I don't get it. You were clearly moved by this drama WAY more than me, yet I'm rating it way higher than you :) "predictable plot"....lol. You know this is a cliche, right? It's kinda the point^^ kdramas are not the place to go if you want originality...anyways I enjoyed reading your review. I didn't mind Uee was always in tears. Her character is dying from cancer. I wouldn't call her pathetic.

Title The Promise Spoiler
this is soo unsatisfying. Se jin escaped her ruin unscathed once again, >(
Se Jin is not as stable as she once was though. If she's not screaming or throwing a tantrum, she's plotting like a lunatic. The girl is unhinged, so arguably Na Yeon's plan has already worked...just need to drive the knife in and make her completely come undone. Yu Kyung will just keel over and DIE, lol

He's only two years younger than Hwang Jung Eum, if at age 29, he can't act like an "adult" then when can he? :)

Se Jin is unravelling fast. The girl drinks like a fish and is becoming a demented harpy. She was quick to divorce the first husband, so why not this one? Na Yeon's game is clever though. Make the daughter unravel, and the mother will soon follow.

Ah. The classic sign a korean leading man is into you. He pulls his car to the kerb and tells (no, demands) -…
It's a trope I don't care much for. I will pissed as heck if that happened to me and never trust that person again. He's basically saying "I can dump you in the middle of nowhere like trash, make your own way back home." Shows how little he cares about what'll happen to you...

Could anyone please write me a spoiler wether the synopsis is correct and Na Yeon is the one who dies?
The synopsis isn't correct. I'm tired of seeing that lie, so I submitted a new one. If anyone wants to improve on it, be my guest. To answer your question Na Yeon isn't the one who dies - and that's not even a spoiler, because a quick google search will tell anyone who wants to know KBS released a summary saying who will die from the beginning. Someone just made a major cock-up when translating it.

Whaaaat....it's going to take place over five years, with five seasons planned? This will revolutionize kdramas. Part of what makes them sweet, is the shortness! lol.

I did! I watched the first 3 episodes. They sacked the lead actress after 1 ep, and replaced her with a new one. It was kinda funny how they did it though. Old actress sits on make-chair, hairdresser shakes her hair all over face and starts cutting - and wham! Hair flips back, and it's new actress! Hairdresser mock gasps, and says, "It's like a new person." The fact they were able to ridicule themselves like that was cool. But there was audio issues. Hilarious acting. Inconsistency....it was best they quit whilst ahead. Better luck next time.

guys this is actually a remake of You Who Came from the Stars but remakes can never beat the original
No, you're not! I also prefer this over YWCFTS. It's like how I prefer the thai remake of full house over the original.

Well it's pre-produced, that's one thing! Though going by DOTS, pre-production doesn't always mean better quality :P And sorry...I couldn't help it! The last american foray into "asian" drama I could think of was Hana Dori Yango! Did you watch it when it came out?
