please don't judge me ik it's just acting. its work. but i couldn't stop thinking about Ji Hyun's husband while…
Kinda hard not to judge when it's just a woman doing her job. Plus why is her husband the one getting sympathy? Kiss/sex scenes are hella hard for the actors themselves. And you have to act out all that intimacy with the whole crew looking on and a director ready to yell cut and have you do it all over again. All my sympathies are with the actors tbh.
This was such a good watch. But I cannot get over J-C-K-dramas almost always making a way out for truly despicable parents. We get that parents are human but you can't depict a parent as terrible and show us all the harm they have caused to their child and suddenly at the end there's a 360 in their attitude or something.
And I don't get why the students got to be upset and vent at her when they were all mostly horrible and disrespectful to her.
I had very strong opinions about this drama when it was airing. Found it cringey and basic and I dropped it. But every few months since then I come back to watch a few episodes because they're just so cute and fluffy and the chemistry is great. It's a good drama in the genre and sticks to the simple tropes and clichés which can be comforting in a sea of writers trying to twist romcoms into thrillers and whatnot.
So far (after ep 1): the biggest progress in their relationship is that Sorn finally started respecting Jun’s…
I think Jun not wanting their relationship out there has more to do with their positions at work and less about him being gay. It wasn't explicitly stated in the main series but he doesn't seem to be hiding that he's gay.
I had so many thoughts about things that could have been a lot better this episode but that second "Turn around" wiped my mind clean. That was just so hot for no damn reason.
it's getting harder and harder to decide who to remove from my block list when I need to add someone new. Definitely…
I just saw the "You have reached your maximum quota limit of blocked lists" and almost burst into tears. How do you view your block list? Might need to start rotating it.
I like dramas like this way too much. Bring on the cliched characters. Bring on the tropes. No matter how many variations I watch, my enjoyment is not affected.
I really want to like this but what is this voice of the FL? Is it dubbed? I hope it grows on me because right now it keeps kicking me out of the drama.
My first every c-drama I'll be rating a 9.5. It'd have been a 10 but I found a few of the situations repetitive even if delivered well. That twist at the end was *chef's kiss*. Grateful the emperor didn't turn out to be a complete waste man. Ming Lan, the woman you are. This was entertaining. I doubt I'll find anything this good again.
And I don't get why the students got to be upset and vent at her when they were all mostly horrible and disrespectful to her.
Canada isn't trying to big brother or "save" the rest of the world the way these other guys are.
