Good news! She just got a drama offer. Bad news...She may be second lead to Suzy. Even more than her being a better actress than Suzy (imo), second female lead character's never really fare very well in dramas and I don't want her to fall victim to a terrible character.

I wanted her to continue her trajectory after Save Me and this feels like a step back. She's gorgeous, but she doesn't have the typical cookie-cutter look that people might automatically associate with beauty. I really hope that isn't hindering her. She's talented (Save Me undoubtly showed that) she just needs the right vehicle to show it.

She was hands down my favorite character in Faith. She's absolutely stunning!

There is something really charming about him to me. Hoping for a new drama soon.

I plan on watching this show because of the great comments and rating (although I have been severely let down after watching shows based on the ratings on this site), but I want the right mindset when going in...How significant of a role does Jung Kyung Ho play? Aside from the rating/comments he would be my other main reason to watch this show.

I loved her in Story of a Man. I wish she'd come back and in a main role too!

I was planning on watching this anyway because of Jung Kyung Ho, but seeing so many comments that this show is good in general makes me excited.

During my K-drama journey this and 'Save Me' are the two shows that have left such an impression on me. Hands down the two best decisions I have ever made as far as k-dramas go. Neither are an easy watch, but they grab hold and won't let go.

The dark and twisted dramas appeal to me a lot and I think it's because it's so much easier to suspend disbelief when you're watching dramas about subjects that are not standard, and the chances of you ever coming across it IRL, are relatively low. And then when you have shows that touch on these type of subjects and STILL somehow manages to ground them? And romance ISN'T front and center or an integral part of the story? Well that's my cookies and cream.

I fell assbackwards in love with Jung Kyung Ho during this drama. That man can do no wrong in my eyes (even if I do side-eye his project choices). I don't usually fall for anti-heros, but with Doctor's Son? Hell yeah I did!

She is absolutely gorgeous! Everything I've seen her in she's played a mean girl, but she has this quality about her that makes you enjoy her character despite of it. I thought she was absolutely hilarious in Flower Boy Next Door and I thoroughly enjoyed her character even if I wasn't rooting for her. She seems to have disappeared from the acting world, but I would welcome her return.

Shunji actually breaks my heart more than Kang To. He has major issues there is no denying that and he is sinking further and faster into madness, but a big chunk of me feels the major reason is because he is being provoked into it. One of the biggest issues I have so far with Kang To's Gaksital verses Kang San's Gaksital is that even when Kang San was Gaksital and Kang To was after him he never did anything that would directly provoke him. The same cannot be said for Kang To.

Shunji had to witness his brother being murdered in one of the most brutal ways I have ever seen, if not the most. And yes, his brother killed Kang To's mother, although I'd argue she played a part in that by grabbing the gun, but Shunji isn't aware of that yet (ep 14). And the funny thing is Shunji admitted that after witnessing Bridal Mask kill his brother he lost it, but that still wasn't enough for him to actively want to give up his life as a school teacher and join in on the crusade for Bridal Mask. Truly it wasn't until he saw his father crying over his brother that he really considered it. He told Kang To he didn't believe his father even had tears or blood in him.

And now you have Shunji having only the knowledge of BM being the reason his brother is dead, which in turn hurts his dad (even though we as an audience know he's an ass, he's still human) and to make matters worse Kang To/BM continues to try and tear his father down and squander any hopes of stopping Gaksital by undermining every move/decision that Shunji makes with full knowledge of what that's doing to him. It's no wonder he's losing it.

This is not to say I don't like Kang To or that I blame him completely for Shunji. I would however feel better if Kang To wasn't using his friend and completely manipulating him to take out his revenge, especially considering the hand he had in his brother's death. And I'd probably feel a little differently if the show's character's didn't completely gloss over the fact that Shunji lost a brother at the hands of Gaksital like It's no big deal to anyone except him and his father. Even if he was an ass, he still lost his life.

Currently watching this and it is definitely not an easy watch. I usually like to watch shows that have already ended so that I can plow right through, but with this one I wish it were currently airing so as to force me to have to take a break. I actually considered dropping this show because of how tragic it is and sometimes unnecessarily so at that. Tragedy aside this is an addicting watch.

The major problem I have so far is the main girl, character wise, not necessarily actress wise. She is so incredibly bland. She is giving off major vibes of the main girl from iljima, except that girl had not discernable personality traits whatsoever. 14 episodes in and I'm hoping it'll change.

The other issue is I'm actually rooting for Shunji over Kang To and that is clearly not supposed to happen.

Just finished episode 6 and I cannot deal with Kanzaki Nao. She is frustratingly hard to watch. There's naive and then there's her. The over the top, goofy as hell "villain" is easier to watch.

I swear the last shot of Matsuda Shota running saved the episode.

Update: I dropped it. The more it went on the less I was enjoying it. It think it tried to be more psychological then it actually was. It was actually very predictable.

Just finished episode 5 and I almost wanna drop it. There is only so much naivety I can take and the female lead is chock full of it.

This is gonna sound completely superficial and usually I'm not like this when it comes to drama watching, but damn Matsuda Shota is fine. At this point I'm continuing for him. Mostly because his character isn't a complete idiot.

A sensitive subject matter that I was eager to see play out, but ultimately was style over any real substance. I honestly could've watched the childhood portion of this movie for 2 hours and would have been thoroughly satisfied. That's where most of the substance in this movie is and it was beautifully done.

Lee Som was a real bright spot for me. I've never seen her in anything, but she was a joy to watch on screen. She has this calming quality to her that was extremely pleasant to watch even if there wasn't much character development for her character.

I've never cared for CSW, but he did a sufficient job with what he was given considering the limited amount of development his character had.

Not the worst 2 hours of your life you can spend, just kind of pointless.

I NEED to see Kyung Ho in a quality drama again. Please Jesus. I don't have high hopes, but it's Kyung Ho so I'll at least try an episode. Here's to hoping there's more elements to this show than just comedy and that Krystal won't feature prominently in it.
