Thank You.

The drama isn't bad but it's not something I would watch again. The lead male is in his 40s and he looks like a man in his 40s. Nothing wrong with that but during the flashbacks he was suppose to be in his early 20s and it just didn't work. They tried to make him look young by putting him in hip clothing and turning his cap backwards but that just made him look older.
Then there were the scenes that were suppose to have taken place in America. While I have not traveled all of America this was definitely not the USA. Why does it always have to be the USA that the character goes to? Why can't that use whatever country went to get scenes from?

My first daily drama and I really enjoyed it. The number of episodes didn't bother me probably because I grew up watching soaps. Does anyone know of any other daily dramas that center around the male character. It was nice seeing the male character starting off poor or a troubled background and working himself up to become someone.
Im Joo Hwan is a good actor and I do not see why he is not getting lead roles.

I liked LOTCH but my main problem was it seemed as if every episode we had to be reminded several times that Guo Jing was not very bright. I loved his relationship Hong Qi Gong because like Huang Rong he was able to look beyond the lack of smarts and see the true person. To me Hu Ge is a very versatile actor because his character in LOTCH and the character in NIF are miles apart. Sometimes actors sort of stick to what is comfortable to them.

Battle of Changsha is one of my favorites and you come to care about all the characters so it hits you hard when something happens. This is a war drama so there is death. I like dramas where each character shows some type of character growth.

I saw The Vigilantes in Masks but for me it was more like something to watch while waiting for another drama to end its run.

I dropped Battle of Changsha because it was way too good and I was scared that my faves would die.
If you can't handle sorrow then you did the right thing. Just looking at the picture brought back sad memories.

I watched this drama for Wallace Chung and he is the reason I finished it. This was my first time seeing the female lead and she was hit or miss. Nothing really stood out about her character and I was hoping that it would.
As with a lot of long dramas this one could have been shorter. The "I have to leave" became rather repetitive and I could find no real reason for it. The one on one fight scenes started out good but after awhile it became tedious. I mean how many times do I have to see the near miss with the sword?
I thought it was kind of funny when someone was describing mystery man and they would say it could on be Chu Bei Jie I was right there with them. When they were describing a mystery person with great strategies they would say it could only be Bai Ping Ting I kept saying Mei Changsu.

Not bad. Took awhile to move past the some of the characters ages in comparison to their real age. The three main characters are suppose to be in their early twenties but one of the actors was 34/35. Nothing wrong with looking 35 but when your character is supposed to 20 it can be a bit jarring.

Has anyone heard of a drama called Invisible King? I saw it listed as one of his works for 2016 but I can find no information on it.

Secret formula. It wasn't bad but 34 episodes was too long for this drama. Secret formula. After awhile it seemed as if the story switched to a supporting character and her obsession with a secret formula.Secret Formula. As far as romance there really wasn't any.Secret Formula. Did I mentioned secret formula enough? If you choose to look at this the last 10 or so episodes are about the secret formula. I found myself skipping a lot when it came to this supporting character and the secret formula.

I see DN/DC has all episodes up but not subbed. Have you been able to find it anywhere subbed in English?

The reason why I don't like SOME Statue Kissing is because the female comes off looking like she really doesn't want to be kissed even though she may like the guy. She just stands there being polite while he is doing whatever he wants.Only thing I get from her is "when is this going to be over". Nothing cute about that. Two people can kiss without it being graphic. I've seen it before even in Korean dramas.
What I hate more than a weak female lead is a strong female lead who becomes weak when a man enters her life. What is the meaning behind that?

I can honestly say I have never had Second Lead Syndrome. I've liked second leads but never to the point where I would want him to be with the lead female. The rest of the list I agree with.
For the first time I've experienced Second Couple Syndrome. I'm watching Chinese Paladins 5 and the lead couple have zero chemistry. The second lead male has chemistry with both (I didn't want him to have chemistry with one of the ladies but it didn't turn out that way.) the other two women.

I am so determined to watch this since I'm waiting for so other dramas to finish their run. But it's hard. I saw the lead actress in First Love and she didn't leave a good impression. But I am always willing to give people more than one chance. I am on episode 25 and she is still not leaving a good impression. I gave her a pass in Xuan Yuan because her character was new to the world. But First love and Now this no more passes.
In addition to what I mentioned the pace is slow there are epiosdes where nothing really happens to move the story along. Does this story start to pick after episode 25?

OK. It looks decent enough, I'm waiting patiently for the subtitles. But guys, 9.5? Really? Chill out with…
May I ask why people hate Chinese dramas?
