Your post had me cracking up. Agree with ya. I tell ya right I don't ever want to know more information about a stinkin' peach again in my entire lifetime :) :) I am kinda irked watching it thinking, I know all us bl story lovers could write a story/plot better than this and they got 10 eps to do it. So many like 6 ep. series are fabulous but in 10 eps these script writers dropped the ball, ahh too funny. I like it and don't like it, almost like Tide of Love 1 and 2. But even in that trainwreck I am rooting for our crazy couple, in this series I don't feel I wanna root for anyone for any reason. huh

Story line and basically no plot is what is making this series extremely weak. For me I am viewing as just entertainment, might drop, who knows LOL but right now this series wanted to be dramatic but it fell into lackluster for me. Tropes are usual, like father issues and parental control etc but they also are just feeling like side content in the story too. So for me I am watching, giggling a bit, enjoying some NC scenes that I think are fine and just gonna roll with the flow of it, even the flow of the story is jarring tho... haha Second leads, like, why are they even in it? Just think of this as fun :) All any of us can do.

yes, I am the same. I just said that in my review a bit ago. I call them my messy trainwreck couple, too funny! I can't look away either, I am laughing thru this and having fun with it actually

Ep 3 and I am all in rooting for my messy trainwreck of a couple to get a grip and play nice :) I laughed hard thru this ep. The open handcuffs alone had me rolling, the editing, come on, haha. But our Jaehun is getting more creepy by the episode, what comes next I have no idea but I'm gonna watch it!!! This is too much fun.

Ep 6 was good but few issues like overkill on the flashbacks wasting valuable screen time. Seen that already, want new content!! Wateru is dragging his decision out too much for me, get it together dude! Still enjoying this series tho, it has that soft JBL vibe I love.

Missed this one til it showed up on Gaga. Enjoyed it. Had some issues but overall I thought the local/scenery etc in the filming was nice. It had a fresh vibe to it for me. 5 guys newly meeting up for a trip, what could go wrong? A lot HAHA It kept me engaged til the end and overall I just enjoyed it.

I liked it :) Had some issues but I thought the filming was very beautiful with the scenery and the locations etc. Just a journey that got messy for 5 guys meeting each other in person and it had its' moments. Some heavy content in there and overall I just liked it. Good job, I enjoyed it.

missed this one....gonna go watch Director's Cut that showed up on Gaga a bit ago. Seems interesting, but rating is low?? who knows......

Ep 5/6 were great. Brought the story into play on what is happening and some backstory etc. I love the easy going NC scenes vs the Thai version in that this series isn't going as in depth and are keeping their NC scenes spicy, but imaginative also so for me this fits well in the series. But like another poster said, the limited time on this series doesn't give as much to the actual connection, depth, bonding these 2 are creating so I do feel it is lacking in that respect. Like this version tho!!

I think for me the issue with the mother is she destroys the lives of those around him. So she is crazy enough to literally have someone taken off the planet if needed to keep her son tight in her control. I think that she doesn't really hold it over him, she holds it against those around him and those he might love....so....mom is scary actually. This psycho mom has no limits, also makes her scarier if she has zero boundaries. Well my guess on it :)

I LOVED IT!! I love these 2 actors! Billy and Babe are so talented and so expressive, along with a wonderful cast they made this series so enjoyable to me!! Also shocked Billy and Babe cancelled with Idol Factory and Billy started his own entertainment company....just opened called B.ACESQUAD. Of course Babe is right by his side :) I can not wait to see what productions or actor talents come from this new company and where their visions lead. Best wishes to Billy and Babe for taking control of their futures and hope for only great advances in your careers!!

Contract pairing as 'couple/partners' is based on money. If their fandom shipped as a parter pairing brings in big profits, it is promoted like crazy. If a pairing decides to split for personal reasons or they fail to product profit, the company will dissolve the pairing. So this is all financial mostly when it comes to 'shipped or contract partners'. The pair can also if in the contract content work independently as support roles in other series etc. This is nothing more than contracts and profit. But you sure can tell when a ship works, like Pond and Phu are great friends along with other pairs like Pooh and Pavel etc. Billy and Babe just quit Idol Factory and Billy launched his own production company..(they are actually a confirmed couple in real life)...B.ACESQUAD.

I liked it :) Too short, no real depth to it but the creep vibe from being an experiment had me watching it but in the fast ending they liked each other thru whatever means that got them there ig.

Finished up to ep 8 with binge watching this and WOW......there is not one bit of reality in this script for me. 2 things going down, romance and murder investigation and both are so superficial and rushed and very awkward and the script is just amateur for me on this one. Romance, NC scenes non-existent, kissing scenes are not great at all, flirting while at work or scene with dead bodies?, hmm ok, they moved in within, what 2 days? and are over the top in love in 5 days? WTH is going on?? Investigation is a joke. Police work not based in reality, also it is a mess! Everything feels off in this series to me. I am not a fan of the super close up filming of this either. I felt like the entire movie was literally in my face constantly, it just feels weird with the closeness of how this was filmed. Rare I drop but not sure if I am gonna bother with last 2 eps?? will see. (just me personally not vibing with this series at all) (another comment mentioned the series felt crazily unconvincing, I think I feel that way too!)

I agree with your post definitely. I think Inspector got the murder case on day 1 right? he has 7 days to complete it, these guys now are in love and living together basically, flirting at crime scenes, heck it was basically sexual harassment from police officer Jade right out of the gate at Kamin lol and there is zero romance, the NC scenes are non-existent and awkward and I think they must have a no sexy scene clause in their contracts cause they tank in NC scenes, flirting is fab mostly but in the end, this script is just not good. It's so far from a reality murder/police situation I am laughing thru it all. Face cards and fan service is what drives this pairing but generally I do like these actors kinda :) but seriously not much good is coming from them that interests me (personally)

ohh love your comment with Latte and Kim to blow up!! I did a rewatch on DMD Friendship 2 with them choosing to pair so....I can't wait for this series to see how they act together.

Finished it. I kinda liked it til I didn't. The direction of the story wasn't what I was expecting. I was mesmerized by the beauty of the cultural dance, singing, and pageantry feel of the production but the story started to fizzle for me. Leng's eyes are so expressive and Leon's acting as obsessed with him was spot on but I didn't feel a more mature? connection in some way? Singers and performances were great! But I had to fight to get thru the last 3 eps. Story had more potential. Something was missing in this series for me but I enjoyed aspects of it also. It drew me in til it kicked me out with what felt like a downward turn in the story line.
