Manga addict here and I have no idea why I have not looked into this one as I have read tons.....I just looked it up and it is uploaded to Ch. 92 on my site. OHH you know what I am gonna be doing in a few....thank you for mentioning that cause I'm shocked this slipped thru my fingers? WOW I appreciate your info on that! Just finished finale and my gosh I am so into this triangle it is crazy lol. What I love about reading the source is all the extra insight/thoughts that are so much more alive vs a live action that has a more limited dialogue/feelings conveyed from the source.

ohh I didn't read the novel but if that went down I could see it maybe coming into play as a way to ward off his current red flag because Mob sure is never without a clever way to protect himself! Cool, Ahh someone who could read minds and with Mob doing such huge blabbering in this thoughts would be great comedy line to follow...I would be so interested in that!! I, like you, enjoy the tropes as long as they have that unusual spin a bit. Same old same old is so out there now that the writers are under big pressure to give any series a catchy twist that enhances the usual tropes and they are cranking out some very clever and good series. Whatever they have planned for Mob I am one who is in the front seat waiting for a good laugh and fun time and hoping he really gets what he wants, but most times he is so set on dodging, does he even really know what he wants? He is so narrow and obsessive on his survival even that makes him a great character to me. Such a good series :)

it is up to Vol 4 I read and ending was satisfying; they are promising a Vol 5 so at least the manga will continue lol. It would be cool to see even a S 3 for live action but prob not right? Never seems they go beyond the sequel and call it quits kinda. who knows tho :)

Great point that I had that same feeling from reading the manga. The personality from the source didn't match up with the character in S1 so it gave me that he was so low self esteem that was off putting, like how can someone who is so introverted and shy want to be an actor and stand out on screen? It felt so polar opposite somehow to me. I read tons of manga and that 'sets my expectations' when I see one adapted but sometimes they don't jive lol But S2 is killing it!!

thank you for that link. That was enjoyable to read against the movie and gave a bit more insight. I also understood the film was to bring awareness for the emotional destruction that can happen in upset times during older teen/young adult years. A slice of life type situation being addressed out in the open ig. Cool interview

Liked it! This was so emotional. I loved the chemistry between them and they had good chem in Season of Love in Shimane also. They play off each other very well. Not a fan of open endings, but from how he was emotional and not answering, my guess is he holds to the break up. I got that feeling he felt the relationship, no matter how much they were in love before, faded. To me it felt the bond was broken so with an open ending, I choose they didn't reunite. (just me, my conclusion)

Loved it because it was about their wedding and I like both of them :) A bit too stagey, yea I get it, and not a fan of the panel. But it was interesting to see them work thru the process and to literally be invited to their wedding. So happy they found their happiness!

oh I sure agree. I kinda thought the suicide in a way was not supported enough to truly see him choosing that route. I felt like that part was glossed over but it was a huge part of the entire story and it left me feeling just like you, the rest of the story and C Y's feelings and actions seemed like he would have been a good support so it left that same thinking in my mind. It left me a bit unsatisfied for such a huge tragic event didn't seem to have a solid background.

Ep 4 and I melted at the end :) Oh tho I so wanted character Tai to be way more forceful and go into that room fully determined and confront him with more intimate contact and more big emotional contact but writers so low keyed it. Boo. I wanted that dynamic in that secene but other than that every single bit of comedy thru this was so engaging and great. Loved it! Everyone is nailing their character roles and this is a fun time for me with this series!!

Ep 5 did show reasons on that sadness that Asami carries and life is about constant choices and opportunities presented and how does one choose their forward path? Hayama is a huge factor in that choice he made but I love the conflict and tension that is involved this season is internal factors, not outside forces. This ep was very calm to me but had that impactful underlying turmoil of how they are setting up their relationship to be rivals in a common career. So curious on how this is going to play out til the end. Loved this ep and it really is a refreshing series.

I agree in a way cause all dub con is super sus and dub con means there is some type of coercion or manipulation or ? being done to not make this clear consent. It really is a grey area. In the manga tho he doesn't resist, he just complies quickly all the while knowing he is gonna be killing him soon as ordered. Plus he is actually infatuated with Kataoka already in a warped way with his best friend that passed away was so into Kataoka also and literally put him on a pedestal. He was already being drawn to him before this interaction too.

both actors grew a lot in their expressions and just that closer feeling you get when they do interact feels more comfortable....but I think in S 1, Yuki, (Taisuki) might have been coached to play a very naive, insecure, innocent and introverted almost character that he didn't carry much spark in S 1, but woof, his role now in S 2 gave me a more forceful feeling and it placed him as a more outgoing and involved character and he stepped up his expressions etc a lot more (well it felt like that to me :) )

OUTSTANDING! Not fan of period series but this one broke the bank against all the usual tropes that are so predictable for me. I was invested instantly! Actors all were amazing in their roles!! Interactions with characters was complicated along with the story/plot of its' content but the writers made this so well understood in the flow of the story that it was just the most engaging and great pacing of this entire series. I never once had to 'go back' to figure out the complexities of the relationships or movement forward ever on how this story unfolds. This team of script writers are so talented!! But what was oh so wrong for me was the NC scenes were so lacking and did not ever create a sexy vibe with the intensity of how this period story expands! So lackluster were these scenes that it took literally from the atmosphere of how precious their love was and almost tanked it for me as a 100/10 lol but I can forgive that :) Best was finance Pin, her role was stellar and growth development amazing and this actress killed this part! If the mains ever pair again I hope the intimacy seen can be truly portrayed more in their connections but I feel they had it, but the writers failed to capitalize on it and that left me so disappointed on their bonding cause that is the whole focus of this story.....the mains and without the NC scenes being giving that can't live without you vibe and that energy passion that goes with being young forbidden love it left me sad to not get that feeling and interaction. If the sexy scenes were energized and lustful this would have killed this series hands done as a top series! But in the overall end, this was way more than I expected and a very great series that I just loved!!! WOW

yes SA, but the person asked if this was a rape situation and it was not. When I said that sentence in the manga and in the series the person accepts his situation and doesn't fight against it and participates. It became dub con. I agree it is SA. Not a doubt.

Ep 5 was good, just showing couple after couple, maybe inferring that Mob might actually become a couple? Problem is with this season the filler is too much taking focus off Mob and a possible actual relationship forming so it feels like to me they are starting to drag it out. Why? This ep while good felt surprisingly empty to me. Next ep. preview seems promising for some good tension and laughs and hopefully a great finale.

So agree. The kissing scenes really felt intimate. Even veteran actors aren't cranking out good scenes like that so these actors put in some effort to connect on camera and it was a job well done! Really nice series!

Loved it! Just finished binge watching it and I expected a bit more dark but I got a fluffy lighthearted good time from this series. Acting was great for all. Easy flow and nice little romance, emotional connection in the kissing scenes and just a bit of fun made this a very enjoyable series. This made me happy today!

I can't do it. Can't finish it. Dropped after ep 6. It's a jumbled mess. I rarely drop but I can't get into it. I was trying to watch it for the cast cause I love them all but that hasn't saved this for me even. It all fell flat. Chem between Boun and Prem was lackluster and even the intense conflicts between hunters and vampires seemed forced or ?? I don't know how to describe it LOL I didn't gel at all with this one. I felt like in scene changes I was being thrown into a different series. It didn't flow well between the romance and conflicts and revenge concepts etc. Should have less focus on multiple story lines and shallow feeling relationships etc in this to make it work well. More depth of less content would have made this a stronger series for me. To chaotic.

Yup and I am same as you, I have rewatched S1 a few times just analyzing their connection and emotions and I tell ya whatever workshop or growth/bond they changed in their dynamic between them is outstanding. As actors they developed fast in their interactions. I really am happy how they have progressed and I give them a thumbs up for their great efforts :) These guys are killing this season!

Loved it. Too short tho to feel the real dynamics of their long term relationship so it leaves one more guessing what leads to this more drifting apart type scenario. (With less info it also invites the viewer to also insert their own relationships and feelings and kinda give one an immersive feeling of what their story might be based on personal experiences also in a way. This can make this series be viewed very differently for each individual too). I thought the acting was great. Both showed emotions just as they should when the scenes called for just that and I thought the story line was ok and did give us a lot but again, being 4 eps. it can't pack the punch into it mostly but for me it delivered exactly what I felt the story was about....reevaluating a long term relationship when 2 people don't gel as much and having that big shake up to either 'reset' themselves or call it quits. I loved the ending when they decided to 'Love Reset'. I enjoyed it, but wish there was more to it for substance.
