The romance tag or just saying the word romance in the synopsis is over used sometimes. Nirvana in Fire is one of my favorite dramas but a lot of people didn't like it or dropped it because there was no romance after so many episodes. I mean that drama was so far from being a romance I do not know why the word was even used. To me it's just setting a show up for low scores if people think they are going to watch a romance drama and it's not.

And it's really pathetic when there is a side character who is a good person and the second lead just looks at him/her as if they do not exists. Or has the nerve to give that person advice that he/she should be doing . I know the heart wants the heart wants but if the other heart is not responding you need to move on.

I agree with all these. I'm watching Fugitive Plan B and the second lead did a number 6 on the main lead for a number of years and he thought all he had to say was sorry and I love you and all is forgiven. Nope.

I agree with you. I've only been watching Korean dramas for close to 5 years now but I have never rooted for the second lead to get with the main lead. It's really hard to when the main lead has shown no interest in second lead what-so-ever and in some cases came right out and said we can only be friends. Of the dramas I have watched I do not think I've really seen a drama where the lead does have sincere feelings for both lead and second lead.
I told a small lie. In the drama Monster by the end I was hoping the male lead ended up with the second, third or fourth female lead or by himself.

Ratings should at least be in the high 9s. Probably in the 8s because of the lack of romance which the drama did not need. Plus, do to some circumstances could they really be a couple?
The fact that Kang Pil Joo and Na Mo Hyun knew how each other felt was enough for me. Very well acted from the leads to the supporting roles. I know some felt the father's lady friend was not needed and she was sort of ditzy but I felt like she was the only one who truly liked him. Glad Jang Hyuk didn't turn down the role because it's a weekender. When it was first announced that he was doing the drama some people were questioning why he would do this at this point in his career. I was just thinking he read the script and liked it. I have respect for anyone who is willing to take a risk and not stay on the straight path.
Was Han So Hee's character's time cut because to me she was not part of the main cast?
I saw a possible new drama for Jang Hyuk called New Sea . Does anyone know what this is about?

It just dawned on me that this will be the third time Kim Rae Won and Kim Hae Sook played son and mother and each time it was a different bond.

I am confused. I have not checked on this in some months but did the actors change? Wasn't Wallace Chung linked to this drama?

I actually enjoyed it until the last hunting job and everything after that. It was a completely different story and there was no reason for it to be in this drama. Made me mad because all the acting was good from main roles to guest roles.
The friendship between Qiu Dong and Lin Bai made me want watch Nirvana in Fire again. The two actors have good chemistry when it comes to friendship.

I'll be glad when it starts. I like both leads (not familiar with the other two leads) and a lot of the support cast. Glad it's only 24 episodes because sometimes at 50 episodes the story starts to keep repeating certain themes.

Just finished watching and I enjoyed it over all. The ending to me was what it was suppose to be because it was more believable than a happy ever after. I guess this thing called Second Lead Syndrome is something I have have yet to experience.

I learned one or two things about food safety. Other than that it was just not for me.

It's on my Plan to Watch list. I didn't know that Japan did long dramas so this will be new to me. My only problem is that it will probably be closer to 2019 by time it gets subbed and that's if it gets subbed.

I know it goes against the norm but Yoon Je Moon is more of a main character than Noh Min Woo.

Personally I did not see the attraction of Dong Hee and Seong Joon. Visually they were a nice looking couple but that was it. He was wood and she was a step up being plywood. Since the actor was so stiff I failed to get into the father and son relationship. It was rather dry. This also could be due to the fact that I am watching Bad Thief, Good Thief and you can feel the love between the father and his sons. Then again all three of them are good actors.
Unlike others I stayed because of the other storylines and I wanted to see how they would be resolved.

Seems like Viki did a clean up of his dramas. Only My Sunshine remains for subbed dramas and Memories of Love is all that is listed under Fan channel. Not looking good. I have a whole list of Chinese dramas I want to see but the two major sites do not have them.
