I cannot deal with the amount of abuse in this show. That aside, as OTT as the characters are and as slapstick as the humor is, this show has a quality about it that intrigues. I can't say that I love it or even really like it, but I'm still watching it.

I don't have much to say about Chiaki character wise yet, but the guy that plays him has some mesmerizing eyes. He's very charming.

I've never seen Eita in anything, but I've always gravitated towards him because he has a very interesting look. His character here is actually my fave so far. Such a cutie.

Timpani is a hoot of a character and I was actually surprised to see a character like him in this show. I've seen a fair share of Asian Dramas and they don't tend to venture too much in the homosexuality territory. He's my 2nd fave.

Um the scene where Bong Ki is throwing Bong Soon's grandmother's clothes looking for his badge and he tells Bong Soon he'll give her a reason to really cry (if she doesn't find his badge) is utterally appalling. I've seen my fair share of man child's in dramaland and I still was disguisted. He's who I'm supposed to root for?

Something tells me I'm gonna suffer second male lead syndrome this entire drama. Funny since I started this drama for Lee Min Ki after falling for him in Dal Ja's Spring.

Just watched the first episode and loved it. I haven't had this much fun watching a K-drama in a long time. I was actually thinking about taking a break from them, having finished Save Me (absolutely fantastic) and not finding anything else particularly interesting. On a whim I just happened to click on this show not expecting much, but I was completely charmed by the first episode. The characters were engaging, it's provocative in a way I have yet to see a kdrama be, it's funny and the music goes really well with the show, adding to it instead of taking away from it.

I can already tell by how the show is set up that Yu Jin is not gonna end up with Dong Wook, but can she get a happy ending? She's adorable. I've never seen the actor that plays Dong Wook but he is hella charming. I have no feelings, good or bad, towards Soo Kyung yet. I don't have much of a grasp on her.

There's still 21 episodes left for me, but I'm hoping this show remains charming, offbeat and just the right amount of indie to stay engaging. If nothing else, this show has great music selection.

This show was by no means good, but there are good things about it. Namely Siwon and that cute little girl that played his daughter. I came into this show for Chae Rim after loving her in Dal Ja's Spring, but I honestly didn't care for her here. Her character had a constant whine to her voice that drove me up a wall. Plus, I just really did not connect with her. I loved her devotion to her daughter and Yeeun, but just her without her kid(s), completely lackluster.

I'm sure Lee Hyun Woo is a nice guy and all, but he has all the charm of wet socks. And he plays the same character ALL the time. IMO he fared much better in Dal Ja's Spring.

I've only seen Moon Jung Hee in A Thousand Days Promise (no comment), but she was good here. I actually liked her. I had no idea she could dance.

Byung Hak was a total ass, but Yoo Tae Woong was super charming in this role. He was definitely a prick, but it was a hoot having him onscreen.

NOW, Siwon. This guy oozes charisma and he's not a half bad actor. Never seen him in anything, didn't keep up with his idol group and he was the furthest reason to watch this show for me. However, he was hands down the best thing about this show. His character was immature and petty and usually I have no time or patience for that kind of character (see Shining Inheritance), BUT it worked for Min Woo. While childish, Min Woo never came across mean or vindictive. He was good natured even with all his pettiness. And come on he was adorable. Siwon's expressions cracked me up. Who knew he could be so funny?

The little girl that played Yeeun has to be the cutest child actress I have ever seen. I do wish the show wrapped up her story better though.

As far as the story and plot goes, it was way too convenient for me. People found out secrets too conveniently. They walked in on phone calls at the right time every single time. You could see the next plot point before it happened. It didn't make for a very good watching experience.

So unless you're here to see Siwon cuteness I'd definitely pass.

This hurt. This hurt a lot, but I liked it. Moon Geun Young was absolutely beautiful here. She put in a nice performance and broke my heart. I've only seen her in Mary Stayed Out All Night and didn't think much of her, so this was a nice change. Gonna watch Painter of the Wind and hope she keeps impressing me.

The real star tho was Kim Joo Hyuk. I can't say I actually LIKED his character, but Joo Hyuk was absolutely charming. He reminds me of Lee Sun Kyun, who is one of my absolute faves. Definitely gonna watch more of his stuff.

Currently watching. Kim Jae Won has SUCH pretty eyes and yet not much behind them, at least not in this drama. Then again I am only on episode 12 so he still has time to improve. Character wise I actually like Jung Han.

The child actress of Hwang Jin Yi absolutely killed it! I actually miss her. Ha Ji Won is good (at least once we got past Jin Yi'd teenage years and her habit of pouting) but I'm just having a hard time connecting with her character right now. Her revenge is so shallow at this point. I'm waiting for it to evolve from keeping someone from achieving something.

As far as female characters go Seom Seom is actually my fave.

Jung Kyung Ho has great comedic timing, but he's also an amazing dramatic actor (watch Cruel City and be…
Yes, he definitely needs to showcase his dramatic chops more. Cruel City was the first drama I ever saw him in and I fell for him the moment he came onscreen. I never really care for the bad guys and yet I was so intrigued by his character without knowing what his shade of gray was. He's not conventionally good looking so that had nothing to do with it.

I haven't seen OMHE and Falling for Innocence was all over the place story wise, but I think Kyung Ho did the best he could with the role. He succeeded in making me laugh at least. I'm just ready for him to tackle a complex character again like in Cruel City.

Jung Kyung Ho has great comedic timing, but he's also an amazing dramatic actor (watch Cruel City and be amazed). I wish he'd focus a little more on dramatic, meaty, multi-faceted roles as well. I love this guy, but his recent drama choices have been underwhelming. I loved his portrayal in Falling For Innocence, but I did have issues with the show in and of itself.

He just needs a hit show to propel him. He's so deserving of more recognition.

Alas, because he's in this show I'll have to give it a chance. It may surprise me, but I'm not holding my breath. Nevertheless, it's Kyung Ho so I know he'll kill his role regardless of the material.

I know a lot of people LOVE Dong Cheol and I do too, maybe not as much as everybody else, because his character is a dime a dozen in the kdrama land. What makes him stand out is how charismatic Woo Do Hwan is, the boy just radiates whenever the camera is on him. Between Dong Cheol and Sang Hwan I actually find Sang Hwan more relatable, it's just that unfortunately Taecyeon cannot act so he just falls to the wayside.

But my fave character by far is Sang Mi because of how strong this girl is. She may be asking for someone to save her, but she isn't waiting for it to happen. She is actively trying to save herself and not trying to lose herself in the process and that is something I can root for. She is a heroine that I can back 100% and I had been missing that in kdrama land. I hope this character never loses the grit that she has. Seo Ye Ji is shining in this role. She had me feeling some kind of way in episode 5. It wasn't just what the writers put Sang Mi through, but the emotions that I could feel from Ye Ji.

I don't need romance, but can I get Sang Mi and Dong Cheol in the same scene exchanging words pls? Those two characters together could do damage. Plus if we're talking chemistry wise I actually felt the most between Ye Ji and Do Hwan.

The problem with this movie is that is was a lot of different things, but not not enough of any one thing. It wasn't creepy enough, thrilling enough, engaging enough, boring enough, good enough, bad enough. I mean the movie is finishable, but in the end I felt like I gained nothing.

As much as I love Jung Kyung Ho, this was not his finest performance.

This was my first time watching Won Bin and he's mighty fine and had some soulful eyes, but goddammit if that little girls speech about not hating him because if she did she wouldn't have anyone she liked, did not break my heart. So relatable. Bravo Kim Sae Ron!

Kim Sung Oh was such a highlight for me. I never once liked his character, but he cracked me up for a good portion of this movie. Seen him once before in that god awful City Hall drama, but didn't really notice him. Will definitely keep an eye out for him now. Also he kinda reminded me of Lee Min Ki a little bit in this movie. Idk maybe the hair?

This show is not perfect by any means, but the only thing that isn't working for me is the romance between the main leads. 7 more episodes to go, but can their romance be put on the back burner please? So blah.

On Miss Korea Jun 4, 2017
I have been in a drama rut lately with the exception of OCN's Tunnel so I decided to give Miss Korea a chance. While it's by no means revolutionary it is bolstered by lead characters that I actually care for and I've only seen one episode. I initially started watching this because I have a soft spot for a Lee Sun Gyun, but to my surprise it's Lee Yeon Hee who is really captivating me and I have never cared for her as an actress. She is shining brightly and I'm living for it. Time will tell if I still feel the same as the show unfolds, but I am cautiously optimistic about it.

I typically find the ratings on this site to be painfully exaggerated so as crazy as it may sound, the lower rating on this show actually gives me hope that I'll actually like/love it. Fingers crossed.

But Lee Sun Gyun as a believable high school student? Get serious.

9 episodes in and I'm almost at my wits end. Morally gray characters I can deal with. In fact I like those type of characters. However I cannot stand dumb, selfish characters and unfortunately the two main leads are ticking these boxes. Su Ae is definitely putting in a powerhouse performance, but even that isn't helping with her character at this point. Kim Rae Won on the other hand is doing nothing for me with his bland, lackluster performance. I typically try not to drop dramas, but with 11 more episodes to go... We'll see.

Sweet Lord this show took me the longest to complete since starting my k-drama journey. There were so many times…
Good luck is all I can say. My finger was itching to drop it. This is my third Kim Sun Ah drama for me that has been a big fail. I may just have an aversion to her or something. I do have Scent of a Woman on my list to watch, but that has everything to do with Lee Dong Wook. Let's hope this works out better than her other dramas.

Just finished watching this and I'm glad it's over. It wasn't the worst thing I've watched, but there are better. Han Ye Seul has very expressive eyes, but Anna Jo annoyed me to bits and even Sangshil had her moments of being irritating. The 2nd lead girl got increasingly annoying (as they always do), but I couldn't help but notice how well the character was acted out and how pretty she was. I could've done without the secondary romance because it was a whole lot of meh. My absolute favorite character was Kanja. Adored her to bits! Chulsoo was adorable, but I actually had a pretty hard time getting into his romance with Sangshil/Anna. It just didn't work well for me. Loved his relationship with his nephews tho and even Sangshil/Anna's relationship with his nephews.

Overall I'd rate this show a 6/10.
