After many attempts they finally found one who was taking upskirt pics of girls on the train. A guy was disguising himself as female to get close to women and record them unaware. Liu Ye gets a call from home and his sibling is getting in fights at school defending him. Liu Ye is struggling to hold on as his book sales plummet and he now has no means to make a living and his dream through his writing is becoming dust before his eyes. Time agents and Liu Ye find themselves together on the same train and get the disguised guy to the cops showing how he recorded women. He denied Sang Ning’s case and referred to himself as a gentleman admitting what he had done but not what he hadn’t, tho he would accept a bribe to say he had. He considered himself and LY of a similar nature in assaulting girls. Liu Ye is now losing it and thinking the guy is setting him up to hurt him, but I think the guy at the time was just diverting attention to hide his own crime. LY’s brief moment of respite at clearing his name is now gone and the Time agent trio are having to admit no conclusive evidence presented itself to clear him. The guy also was recording not touching so it seems they have not found the right person yet. Liu Ye irrationally concludes he is guilty because no proof can be found that he is innocent. It is not looking good for any of them at this moment.

I am glad Qiao Ling was able to get to the train station and follow Liu Ye to the police station. He makes a statement but the only comfort he can take is that they can’t confirm guilt, NOT that he is innocent. Qiao Ling tries to comfort him but is unsuccessful. Liu Ye is doxxed once videos went viral. The main culprit is so happy with number views that she has a big crowd in front of his workplace to catch him getting arrested. They are making a carnival atmosphere out of it and not worried about truth at all. They have their culprit handy and plan to get as much viewership as possible from the encounter. Liu Ye already notices his new book is getting negative reviews and removed from shelves because of the fake news. It is heart rending to see the suffering he takes upon himself because there is no escape from the cyber bullying or face recognition from viral videos. Once he saw the crowd he resigned from his workplace to save them the grief of dealing with the mob. He bravely faced them and told them he had resigned and to leave them alone. He runs away with the crowd in pursuit. I respect that his boss tried to defend him and wanted to stay by him. She accepted his resignation eventually and her attitude later made me sad. She had accepted that in spite of her knowing his innocence that her job could not deal with all the bad press. They were willing to throw him under the bus to keep the peace with the masses. As much as I want to loathe them for it, and do to some degree, it is very hard to escape popular opinion when it is determined to find you at fault with no letting up. Everyone wants the hot list of praise, but that hot list of bad press is hard to deal with. His kind soul wanted to clear the air, but there was no venue for him. He also made the mistake of letting the hate comments devour him rather than just shutting his devices down and ignoring it. Qiao Ling is trying to get confirmation from assaulted girls to get to the truth of the matter but so far is unsuccessful. Here, her selfies can come into play to try to find evidence. Cheng Xiao Si and Lu Yuang are combining their talents with hers and working a timeline to find the real culprit. They are working hard but first try was a no go. I really hate they chose the gentlest soul for this crime arc. It makes the biggest impact, but that such a sweet spirit is being crushed by pure volume of hate for a crime he didn’t commit and can’t prove innocence to is really hard to watch. The actors definitely make you feel it and did an excellent job of bringing on the angst.

Qiao Ling has managed to get herself voted in as Time Agent manager.🤣 While she did butt into their team, after the burglary I think it’s a good idea for a third party to assist in an emergency situation. They go on a team building outing where everyone got along nicely except Lu Guang and He Xu. These two are constantly sparring. He Xu is definitely grey in some aspects while Lu Guang is sometimes too black and white. They cannot seem to find a middle ground and Cheng Xiao Si is often uncomfortable trying to keep the peace between them. Here Liu Ye talks about northern lights and magnetic fields which get the three others looking a bit nervous and not contributing much to the topic. After Qiao Ling primises to be at Liu Ye’s book signing she doesn’t show. I was disappointed that she didn’t even call. I know she was comforting the girl assaulted in the train, but he deserved some notice rather than her weak make up sorry at work the next day. The actor playing assaulted girl (the one at the table with Qiao Ling)was the first time I saw poor acting in this drama. Her fake lament was not good compared to the caliber of actors in cast. It was a cringe moment on a serious topic. On his way home, Liu Ye is accused of assaulting a woman on the train. He didn’t do it, but circumstances made him look guilty. He really needed a friend in that moment and none were there for him. I found myself annoyed with Qiao Ling making cutesy faces for selfies while her friend was being hurled to the floor of the train being accused of a crime. For me, this is my least favorite episode so far. I am so disappointed in the one that is supposed to be his friend. Here she is acting far more like Cheng Xiao Si.😝 the second woman claiming assault was much more believable. This whole scene is disturbing but should be considering the subject matter.

Perfect acting in this episode. We are allowed to see what has happened and why with Zheng Zhong. He did do wrong, but it was to protect his family. I am sure that he would do it again even knowing he would be betrayed and punished. Had he included Shuang Hai, there might have been a better solution and red bean would have had more time with rice cake. But as the eldest he did his best to promote the wishes and dreams of his best friends above his own. He truly loved them unconditionally and never backed down from that. Even his moment of saying not close to Shuang Hai was to protect his friend’s image and career. That hug on the beach and their reconciliation clearing the air and re establishing their bond was very heartfelt. The sharing of their wishes revealed some things to rice cake and is another full heart scene beautifully done. Qiao Ling took our time traveler duo to task and demanded answers. After several attempts to concoct stories between them, they finally told the truth. With a skillful montage of photos they proved to her they could and had traveled to specific points in time and communicated via another person. At the end, she found it incredible, but ultimately believed them. After the burglary, I am glad there will be a third party to help keep an eye on things. Shuang Hai has changed his mind and will give an interview on her podcast, so she treats the guys to a meal. I wish I could see how the ‘real’ fight goes with Zheng Zhong and Shuang Hai. I am thinking it will be one of their best kept secrets.

This time we get more backstory for Shang Hai and Zheng Zhong. We also see He Xu and Lu Guang share a meal with Cheng Xiao Si. Tempers flair when his dr and mentor meet. Both boxers have a friend Hong Dou. She is very sick and only Zheng Zhong knows about it. Now our time travelers know he is being blackmailed to keep his friends safe. And Qiao Ling has seen a mission, but still not sure exactly what she is watching. Their secret is out.

The match has started and Lu Guang can’t be found. Cheng Xiao Si finds himself a reluctant participant in the actual match. Lu Guang finds himself in hospital but with his treasure box and contents. The match is won but fraud is involved with the matches …500k is needed by the other boxer and it is decided for him how to get it. Lu Guang finally gets to photo shop and the guys compare notes. Qian Ling shows up at photo shop and calls to file a police report. The real question is why He Xu is there and seems to understand the significance of the box? There is also a mystery girl that has a bracelet like the one in LG’s box. This episode asks more questions than gives answers.

Cheng Xiao Si gets the opportunity of a lifetime. He gets to be his boxing hero believing the pic they used was after the match. But, turns out it was pre match and he begs Lu Guang to let him pretend to be boxing champ for opening song. Against his better judgment, Lu Guang agrees. However, the photo shop was robbed and Lu Guang finds himself in the hospital while Cheng Xiao Si finds himself actually fighting the championship match. Things are not going well for either of them. The actors pretending to be Jiang Long do an excellent job. It is believable that somebody else is now on the scene and subtle, or not so subtle changes are taking place to specific events.

This episode is so moving. It brings balm to the heart after the tragedy of the earthquake. All the guys end up meeting at the mom’s gravesite and while Cheng Xiao Si leaves still upset with Lu Guang, Chen Xiao receives pictures from the old camera. It is here that he has the memories implanted from CXS and his spirits are lifted. Qian Ling and Liu Ye are scheduled for a live podcast for ten year commemoration of the earthquake. It was supposed to bring healing and remembrance but their invited guest was horrible and very unsuited for their intentions. Fortunately their plans were changed for the better because Chen Xiao came and shared the pictures and his memories. That the pictures of the dead smiled because they knew they were loved. This message provided the heart balm the fathers and CXS needed. He left with the understanding of what the mission was. And while still very sad about things, he had new perspective to understand what could be changed and the comfort that could bring to those who survived and endured. The actors performance was so wonderful. You feel the grief and the sadness; then the hope and resolve of moving forward. I have no idea why this is rated so low, but it is truly worth watching. It tells incredible stories very well. They make you reflect and appreciate life as it is in all it’s flawed glory.

The acting in this episode was very well done. Everything was so happy after the game and then went horribly wrong. The anguish shown by Chen Xiao just tore at your heart. Lu Guang was also in pain because he understood the inevitability of the outcome and how much Chen Xiao Si would fight against it. When he returns he is so angry with Lu Guang and rightly so. As mentor he was more concerned with the outcome to get him to the mission most on his mind, rather than remembering the acute pain of not being able to change a tragedy. Here, he was the one that failed badly and the result was irreparable harm to Cheng Xiao Si’s mental state. He is already suffering serious PTSD and it is compounded because to his friends and family there is no reason for it. They can only see him suffer and try to comfort him and wonder why he is in such a state. He is visited by He Xu who says he is the only one that can help. He thinks it is the referral Lu Guang gave him. Lu Guang is staying close by, but Chen Xiao Si wants nothing to do with him and I don’t blame him.

In this episode Cheng Xiao Shi gets his first real mission of importance. He finds himself the weak kid with glasses who is supposed to be team photographer. In spite of his last attempt to lose the game, the weakest member actually wins it. 🥳 Here, since it is their last game I am happy they won even if a rule was broken. We aren’t told what three sentences he was to say, but he delivered the messages to the people that were supposed to receive them. Pictures are taken and the photos are changed to happier expressions because he was there to alter things. He is happily eating very pleased that his mission was accomplished when he realizes the date and what the big node is that cannot be changed. He is very upset as the episode ends.

Cheng Xiao Shi and Lu Guang successfully reveal all the devious behavior of Shang Chun Zhao. It was a well deserved punishment and the smile of the employee he most bullied made me smile along with her. I am very glad to see her get justice. Lu Guang still has misgivings about his new partner, but has to admit they are hard to find so he is going to see how things go and hope for the best. You can tell he is quite reluctant but is seeing that Cheng Xiao Shi is a decent person and willing to do better each venture. Lu Guang visits his home town still seeking answers about the death of his mentor. He has gone to great lengths to find a photo that will get him back to the right place and time. Someone comes to the photo shop with an old camera needing repairs and Lu Guang fixes it along with developing the pictures. He is becoming a part of CXS’s family making skewers in their restaurant. The actors do a good job presenting the story and production staff did well with making the back and forth time trips believable. I am really enjoying their combined efforts.

This episode is so sad. It is more than the death of a young dr. His father could not accept him as he was and did his best to make his son live a false life. But just when things were turning around for the better, the dr is killed in the hospital lobby fending off an addict. Geu-ru once again figures out the truth of the matter and gets the heart box to the right person. I did have to smile that Na-mu slept through the concert and hardhearted Sang-Gu wants to give standing ovation. He continues to become more personable. As the episode concludes he is visiting the fighter he hurt trying to wake him from his coma.

Geu-ru’s photographic memory won’t let him rest because he didn’t find a pet camera in the teacher’s belongings. Sang-Gu helps him find it in a ceiling vent. This provided the evidence needed to prove boyfriend was guilty. Him laughing was a horrible thing. Geu-ru and Na-mu give the teacher’s gifts to students and friend. The only good thing that came of this other than false boyfriend getting arrested was Sang-Gu confronting the other abusive boyfriend that obstructed his running path. The detective gave Geu-ru her card. He refused it saying already memorized and rattled off all her information. Her reaction was funny, she was basically looking like she didn’t know all that from memory. Na-mu is tailing the uncle, finds out he is trying to sell the business and that he is fighting underground. Or rather being beaten. Whoever is blackmailing him is forcing him to lose fights.

Geu-ru has connected the dots and figured out why the mom was at the bank. He is all ready to tell the son, but learns his uncle tossed the heart box. His uncle is developing a conscience and helps find the box in a landfill. The son of the deceased is a disappointment. His main objective is still the money. But Geu-ru gets him to a tailor shop and the son sees how she saved his gift until she could get him the suit. I can only hope he will become a better person. Na-mu is determined to help her friend become more independent without his dad, but her mom isn’t happy about it. Her dad is a sweet person trying to keep both of the women in his life happy. He sneaks civil service practice tests in Na-mu’s backpack so that his wife will think she is studying for a job. For now everybody is happy with this arrangement. There is a backstory with Cho San-gu where he is being blackmailed for injuring a fighter. During an evening run he sees a couple where the boyfriend was abusive. Their next trauma case turned out to be at a murder site. Geu-ru takes it in stride and gets ready to clean the scene.

GY has completely misunderstood who the baby daddy is and has a conversation with TQ and SCC and reveals the ob/gyn visit and that SCC is pregnant. SCC signals to TQ to play along and not say anything. When they are alone TQ has already figured out the situation and is disappointed that SCC did not tell GY the truth of the matter. Ultimately they both agree to stay out of it and let LY and GY sort it out for themselves because it is a delicate matter. GY takes the time to lecture TQ telling him to reflect on why she didn’t tell him she was pregnant. He later gets to reflect on his own words when LY reveals the truth. I think the questions he asks her are on point. They don’t put her on the spot or address the baby at all. He just wants her to take their relationship day by day and not overthink the future. He respects the conditions she put on their relationship but does share how well his single mother did with him. He doesn’t press but gives her another perspective to consider. Big sis overheard them when GY thought SCC expecting, and rather than checking with her sister to see how she’s doing, she runs and tattles to mom and dad.😝 TQ takes everything in stride but against SCC’s wishes tells the family the truth of the matter. Big sis saves a bit of face from prior childishness by stalling the parents so they can’t interrupt LY and GY’s conversation. SCC is still hesitant about wearing makeup after filter experience and TQ puts it in perspective for her so she’s more at ease with wearing it again. At work, colleagues are calling out what makes each other pretty. 😆 They have another board meeting where plans for their shop will include 3D tech for customers to virtually try on different looks to consider purchases. TQ is very proud of his lovely fiancée. 🥰
