Fave scene was when he put that asshole in his place. ML is immature in certain ways but he would totally be a badass CEO. Not someone anybody can trample on. That's the only silver lining in his situation.

The first kiss thing? The question isn't whether it's realistic. It's whether it's believable. And there's so much ridiculousness and clichés in the plot that it fits right in. Given the context of how he has lived so far and the hawk eyes the grandma has on him etc, it's believable. You're looking for realistic in the wrong drama.

Maybe your answer lies in the fact that they're different genres? Just something to consider.

I'm surprised everyone doesn't know this by now. When I see comments insulting the writers I laugh because they've got you right where they want you. I treat these dramas as a way to let off steam. Makjang are great stress relievers.

And rolling down the sleeves of her stepdaughter and asking her to cover herself like that's supposed to mean something? When you could have just you know, NOT LET A SEXUAL ASSAULTER INTO YOUR FUCKING HOME. I'm so mad rn because this bs plays out in homes all over the world where young girls are expected to take responsibility for the behaviour of fucktards. And if they get abused? They still get blamed. (If there is some grand forgiveness redemption arc for the mum at the end of the drama I'm going to rate it a 2.)

Don't you think you're projecting a little? There are tons of male actors in their 40s/50s who look their age and are getting jobs steady. Waste away how? He's been in some of the biggest dramas and films and variety show in his years at the agency. You might want to have seen in him more romance but that does not mean the agency stopped him (we're talking about The Jo Insung here) from taking them? Come on.

I read the comments before watching ep 13 and thought the FL had done something terrible of epic proportions and all she did was say "I'm not ready to be in a relationship." Isn't that the adult thing to do? I like that she was decisive and given her very recent experience in a relationship it makes sense that she wants to avoid being in the same position again.

As to the kiss, she had just found out that he has a crush on her, and was clearly very drunk with lowered inhibitions. Shit happens.

That said, I look forward to them having a proper conversation. I don't even think they should date right away. Xi Fan was in a relationship two seconds ago and still has baggage. There's so much they still need to learn about each other. Last thing they both need is to jump into a long-distance relationship.

I know it's considered normal behaviour in these kinds of dramas but I can't understand an adult being unable to communicate simple things. Agreed. A kid called him dad and it's easy to assume it's his son. But what happened to asking directly "How come you didn't tell me you have a son?" Instead of being passive-aggressive and talking trash about him. The friend isn't much better tbh. She's brash in all the wrong ways and childish to boot. You overhear your supposed friend say he's moving back to his hometown. No concern as to why, just straight up bitchiness and acting personally affronted. Yet she treats him like he's gum under the sole of her shoe.

The character development in all the romance leads is crazy good and consistent. This is how you write a romance drama. We're seeing not just their relationships grow but seeing them change as well. The one with the least character development though is Sang Yan because that man came factory fitted with all the add-ons. How do you make perfect better. I'm loving the bolder Yifan. She has decided to love this man and boy is she about to drown him in it.

Hao An and Si Qiao. Both hiding their pain behind forced cheer. I'm looking forward to their dating era.

Fou4mod was a lousy friend in this ep. Baabin had been so excited and looking forward to going to the concert with him and he throws that away the day off to do his nails with a dude who ghosted for a month. Young love or not that's just low af.

He is the personal secretary to the chairman of the massive conglomerate. He needs steel for balls to hold that position. I cannot be convinced that someone like that could not hold himself back from kissing his ex in the open in the compound she lives in with her husband and in-laws. I understand being overcome with emotions because he thought he was going to die. But kissing her could have also spelt death for him. It was illogical behaviour and I can't get behind it.

Oh boy. I expected to see death by strangulation. What a disappointment.

I kept yelling stupido at my screen during the kiss after he was beaten up. Dude you just negotiated for your life. Went on your fucking knees to the man who would off you without a second thought.
