank you, cosmos.
It actually has good rewatch value. I enjoyed it probably more than the first time around when it first aired because I knew what parts to skip and I just sat back and enjoyed the romance, which was very sweet. I’m totally a fan of Li Xian’s scowl and smirk... and then the random break to such an adorable smile! Lol
Waaa. How did I miss this drama? It totally bypassed by radar. Was there no promotions? The ratings and comments suggest it’s decent. I can’t wait to start tomorrow!! Yay!
I found it simple and endearing. I read some of the comments and thought it would be horrible but it real wasn’t bad. The ending kind of left me wanting more and it’s of course completely random what happens, but the rest of it was watchable with such short episodes.
Lol. I know I’m commenting a lot, but can someone explain something about their relationship at episode 37...
Idk if I started forwarding too much but did I miss something? Is FL upset that he performed with Song Ran? Wasn’t he just doing his job? Why is she so pissed?
