The peak tension for EP29 kinda fall flat for me. I don't get why at the end WZ seems like blaming MZY. It's clear that Changxi Palace was led astray by their impression towards demon but it's not their fault and they admit their error. WZ should have some conflicted feeling towards MZY now that she knows the Infant Core that caused MZY's parents death is inside of her, if she's really love him, but her response seems like "you disappoint me". Maybe she was blaming him for not saving her fast but he did save her in the end. And I was annoyed that for a long time MZY was just stress watching what happen to WZ then suddenly he did a spell that able to summon the artifact. If he keeps trying from the beginning then one of the spell works, I would have accepted it. I don't know what the director did here.

He could have simply brush it off as no fight as there're many evidences that girl was more physically aggressive with him but he's very aware and try to reflect that maybe there was misunderstanding that he hurt her physically. This also contributes to low rating. FIYS and ALP teams are very good because they prioritize plot and minimal interference from platform. But FIYS producer is hardly on demand because of this I think. If you want to be booked, you have to bow to platforms and investors demand. That's the cause of decline in cdrama. In the past we could see multiple actors playing lead, now it's too homogenous, it keeps repeating same face. That's the downfall of traffic monopolizing.
