Guess I'll have to lower my expectations. Was expecting something special but it's just a run of the mill romcom with a big budget. Most of the support characters are comedy faves so I'm looking forward to them in later episodes. More Steve Noh as well. They're certainly getting value for money with all the close-ups of Byeon Woo-seok's face. If this was a sageuk he'd be plotting with Ji-mu on how to kill the king and seize the throne.
All the take about the FL's acting and she's really just acting? The negative reviews seems forced like "we done said this person is a bad actor so she has to be bad in everything she does regardless of her actual performance."
Been trying to get through this drama since it came out and I'm still at ep 4. I love Seo In-guk but this might not be the one for me. I also struggled with more highly rated dramas like Lovely Runner so maybe I don't like fantasy romcoms as much as I thought I did.
Just started ep 10 and I'm so mad at the bystanders in the restaurant. A woman getting assaulted right in front of you and not one person thought to intervene. At least that's true to life.
Still having fun watching this. Maybe because the story is simple and the characters are likeable. There is no undue dragging of subplots. I can't get with the second couple though. It's just off for me.
I cannot stand Dean. Even when I agree with him. They tried to humanise him last episode but it didn't catch with me. He's way too reactive. Take a breath and count.
The director and cinematographer/editor of this series did this show dirty. Throw in the writer too. I'm pissed because this has so much potential. At least the kisses are well-done.
