Title See You
Do you know where to watch this other than on gagaoolala ?
I agree. I think the film was hinting at the piling of life's events on any young person, and for Yu's, with the parents bit of unsettling situation we saw and the school gossiping, while we never saw it intensify I bet it was worse then we were shown and then just pile on being young and not knowing where to turn would be what most young people might have to tackle in their life. I just wish we had more strong visuals on the why he did it just for my personal acceptance of it but in life, when we do hear someone young committed suicide we never do know the full on truths behind the actions, so yea, I also think the less strongly supported content on the why makes the film more realistic on what goes down out there in life. The film feels a bit unsatisfying to me personally because I am the type that likes 'solid understanding of what I watch' in a film/series but also packed a huge emotional punch for me which is why I did love it and will watch again.

Me too. I like Ja and Tae, they seem basically comfortable together but with a more mature script and more workshops these 2 should be able to make a big splash together, but this story....eee, yikes

Just checked, there's five more episodes...no, baby... I'm sorry. I cannot even five minutes. I really feel bad…
same. I was so excited with a highly mature content theme only to have this drown in a bunch of old tropes and dragged out miscomm......script writers tortured this series mercilessly. What it could have been...aww, such a wasted opportunity for a great intense and highly emotional mature series...but...they tanked it. Like you, I feel so bad for the actors!!
On The Love Never Sets Dec 7, 2025
Holy......one word.....JUVENILE. Just watched 1-8 in a binge and it will be all I can do to not drop and finish this but I like the actors so that is the only reason I am holding on thru this mess. The excitement of the content (debt, forced into porn trade, Professor conducting illicit crime/SA etc) I thought would keep this story intense, fierce raw emptions and be focused on a very mature theme but we very quickly vaulted straight into old boring tropes and very dragged out miscomm/misunderstanding and the characters act like teens. Hiding all their emotions and thoughts when it was SO easy to say I like you and move forward, yet the script writers just tortured the pairings to death with useless silence when big moments came when one should speak up....wow. This is a toughie LOL but ...I loosely say I like it cause....I think the actors are doing well with extremely poorly written roles. So will hold best I can and only hope better scripts will come for the actors in this series!

I've only casually browsed the webtoon but I definitely prefer the live action. Il Jo comes off as a bit more…
Yea, it flipped a bit thru some sketchy dub con NC type scenes and got a bit more serious but it is lightening back up some. Near chapter 35 now. Loving the mains, both are nuts :) Iljo ain't no saint either even tho he takes the abuse, he wants it too actually so.....not sure how this is gonna go down but I am so into power reading thru it and have to say I am loving it now. Need a big redemption arc and maybe a chasing arc for Jeonghan to bring him to his knees. Gotta give Iljo some self worth and power in these dynamics I hope. (I feel ya. I am avid reader so I get drawn in at the first panel HAHA and rarely I drop a story, I'm addicted in my stories to go to the finale even if I have to grit teeth sometimes :) but one is more a reader or not so I understand your action on it. (Appreciate the fun chat!)

ya know I am 15 chapters into the manhwa and honestly, I am loving the slightly toxic Jeonghan and I get a feeling that Iljo isn't innocent at all kinda, have alot more to read but I feel this is more comedic in nature and the psychological tag it holds feels sarcastic to me. I am giggling thru it mostly with the weirdo convos that are going down between them. I take it the live action is going more serious and a darker nature maybe? I am gonna read this first then binge watch the series later and see how they adapted this but for me, I am into weird dynamics in my manhwa and I just feel comedy in it too?? IDK why tho but I do...lol....ahhh but I am liking the read so far.

oh cool, thanks for some insight. I love to compare the live action adaption against the written source. Little extra hobby I enjoy but sometimes it backfires when I love the manga so much & the series/film deviates too much or those raw emotions and charasteristics are lost too. I kinda like he comes off as more assertive and more in control as I would think that would strengthen the dynamics between mains in a live action right off the bat. Interesting, I will be reading soon.

Thanks, I will check it out soon. I love little things like this or the inconsistency of props and such in the scenes. Makes it fun :)

WOW my manga buddy just rec'd me to read this, they are 1/2 way thru the manhwa and ranted to me they are pulling their hair out cause of the miscommunication, evil ML and misunderstandings that are messing with the mains and my buddy is threatening to crash the laptop and burn down the website the manhwa has him so flustered. I just put this on my to read list and now I see it is a series already...I didn't know...can't wait, what first, read or watch? omgosh what to do, what to do, probably read first...the summary on the movie is the exact wording from the manhwa. I'm excited LOL

Binge watched. WOW I didn't feel hardly anything in this series at all. Felt like I was watching a 1st yr high school series with teens. Gyeon, our ML is the only character I felt had any substance. I didn't vibe with any other character. Actors were good, not a doubt, everyone played their part but the only character with any big emotion was Gyeon and was written with some depth and enough current & backstory where I could connect him with an emotional bond to the MC. Story flow was awkward for me, and didn't make my feelings care for characters because things came in a backward or flashback way that just didn't track well. Lacking story and character buildup, this story was flatlined mostly for me. I felt like I didn't know any character other than Gyeon kinda. I liked it ok, got thru it, 1 time was nice cause I did see a great performance by Cha SeJin and I felt he really lifted the series for me.
On At 25:00, in Akasaka Season 2 Dec 5, 2025
S2 was outstanding against S1 for me.....but I felt let down by the finale. It fizzled. I still feel their elevated connection etc but I wanted way more focus on the mains and where they stand for long term etc. vs. (like another comment mentioned...it was a good acting class!) and I agree with that comment. I wished the script writers truly put the relationship between 2 people forefront vs career cause I wanted way more out of that last NC scene. Not explicit, I wanted way more emotional intensity and again, it fizzled for me. BUT I still love the growth in all the actors and stronger bonds between all in this S2. Like others, wanna see that next ep Daytime Dream, looks great.

Rewatch. Ending always gets me but I found the middle drama more depressing then the ending! But for me I am glad Handong didn't get his personal happy ending either so....but again, at poor Lan Yu's expense. I liked this story since it is so basic. No frills, no over the top fluff, just living life and how it goes down between the mains. Simple. I'll rewatch again later too, cause I just like Lan Yu.
On Forbidden Love Dec 4, 2025
Another rewatch of an old fav of mine. I always liked it but honestly every time I watch it I hate the ending. I have re-written the ending of this story over the years in many ways and came up with so much better HAHA Another thing that got me is the lower amt of dialogue for our characters in that it is purposely not there for quick explanations or any info on the situation going down between Sho and Ritsu for when they do actually interact. I wanna smack the original script writers of this film...heehee.......ahhh, this is just a fav oldie for me and one I wish I could rewrite :)

Title Taboo
Rewatch. I like it but it leaves me highly annoyed as well. I think I watched it again just to look at Kano :) Acting is ok but the characters are written so flat. I try and try to find more subtly in it and more emotional clues from the actors themselves to point towards some more understanding of this weak story line of evil intentions?, revenge?, unrest amongst ranks? hate? etc. but I just keep failing mostly. I love the line when Kano is asked why did a rich man join the militia and he answered to have the right to kill.....hmm....I wonder if the character was meant to be very emotionally unstable due to all the men's attention on him but the acting didn't portray that direction to me? IDK. We are not given enough in this film truly. So vague I felt left hanging. For me there just isn't enough meat on the bone to really put this film in focus. I get the basics of it, but for a viewer like me it doesn't set well having to interrupt a more open ending and it irks me to the max because I expected that final fight scene to explode with info for me, instead I got more mystery right at the end. I was the cherry tree at the end. I got chopped lol
Rewatched again. I liked it. But like some other comments the mains had not a lot of chem at all. I didn't feel it but I so enjoyed the actors in this.....the story line is typical but the movie gave me some feels for just how life goes down out there and the entanglements so many are faced with in life so it hit home as a good solid little film. It moves right along, and gave me a giggle or 2 and in the end I rewatch this every now and then because it is easy going and simple.

Ep 9 was good. Aww, Big with his hair down is so handsome. Park has an adorable addictive smile. I liked Jeng in this episode. This actor draws me in, he is good! I am still enjoying this but with only 1 episode left how is all this going to wrap up? There is still a huge issue on the table....that parallel universe? Is he going to stay in this world or is he going to be whisked back to his own life? I am always wondering about Apo on the other side and how he is fairing lol Ahhh, this is fun :)
On The Wicked Game Dec 1, 2025
I just finished it in a full binge watch and I loved it. I took it just as it was presented. To be an over the top exaggerated show and some parts just fantastical and Daou and Offroad slayed as their characters and their chemistry was thru the roof for me. I liked all other actors and they rounded out this crazy series that just screamed watch me, with some giggles to enjoy with crazy action like direct gunshot wounds to the stomach and they don't even flinch. Just keep on fighting LOL The finale was lackluster, they just wrapped it all up in a neat bow quickly so they could get the 2 back together to sail into their happily ever after future. It left a lot open in the way of a truly satisfying ending, but with an exaggerated series like this one, a lot will be left to the imagination and just plain left out of the story to finish it off. Still, I enjoyed every minute of it :) I had many smiles watching this and will watch it again just to see how sneaky evil Pheem actually is in the show. Offroad rocked that character! For me it entertained as intended!
