KJ2025 Pei is counting the money he will get from losses to find out that videos of frustrated players have gone viral and it is successful.šš¤£ To counter his success he fills the company with more misfits that get outrageous salaries, high end benefits and maximum time off. It is strictly forbidden to work overtime. The workaholic is at a loss because he never gets a specific job and canāt get past level two of their game.š Peiās special assistantās eye rolls make him grin and become more audacious in hiring techniques. He is still trying to figure out how Lonely Road became successful and asks his friend why. He was told because of the rebellious streak in gamers. So after brainstorming with his friend the next game will be Divine General Pact.

No wonder Tiaga doesnāt want to go home. He relates most to his momās cooking and this brings back fond memories. His older brother is the dutiful son and man of family since dad passed. He resents his brother leaving to āfind himselfā while he has taken on the family responsibilities. This shows clearly when he canāt have a nice thing to say to his brother except add salt to the wounds for not living up to the running hype of an athlete and calling part time work in a restaurant progress. Even his momās attempt at comforting as he was leaving showed how little expectation she had of him excelling in anything. Rinās experience is similar. She has a career she wants, but she does not excel in that field. Her mom means well, but she wants Rin to lose her āhobbyā and get a stable job even if her daughter hates it. She also wants to match her with a nice Korean boy. I enjoy how Tiaga and Rin share food, customs and support each other. Her warm flavored candy proved to be a comfort for him too. His boss is training him to run his own restaurant. He sees a capable person and he shares his experiences with Tiaga. A friend brings someone with him that is interested in Taigaās cooking. A path of cooking for athletes may be opening up. This drama moved the romance too quickly, but itās doing a nice job of showing how they learn about each otherās heritage through food and their growing appreciation of each other for just being who they are.

BeiLu saves the day in this episode. The tracking device arrives at just the right time for time administration to intervene. It is not revealed what caused the lapse on their side that allowed Feng house take advantage. The administration now has to catch up on all the history nodes that were contaminated by the artifact thieves. BeiLu was allowed one visit with BiZhi in the past as Ziyi. The handshake rather than bow let BiZhi remember him. BeiLu is in the hospital recovering from a car accident. His parents are alive and his friends are changed for the better. They are the selves they would have been had the car crash of BeiLuās parents not occurred. The vet clinic has a more orderly run of things and BeiLu is a calmer more self assured person than we saw in the beginning. Miao Tong and assistant are both back together and her village was saved. They are wrapping that up and she now is going to stick with him the way he did with her previously. BiZhi makes one last visit to BeiLu. He sees that history has righted itself and he can be happy for his friend. This ends the show with a slight possibility of a sequel. I would love a season two that brings our friends back together.

Miao Tongās aide has been sentenced to her village pre plague with his memory gone. They learn the auction house poisoned the well and BeiLu is there to try to rescue him. The time administrator injures them all but not prior to the well being poisoned. This interference gets BeiLu stabbed. Now we know that Ziyi sacrificed himself to get the jade to BiZhi. This was a shocking blow to him and Caiwei but the butterfly ring proved it was the truth. Miao Tong knows she is in the wrong side and tries to plea for BiZhi. Ningās group will settle for no less than the jade and BiZhi has them at a stalemate threatening jade shatter if weapons not lowered.

BeiLu is trying to get to the timerift marketplace to warn BiZhi that Ning is searching for him. BiZhi has heard the backstory of the market lord and promised to look into what happened to her village. The back story of the Dashun jade was a path of betrayal. A greedy thief was selling artifacts on the sly and then stealing them again for the warehouse. Ning was pushed off a cliff because the friend she was trying to rescue did not want to turn himself in. She lost her leg as a result. This made her willing to give harsh punishment to the seller that accidentally revealed location of goods to BiZhi. We also see the relationship of the market lord and her aide. He persuaded her to leave her time to be a time administrator and then stayed with her in the market place. BeiLu is intensifying his efforts to find entrance to the time rift market to warn BiZhi . BiZhi is working from his time to stop the thieves from collecting rare artifacts by killing the owners/creators in their time eras and selling these items in exclusive auctions to future buyers.

Mr Dong is fortunately an idiot and the thieves steal his painting while he loudly mourns the room with sever water damage. BiZhi knows by the meeting location he is dealing with unscrupulous thieves. They know how to thwart the time administration by finding loopholes in history to remove items to form specific sets for avid collectors. They have warehouses in various eras to keep their collection from being discovered. BiZhi brought a good fake and then challenged them with how they acquired their pieces. They go quiet when he brings up the Dashun jade. He is incensed when he realizes his friend and aider were most likely killed by this group for the jade piece. They use a time weapon that should have killed him but he actually survives the attack. He finds himself in the time rift market with the market lord looking after him. Because this group is militant, her aide refuses to assist and she has to get BiZhi out before he tattles to the time administration for disciplinary action. Ning takes it to BeiLou because that is the era she remembers them in. She is going to get nasty with a needle but her handy butterfly ring revealed he was telling the truth. They are still trying to figure out how to locate BiZhi. BeiLou goes to their artist friend wanting to know how to get into the timerift market. He is thinking that is the most likely spot for BiZhi and wants to warn him. At the end of the chess board hunt there is a second ms Ning on the scene and one of them is a leader in the thief group.

The market lord isnāt happy that she has received her last gift from BiZhi. They have been bargaining for centuries and she will miss his banter and friendship. The Dashun jade is still missing and since in his time era he has one last mission with Yashe. Through an intricate search he found the auction gallery that had it. They have the unique mission of finding pieces to keep them from being lost in time. However, only the highest tier of purchasers are even invited to observe them in person. BiZhi learned he did not qualify for the jade but was eligible for the bronze cauldron. This piece had belonged to the chess playing gallery owner. He died under mysterious circumstances and the grandson said the gallery was haunted. The family seemed to be unaware that their art piece was in an auction house up for sale. While BiZhi is trying to connect the dots he applies for their elite membership. His application gets a warning symbol and he is told he does not qualify and can no longer be considered an eligible client.

Jang Mi can save her job if she can get cancellation signature from one million company. She and roommates text pirate site to flush out the CEO by making it look like Mr So sold him out. They are making the ex multi faceted, but he is still a big mess of ambiguity that doesnāt prove which side he is really on. Jang Mi was successful in her work challenge and came back with the signed cancellation paperwork. Her office (except Mr Lee) is now lamenting they might have to actually do their job.š The roomies are bonding and there is an undercurrent of real danger. Actors and production team are keeping a nice mixture of comedy and drama making the show fun to watch.

I wasnāt sure until this episode if I wanted to watch this drama. Jang Mi is finally making some progress in determining the whistleblower as well as discovering who has the ledger that was missing. She manages to circumvent a 3 billion trade āerrorā that now has her job on the line. Her ex is the one that is all for canceling her rather than the true culprit. Her real supervisor was successful in keeping her cover during the investigation, but she is now eye to eye with her ex at the disciplinary hearing that is supposed to end her job. I am not really wanting to see them as a couple any time soon. She is a paladin finance supervisor with a strong sense of right and wrong and she doesnāt veer left of that line. Her ex, on the other hand, has already shown that he can give a blind eye even when a death was involved, accept that that choice dissolved their relationship, and is ready to sacrifice the lowest link instead of the guilty party. I would much rather see her figure out this case than get back together with this gray character. I am waiting to see if they have her work with her roommate to locate the slush fund.

Their day at the park for inspiration before he had to leave.š„° I liked how Yu circled around to kiss Xiu goodbye. Those big teary eyes said it all. When he asked for three words I wanted her to say come back soon. These two know how to spar lovingly. š„° He got her a desk and chair that is perfectly sized just for her. She is working hard on her project and a bit nervous, but the excitement was the best part. I loved his response to Ms Zhou when she said too bad he didnāt get to see her presentation. That was a beautiful answer.š„° Zhao and Gong are planning phase 2 of their businesses. Zhao likes them being neighbors.šI loved his book surprise and his answer for when he got it. As I equally loved his response for when he left the states. š„° He did do the right thing going as he was basically being the executor of his fatherās estate and getting his motherās finances in order. I am not particularly impressed she divorced the ogre that killed her husband and estranged her son. She and Zhen should have walked out in the sunset seeking their better selves. I was real happy when Yu said eloping.š„³ Too bad he had a different definition of that than me.šš¤£This is currently his tallest building with a beautiful view of the city. I see her wish granted of annual visits to appreciate the view and each otherās company. I have to admit satisfaction that the only pictures on his desk were them as a couple overlooking the city and Yu with his dad. I especially enjoyed this episode because his mom wasnāt in it. I absolutely loved this drama. It was well written, well paced and well acted. Kudos to actors and production team for such a beautifully told story. Do I recommendā¦absolutelyā¦do I wanna watch againā¦absolutely. Get your favorite snack and movie friend to binge this and laugh and cry with these wonderful characters. ps. Be sure to watch after credit scene š„°šā¤ļø

Yu kneeling by her at the hospital and her motioning him to bed for snuggle time. š„°I am annoyed that mom was there at the memorial. Yu of course forgives her because that is what he does. But that he is going overseas with her, spending time separated from Xiu, and that she talks of planning their wedding annoys me. šššThe meeting of the father in lawš¤£š Donāt forget the dad still has swag.š¤£š The thought bubble conversation of how to get dad to stop playing chess. š¤£ The past can finally be let go as they now know the complete truth and that Yuās dad also sacrificed to try to make that happen. Xiu gets herself in a bit of trouble with not seeing marriage in the near future. This has Qin game play trying to outwit each other.š¤£š This is so like them and enjoyable to watch. She is being given a chance to be head of a new project and she is wanting to work on it without Yuās refinement steps. Shen wants to meet. I appreciate Xiu accompanying Yu. There is a game of them playing and when Zhen loses he says it is ok to start over. He is thoughtful as he realizes he was never considered a rival. I like that he gives back the name Qinās father made for the company. After quoting Xiuās words about reshaping the future I was really hoping for the we could start over. Yu is harsher with him after 20 years of attempted rivalry and here I found myself a bit sad. Pei is at least going to figure out what his vision is and it will not be a by product of his dadās endeavors. Elder Pei has a list of charges pending and more to be added. Until 20 yrs have passed, he hasnāt begun serving the debt he owes.š This episode looks to a bright future for everybody and finally the Sun after the storm.

The writer did well with the engaged friend. š Bet mom was surprised at this news. Gong has spilled the beans and tattled on Yu so of course Xiu investigates. She sees a pretty girl having a nice chat with her bf and isnāt happy. Pei shows up and complicates things and Xiu flees the building to be rescued by Yu. He explains and has two sold out concert tickets to her favorite group. This was a perfect peacemaker. We get the kiss in drama that weāve been watching for days in comments. ššš«£ Pei leaves the family dinner and heads to Xiuās apartment wanting a bandaid. Sadly she is the only real source of comfort for him. Xiuās parents get a mysterious envelope that reveals Yuās identity. When Xiu returns her dadās call she is lost in sadness. Yu reminds her of the promise made to get through together no matter what. They are interrupted by a call that her dad is in hospital after being hit by a car. Yu helps from the background but gives the family as much privacy as possible while keeping updated on the dadās condition. Rehab will determine how well he walks but the surgery itself went fine with no complications. Going to the Pei home the son is already developing the stone face of his father. He tells him that it was a supplier that had told on them . I am sure elder Pei was expecting it to be Yu. What is most bitter is that Pei took it upon himself to reveal Yuās identity. Even his father was surprised at this. He selfishly wants one thing for himself. That single bandaid will be the last bit of comfort he ever gets from Xiu. Right now, I am thinking she doesnāt want anything to do with either brother. It is now unknown if their project can move forward even after finding a supplier outside of Zhuling influence. What started out as a perfect evening has turned into the biggest heartbreak. I am sad for all of them. š

That hug took Xiu by surprise but she knew he was very upset. She thought angry she left on her own but he revealed he was scared and briefly mentioned his dadās disappearance. Gong and Zhao sleeping off wine.šš¤£ I think her day was spent in quiet solitude removing all hints of her husband from her phone. She can now move forward with no baggage to hinder her unexpectedly. When they get back Yu sees a Pei car tailing Xiu. I wish he would have said why he was in protective mode so she could be more wary when alone. She thinks he is super clingy because they are official. Her boxes barely make a presence in that huge room. š¤£ She is bringing in pieces of her personality and bringing life to his apartment. He now can feel welcomed home just seeing the mat she has at the door. I donāt know that Yu has had a sense of home since his dad died. Pei is looking into the financials even after his fatherās beating. It is clear he was struck with that damn golf club. He is at least looking into his fatherās activities and not blindly accepting them any more. Yu fools Pei by making him think Xiu is returning the meal carrier. Yu lets him know that Xiu is being tailed and lets Pei know this is how his father has always operated. Pei didnāt believe him but Yu gave him the license plate number and told him to check it himself. I donāt think he was aware of how tight a leash his father kept on things. The company that was being forced out is having money troubles. Pei knew the company couldnāt handle it and mocked the manager for not being able to eat the meal offered. When the guy threatens to tell about 20 years ago, he is summarily dismissed and removed from the premises with orders he canāt come back. Yu is still there and smirks while he sees the angry man storm out. He is already aware of why and will most likely meet with him soon. Pei confronts his father and finds out his aide is also a spy for dad. He now is aware of how little privacy he really has. He is thrown when his dad says the surveillance had nothing to do with him. He knows who Xiuās father is and has told Pei. At Yuās place Xiu has found the picture of Yu and his dad and has it specially framed. It is such a sweet gesture and heās not quite sure how to respond to it. He does promise a future chat about his dad. When I expected that contractor to show up it is Gong at the office. He wants Yu to come back and make some corporate decisions. Yu basically tells him the company has been his all along and he is just a designer. Gong is a bit overwhelmed but you can see the wheels churning. He and Zhao will be great business partners. The last surprise is his mom showing up with food and mentioning a family dinner. She considers Pei off the market and wants to schedule a blind date for Yu. Luna is probably very pretty and well educated but she doesnāt stand a chance compared to Xiu. Gong is laughing his ass off at his bossās predicament and sworn to secrecy. This woman. šShe has left her son alone for 20 years and now wants to play mother matchmaker. She is as clueless about her son as he is about her. He should have come clean about Xiu right then, but heās spread himself thin and not ready to deal with the family hurdle right now. This will bite him in the ass but itās his call to make. Maybe Luna will be a good match for Pei? That might be interesting. I hope Yu gets some pleasant time with Xiu before the s hits the fan. Because it is coming and all too soon.

Gong is worn out trying to keep up with Zhao. She is throwing all her energy in to making her business thrive. They are preparing for their first cooperation with the game and have board games and character props set up to give both businesses more publicity. He makes her define him and was very surprised by her label. š¤£š When he tries to deny it, she firmly grabs his lapels and looks him right in the eye daring him to rebut it.šš¤£ There ends up being a toast for the virgin. š¤£š„ He challenges her to take off for the weekend and she surprisingly says yes. At work Xiu challenges Yu to return the meal carrier. She wants him to have a chance to speak to his mother. Pei is now looking over the books. They do not show the altercation with his dad but they show him a mess afterwards. Xiu had spilled coffee at the event and he tried gifting her a silk scarf. She didnāt accept it and he is cradling that and almost in a fetal position dealing with his emotional turmoil. I donāt want him for Xiu, they are not well matched. But I really would like him to get some assist from his younger and bigger brother to deal with his dad. That man is a menace. Xiu talked Yu into a weekend outing and he is all smiles til he finds out itās a foursome. Things are going smoothly until Xiu wasnāt with Zhao and an accident had occurred. Yu is back to what happened with his dad and is relieved it isnāt Xiu that was injured. He runs and captures her in his arms grateful she is unharmed. His uncle has found the company that Zhuling wants to break ties with and they have an order their small company cannot possibly do well. Yu is deciding what to do with that info. This was a sweet respite, Yuās scare aside, but elder Pei is a very dark storm on the horizon. Yuās mom mentioned the girl and itās already established she is not suitable as far as dad is concerned. He isnāt unnerved by a body count so itās scary what he might do to get his own way. It took 20 years to get a small chink in his armor and he doesnāt give either son any credit to bring his sins to light.

They did a good job of intermingling their stories and encounters. They correct each other with actions. She is admonished about facial expressions and posture. He is reminded he is not the prince and needs to act more humble. As the widow, the prince sets the sons straight on how the female head of household is to be treated by law. As the Prince, she finds out what herb is used in the incense they are drugging the prince with. She rescued the damsel in distress and shared favorite romance stories. He has stepped in between second son and his abuse/feelings for her and is glad to accept the job as guardian of the Prince. She shares her story with him and he snuggles her under pretense of appreciating his beautiful face. They are slowly learning about each other while forced to literally walk in the otherās shoes. The Chief secretary has no depth he wonāt sink to. He has second son put in a position to investigate the Prince and his first son after Hong Si for a confession to being the thief. At this crucial time the bracelets swap souls back to their correct bodies. I find this an interesting twist and the story continues to be well paced with all the players in place with good or evil intentions
