Finished all currently available 7 ep and I personally found it very good!! There wasn't any boring episodes for…
I'd wondered about this but I don't understand Japanese so it didn't impede my enjoyment of the show. It's actually impressive how much lines a lot of the actors had in Japanese. Given the sensitivity of the drama, it'd have been impossible to use Japanese actors for some of these roles.
Sword girl needs to fall on her sword for real. All she does is screech and get in the way. If she loved Gu-won so much, why didn't she follow him in? Nonsense.
When are we going to see Charlie's POV because their relationship does not feel real? It's easy to trace Babe's growing attraction and see him fall in love, but Charlie gives nothing. He has his agenda, and being clingy and caring for Babe is part of that. Has that changed? Did he fall in love at some point? Nothing is coming through.
Knowing that your friend is in love with you and not saying anything to make the situation comfortable for you…
I disagree. Not saying anything isn't manipulation. Taking advantage of their feelings for your own advantage, that's manipulation. Saying something when the person with feelings hasn't confessed will make the situation uncomfortable, awkward and embarrassing for them. And you'd be forcing them to acknowledge their feelings openly before they're ready. It's borderline cruel actually.
I wonder why two men are obsessed with her... She does nothing, Jisoo should have been alive instead of her.
Hyun-soo is protecting her same as he protects Seo Yi Kyung and her kid (and probably everyone from Green Home if he was around them). That's who he is.
Chan-young is a bleeding heart. He throws himself into protecting anyone who is in danger. He disobeyed his superior officer to help the Green Home survivors. He practically put his hand on a mine for the old lady and didn't let go even when he knew she was turning. Does he like Eun Yoo? Yes. But he would not be all up in her space if she wasn't constantly putting herself and others in danger (which is what I honestly dislike about that character.)
I don't read either man's actions as obsessions but opinions differ and that's okay.
Why is everyone so obsessed with Song Kang's buttocks? Because I barely noticed it in the midst of everything else going on. I'm a little miffed because we barely saw three of the characters they had doing the publicity campaigns but the other characters more than made up for it. I wasn't expecting a tidy show so I'm not at all disappointed. It is an apocalypse after all.
Horror/sci-fi is not a genre that interests me normally but Sweet Home has become the exception. Looking forward to S3. Hopefully, someone knocks Lee Eun Yoo's lights out so I don't have to be annoyed by her for another eight episodes.
My first thought: Hyo-shim is playing along because she doesn't want to lose her job. The writers aren't trying to romanticise this delusion Tae-min has. But nope. I was wrong. The writers, in fact, are trying to cast Tae-min as romantic and his sexual assault as a "moment" between them. In the big year of our lord 2023. And the crazy part is that this episode started so well.
At this point, I don't think we're going to get a satisfactory "f-you" from Hyo-shim to her family. It's going to be redemption all around for the horrible characters and no real punishment.
And I really liked this drama. Characters aside, the acting was good and the plot had some merit. This might be it for me.
I pretty much agree with everything but hating HS for it because she clearly is held hostage by her writer atp.…
Everything you and OP said. The writers are pretty fucked up. I'm usually first to defend writers but the romantic bgm pushed me over the edge. I'm going to watch tomorrow's episode hoping for a "sike!" moment with Hyoshim otherwise I'm dropping this drama.
Pavel as Babe is just undescribably sexy. A walking thirst trap. He's always been hot but damn.
But... I can't fully get into his relationship with Charlie. It doesn't feel earned. We can tell he's in love but didn't see the process of falling in love whether it's sweet romantic moments or intense passionate moments. Feels like someone waved a wand and bam! Leads in love. As for Charlie, I can't tell if he's still acting or is in the process of falling for Babe. The character is missing some subtlety.
Yeonwoo and Sawol are scene stealers. Their scenes are utterly hilarious. The romance between Taeha and Yeonwoo…
I think he's doing a good job of showing a volatile young chaebol who hasn't received love from the elders in his life and latches onto the first person to show him unselfish affection. It might not be how it's been done before or how you envision it. Might also want to consider what you don't like is the character and not the actor's portrayal.
The screechy dancer needs to fall on her swords or something.
This show gets better with each episode. Jeong Gu Won is so cute and grumpy you forget he is a demon and then you have a scene like that one that reminds you that he kills humans without a thought. The two secretaries onscreen together make for good comedy.

Off to IG to watch reels of Babe looking hot.
