Just watched the final episode. It wasn't that bad, maybe GMMTV's best BL so far. But, I'm disappointed by the…

The series was just barely ok. The finale fell flat for me. The big event was unromantic and so boring I cringed thru it. Actors are handsome and they did a good fine job, along with there were a few fun shining moments in the series but in the end the entire production was listless, no movement or energy. Kiss scenes? Shaking hands would have been more exciting. It was a sweet series that had good intentions but it just barely passes compared to many new series that are cranking out with better scripts and quality. No rewatch value for me.

I need Top and Krismon in another drama together. They are gorgeous and didn't get enough screen time because…
Agree. They are a good visual pair and have good chem in their acting playing off each other. Hope they can shine better in a future series.

Glad you screamed that out!! I wish the script was written so much better revolving around this huge incident. It left so many of us feeling it was handled so unsatisfactory.

Zefang was such a bad person it surprises me to see people just didn't care about that and think he deserves something.
Yea. Grandpa put more work into his feelings with H as a focus vs. every single moment trying to find out a way to give back Zefang's body. Zefang wasn't really treated as a human in this story when ya really think about it. He really was just a means to an ending in the direction the author wanted the story to lead. Frustrated like you :) Zefang himself would have been a great character to understand and learn more about but we didn't get that chance.

you made a great point. Zefang as himself wasn't even fleshed out as a whole person. He was painted directly into the corner that the author needed him to be for the justification of how the story went down. I also never found Zefang to be a bad person, a young guy with alot of emotions and frustrations and didn't understand how to get them out, which to me is like a perfectly normal part of coming of age. (Also that part of 'I want to be a girl/sex change? I don't think he wanted to 'be a girl', reason he was thinking that route to me was because H didn't like him and he thought H wanted a girl so? I think that was total desperation talking and him just saying anything to be by H's side, who to me, treated him horribly.) I might go back and watch that again about the scenes when he says he wants to be a girl cause this summary of the series also states he wants a sex change but the series sure did not elaborate at all on any of that in any depth. Which to me, was a huge draw on the summary page. Even Grandpa never addressed this key part of the summary info about sex change...huh? Kinda like a bait for interest to grab readers maybe? IDK) I assume the novel had alot more depth but I never read it.

True what you said. Clearly he was to be used and abused and shown as a 'bad guy' to justify Grandpa stealing his young body, a human soul to be used as a toy for the mains.....at least that is how the author fated poor Zefang to me. Reincarn took precedence over an actual human life that was currently living its' life. More I think about it with how you worded it, the more it is OH SO WRONG and this series is hitting very low to me. Probably not meant to be looked at in a deep evaluation but this story line for Zefang stinks.

Ep 12. I could barely hit play. I had so much anxiety. I am a historical genre lover and they all follow a tough path towards never having that happy and satisfying ending. I was lazer focused on this finale. I knew where it was going and could barely take it, but the total final ending put a huge smile on my face and some relief. Even tho fantasy at the end, I found myself hanging onto that very fantasy with a death grip. No words describe the electric bond between the 2 actors who are enormously talented! And along with the rest of the cast. Not one actor failed to deliver. Shed a tear for Hua and Shen which I kinda felt would be that path but had hopes. OUTSTANDING....rewatch many times over.

Title Secret Lover
Huge change of heart on this series for me. Ep 9 gave me emotional, feels of intimate connection between the 2 mains that was severely lacking in the beginning for me. This episode had all the energy and interaction/connection, angst and drama I wished it had in the first 8 eps. It wasn't there for me but NOW I feel it. (I also went off and checked out the main actors and watched some reels and interactions between them and they are solid as an acting pair/colleagues and friends feel so I am seeing these 2 in a different light) I needed to focus more on the actors in the beginning and not concentrating on the more boring and unenergized script that annoyed. OK.....this was a great episode and I see the actors as having huge potential to truly shine, with a solid series in the future if they work together, they can become so much more. Even if they go solo in career path, I see that both actors have passion. Took me a while to see this in this series but I see it now.

Knight/ Lee Long Shi has such better chemistry with Mild/Arm than he has had in previous shows! Seems more natural…
Agree. Arm and Long have a bond that should be expanded, worth a try for sure. Arm is just newer and needs time etc but they pair visually and I feel like Arm is wanting to be all in with his acting partner but he just isn't there yet with experience. But I feel like Long is all in and can do well with him if they get more workshop time etc......they would be a good pair for a future series. I see that they have good 'eye contact connection' and Arm can express feelings thru his eyes like Long, so I would love to seem them try that down the line and pair up in another series and see if and how they change that interaction thru improved acting skills together.

LOL this was funny to read :) Laughing! klah and tum I kinda give a pass but the girl, they took her part way…
I so get it. For a person to love so deep and commit yrs to it and never ever confesses, but once that target has another, the crazy one feels WHY IS IT NOT ME and goes ape? that is just over the top for me. Seeing it alot now in many series and it isn't an attractive add to the story ever. Don't get me started on that SA that was not and then 'NO closure or who was it, or were police called and trauma to Mild?' I mean it just got pushed to the wayside but to us viewers it is huge part of the story? Script writers just failed here to me. But I still love the actors basically so I am hanging in :P

Ep 6 was good. Loving the Japan version still. These actors pair up well for visuals and temperament :) I like their interactions. The GL side is ok, but I am finding it more annoying in the eps. now (just like I did with the Thai version)
