KJ2025 Mean girl’s plot to cause trouble is very damn annoying. The Vandai exec’s have phones all ready to record what they hope will be a huge disaster for TQ and his company. The crowd has now become a mob calling him colorblind and getting more volatile. The first time I watched this I am yelling at my iPad …Move your arse SCC he needs you!!! 😂so his true angel arrives in time to save the day and he gives a very thorough lesson of historic makeup. What I appreciated most is that even tho shades of grey, TQ’s super power of observation is still off the charts. He knows exactly who leaked info to the competition What was most satisfying was him looking SCC in the eyes and telling her she is beautiful. And making it very clear he is referring to her and not the costume and makeup. TQ reveals to SCC that he figured out intimate contact would let him see colors. They experiment with minimal hand contact to sweet cheek kisses to see what works. Her apologizing for invading his space is so sweet and funny. They are not sure how long the cure will last but for now, he can see properly. Now QST is missing and LY must stall til he can return. LY’s comments to GY were very amusing. I really think his friend up on stage was laughing for real and not just acting. 🤣 QST gets back in time for his rehearsal and the event is going along nicely. The show with LY’s characters went well even with last minute changes required. WY and SCC did an excellent job and sales are showing the results of their efforts. Mean girl is the only one not rejoicing. She is still more puzzled than anything else. I am hoping she gets dismissed from the company so she can’t cause any more grief. I also got great satisfaction that SCC looked prettier than mean girl. That made me smile. But mean girl needs crushed like a bug so not able to make any more problems. TQ and friends are trying to get SCC and QST in same area because they know for whatever reason these two are keys to TQ’s mental anxiety causing his color blindness. TQ has SCC cornered, but her new tech upgrades help her convince him they are two separate people. The effort caused her to faint and TQ catches her and is running with her in his arms as the episode ends….. I am happy that he really sees her🥰

This episode has SCC and TQ pretending to be a couple after jerk husband releases photos. TQ knows how to pick beautiful bouquets, he just expects SCC to pay for them. 🤣 He can’t lie so when he said she was pretty he meant it. He just still fears her more than likes her. GY and LY are enjoying a nature stroll and FJ’s scumbag husband is recorded with his mistress but it’s not enough evidence to prove infidelity. I have no idea why special instructions weren't left at the hospital to not call husband when FJ woke up. That caused a lot of unnecessary grief. I would like to know if it was director or JCT that thought of the groundhog yell as the battle cry🤣 His killer mop attack is awful and hilarious. And while he brought some humor into the situation, domestic violence is devastating and doesn’t discriminate.

This episode finds LY seeking inspiration. She gets hit with a flying fish and discovers that GY is wooing a client. His fishing skills are lacking but he shows great ingenuity in calming an angry goose. The client is so impressed that he set up a meeting for future business. The goose and GY also prove to be muses for LY as her new character has similar plumage to the goose with the attitude described by GY. SCC is making up for lost time by volunteering to stay late so a colleague can go home to tend a sick child. She finds herself at TQ’s lab and is asked her opinion about a new product. She promptly gives three bullet points for her first choice and why another one is also a consideration. He immediately closes the door on her without saying anything else. 🙄 she takes it in stride and chooses to not get annoyed with him. When they meet in the elevator she volunteers to be his driver and he somewhat reluctantly accepts. While taking him home her sis calls and asks to meet up later. That destination turned out to be the hospital where SQL’s friend is lying in a coma because of an abusive husband. Her sister wants her to pose as FJ to get evidence and help delay a patent sale the husband is trying to speed up to hide assets. What she doesn’t know is that TQ is there because his company is the buyer. He is under a conference table retrieving his dropped pen when FJ and husband enter the room. He inadvertently becomes witness to domestic violence. The one thing that made me smile is when TQ chuckled when she started returning blows to the jerk husband. SCC kicked his butt and as they leave the building she tells TQ what the husband is doing and encourages his company to not buy. She keeps her FJ disguise and runs off.

This episode….. I was so ticked off from ep 7 and have to thank the besties for getting me to try this one. SCC did try to check up on TQ in this one and was politely but firmly rejected. She did have plan B because SM’s possessions had to be destroyed. So enter one fluffy alpaca 😄 She learns about his eye condition and how he felt about his angel. She is not ready to believe he can look beyond a pretty face but the faceless portrait showed what his first impression was of their meeting. She keeps noting her hairband on his wrist but she left that for him. She did her best to atone for her poor judgment so I have to give her credit for that. She was smarter and copied the alpaca in the zoo so that they could visit and see it had a home and caretaker more suited for its needs. What is interesting is he is certain it is not “his” alpaca, but he chooses to agree to disagree. Again there is a very sweet and fun interaction of GY and LY. His experience is always lucky and hers unlucky. 😂 These two do not feel forced like many secondary couples do.

This episode gave me first true belly laugh from drama even watching a second time. It is just that funny. SCC and best friend start off with a victory meal rejoicing that Su Mio has told off the cosmetic company and put TQ in his place after declining photo shoot. Now again TQ is interesting because he accepts the criticism and changes campaign to reflect the broadened point of view. SCC is surprised that he listens and after hearing the problems it will cost company she reconsiders. But it is conditional and it is worth the watch to see how TQ makes amends. 😂 Afterwards he is invited to the meal from hell and further atonement is made.🤢🤣 So “pretty” filter shows up to photo shoot but it is not going well. That is changed when TQ dances for her. 😂This is a must watch because anybody familiar with Tan Jian Ci’s dancing skills will not be able to contain amusement at this performance. The actress imitating Li Landi does an excellent job. That hair flip and boyish sitting at dinner were the things TQ liked and found amusing. He is showing his preference for SCC he is just unaware. The now you see me now you don’t as Li Landi swaps between characters was very well done. So while photo shoot ended on a good note, she is losing points big time with coworkers and TQ because she looks like the milingering staff person. They are kinda done with her and she hasn’t really started working yet. The best friends of main couple are personable and their similarities are striking. The same vehicle and turtle experience lets you know their stories are going to be interesting. They equally look out for their friends and this drama is so appealing because it is not forced interaction. All the production efforts bring the filter idea to life and the little details add up to make this a fun viewing experience.

The women actors do a wonderful job of imitating each other making the filter seem real. Kudos to this cast because they all really work well together. This episode has TQ in the lab having his team upgrade their cosmetic brand to better serve women athletes. He collected the data he needed by studying SCC’s picture. I don’t know if that would have made her feel better or not, but at least she would have understood why he wanted the picture. His company is prepping for a photo shoot but a wrinkle has developed and it has to be delayed. SCC’s best friend tries to bribe TQ into apologizing for the picture but he’s not going for it and ends up further insulting SCC who had just walked in and overheard. Her quick exit helped her rescue a boy in the street and run into TQ. She had disguised herself so he sees somebody else and gives her contact information to be in photo shoot. Her friend tries to call and also sees someone else🤣 They have an adventure and best friend finally believes her. SCC makes discoveries about the bracelet and they have a fun time of cosplay. While out walking she finds her sis arguing with a jerk from divorce court. He is starting to get physical and she introduces him to her kickboxing skills. She is still disguised and her sister thanks her and compliments her on being pretty. This was definitely a new experience for SCC. Here is why I think TQ is really on the spectrum. He is so sure he’s getting a call that he never asked for her name or number about the photo shoot. He’s got skills tho because his sketch of a gym bag logo tracks to SCC’s sister. In a series of unfortunate events, SCC (no longer disguised) thinks she is reporting for a new marketing position and is tagged as model. There is a confrontation with TQ and he quite successfully makes an even bigger ass of himself.😝🤬

I am a big fan of Tan Jian Ci and Li Landi. I think these two are hidden gems that are under rated and I wish them every future success.What I most love about this drama is that NONE of the young women use a fake little girl voice, a shrill annoying diatribe to force their opinion, or a fake overacted facial expression to overtly tell the viewer when it’s supposed to be funny. There is also no juvenile plunge on the bed face down beating the pillows lamenting life in general. THANK YOU. TQ’s character is interesting because he seems to be a bit on the spectrum and his comfort zone is collecting data. He looks at his friend’s phone and peruses the moments. TQ tells him exactly how many photos, male to female ratio and what makeup they use and to what degree filtered. This includes the men.🤣 He is super intelligent but not the most adept socially.SCC’s character was a full contact kickboxer. It is not clear why she no longer competes and her parents seem concerned that she is drifting with no specific goals. She has an older sis that’s the beautiful one. The sister dynamic is pretty spot on. It’s clear they love each other but the pretty one expects things to go her way.With her best friend’s assist with her picture in resume, SCC is hopeful that an interview will pan out to a job. The interview is far from successful but I love her handing that apple half to the interviewer. That made me smile. She heads to a park with a six pack and bumps into TQ on a bench. They don’t recognize each other and she starts reminiscing after a phone chat and tries to share a drink with TQ. He doesn’t respond verbally but does leave her two gifts.TQ and SCC went to the same school and vividly remember each other but from completely different views. SCC sees him as her perfect dream guy and he sees her as the scary athlete that bullied him. They have no idea how the other one actually feels and that is the scope of this drama. To see what happens when these two meet and actually communicate.SCC and TQ are gently bullied by friends to show up at a class reunion. SCC and best friend arrive and the first thing SCC does is see a guy needing help and she becomes stock crew helping him move cases of drinks. TQ is not doing well either because the guys sitting at his table are clearly underwhelmed by his employment status. SCC gets drafted to take a pic and is recognized as the sis of the “pretty” one. After answering why her sis couldn’t come she heads for the bar close to tears. Now when I saw her trick with the bottle cap I thought it was a pretty cool move and liked it. But once it turned into her being the trained seal performing for the amusement of the crowd, I found the whole situation off putting. This was how the less than meet cute was designed for TQ and SCC to become reacquainted. Now the interesting part is that the heartbeats were starting as he studied her face. This was abruptly ended when the contents exploded and soaked her.Trying to regroup by rubbing her face, her makeup is everywhere and he stops and studies her face very carefully. You can see his brain swirling trying to design fixes for the makeup. He asks for her picture and for whatever reason she complies. He continues to study it and she asked why he took a photo. His response of how bad she looked was the final straw and she abruptly leaves.As SCC is walking she passes a lady selling flowers and decides to purchase all of them. The lady sees her distress and gives her a bracelet as a thank you for the purchases. When she is not recognized by her parents as she walks by with the flowers she sees her reflection in a car window and is shocked. Life is about to become much more interesting.😆
