The cast in interviews always say they prefer to see this series as Man's Love or a gay series, they don't want…
I disagree. We only have these genres because heterosexuality is treated as the norm and everything else gets leftovers. Until media is fully inclusive, there will continue to be a need for BL, etc.

People really need to learn the different between "I don't like the characters this actor has played", "this actor is typecast" and "this actor is bad at their job".

Watched the first episode and I'm going to wait for it to end so I can binge it.

I hope this series doesn't shy away from or try to blunt the effects of capitalism and the far West's involvement in a lot of the shit that went down in the SEA in that time. Calling this a BL feels reductive imo. There are no boys here.

You are right 😂😂
"No man wore his hair that girly in a 60's rock band." Wrong. Without thinking too hard, Led Zeppelin? And that's a popular band. Sure I can find ten more. Rock was an alternate culture before it became mainstream so if short hair was the norm, you'd most likely find a rocker with long hair. Also referring to Tanwa's hair as "girly" tells me all I need to know.

Title Head over Heels Spoiler
"I might not like the outcomes but all the characters have stayed on beat." I don't agree with that. Pyo…
Ji-ho is a sweetheart but he's not the brightest banana in the bunch if we're being honest. He knows Yeomhwa is scary but not that she's evil or her role. He only knows what Seonga has told him which is barely anything. When you think about it, she only tells him stuff after it has happened or when she doesn't have a choice.

My issue is how he knew she'd be at the haunted house. That scene felt disconnected. It'd have made more sense of Yeomhwa went to him.

LMAO. Came back to read comments and y'all are so pissed. They set up the light and fluffy so well, had folks looking forward to kisses and whatnot. Next thing, bam wham! Seen comments about the writing of ep 10 being bad and lol. People think so little of drama writers. I can bet money they're relishing the reactions because that is what they set out to do. Nothing pleases a TV writer more than to have their plot twists get viewers' panties in a bunch. Don't get me wrong. I want to fight the writers but I also can't help but see what they did. I might not like the outcomes but all the characters have stayed on beat. What some of the comments are proposing the characters should have done instead would have been inconsistent with their behaviour and motivations so far.

You know a drama is good when people are getting pissed off but it's not enough to drop the drama because they're so invested. That's some good writing there.

What a lot of people seem to be missing is that Seonga is powerful as fuck. She's been practicing from childhood, has seen/done some evil shit. Reason she's on the straight and narrow is the General's guidance. Power for power, Yeomhwa has nothing on her. If she had even the tiniest of Yeomhwa's evilness, Yeomhwa would have been dead and gone by now.

My pookie Jiho went through it this episode. To have your two closest friends in danger. Of course it's easy to misstep.

A sad episode all around.

Temperature of Love was the complete opposite for me, lol. I love Kim Jae Wook but his character made me drop…
omg I can't even imagine lol. It's things like this that keep me from getting into debates on this site because people can have a 100% different reaction to yours and that's okay.

Didn't they say Bong Su killed 99 people? That’s what I gathered from the first six episodes—so why is everyone…
Yeom-hwa fed him some of those souls. At least the ones that he devoured after becoming a ghost. It's her I don't understand why everyone is acting so normal around.

The first and last time I had 2ML syndrome was for Kim Jae Wook's character in Temperature of love. Proud to say I have fallen completely for another 2ML, my pookie Ji-ho. I don't see him as a romantic partner for the FL. I just want him to have every good thing life has to offer and to always be a ray of sunshine in drama world. Kudos to the actor playing him as well. He captures the brightness so well.

I have some criticism regarding today's episode. This isn't the first time we have seen Chi Cheng be forceful…
But that's the thing. He IS problematic. Very problematic as a matter of fact. He's also caring towards the ones close to him. A character can be more than one thing at once.
