Maybe it's a load of b*******s. Just googled "Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and he has a sex scene with Cate Blanchett, I mean, I wasn't actually there, when the "forbidding" took place :P I suppose I'm more liberal than you are. However since I think most sex scenes in tv/film are unnecessary in the first place, I just view them all the same. Haha, I think gender roles are reversing and there are a lot more house husbands :D And why not? Dads need bonding time too! However in patriarchal societies, I suppose gender roles are more reinforced, and women are expected to stay with the babies. Whatever! Parents should do whatever feels comfortable, just as long as BOTH of them bond with the baby :P

...yeah. Me too. Sadly I don't think people will adopt my philosophy any-time soon. Most people are red-blooded males and females, so will always have an inclination to their preferred actor/actress.

"Look. Has your father given you permission?"
"Am I some kind of minor? I've already passed the age to gain parental approval for marriage." (says Ji Hoon, playing some 36 year old, LOL)
Episode 15, and this show still keeps on giving^^

Yeah, though Brangelina seem to be doing alright. Apparently though Angelina has forbidden her husband from taking part in any sex scenes :P When one or both of you works in show-business...it's a tricky line to draw. I imagine jealousy and insecurity can be rife, but hey...regular couples can fall victim, so why can't the suctioning cess pit of Hollywood? (Not the biggest fan of Hollyweird, bear with me^^)

Didn't they have a kid last year? As of yet, I've heard no news of Lee Bo Young's return. It's bit like that couple...Jun Hye Jin and Lee Chun Hee (Smile, you)...she hasn't done a single drama since they got married, but his career's taken off! Normally the guys can get right back on the saddle, but the woman choose to stay away for longer...babies, I guess :P

Yessss....hopefully I'll be around when you're stomping about in a mood xP Do they? Nobody can fault her work ethic, and I know when she acts hyper, people don't like it....but whatevs. Still watching :) How can you not after reading the plot? Yeah....though you know what I want? Ji Sung and Lee Bo Young (his real lady wife) to star in a drama together. Not that I care about casting choices...but surely it'll be a slice of real chemistry? :)

Haha. I went to Pizza Express but ordered pasta :P hahaha
Exactly! If you love your makjang, this drama will be puuurrrfect for you. For me, I was frustrated, irritated, scoffing, rolling my eyes - but never ever bored. Every 1/2 hour ends in a cliffhanger, remember, so they know what they're doing^^ (Even though they keep faking us out sometimes.) Seriously. If you like makjang - I recommend it!

Okaaay...I probably won't have the patience then for 'the Devil'. I'm looking forward to Hwang Jung Eum's drama next month. I think it will be in direct competition with Ji Sung's (which hasn't started of well, apparently...) Gonna watch either of them?

Sorry for the late reply! I got your notification just as I was heading out to Pizza Express :P No...I stopped watching GMB after ep 4. I keep visiting the page, and everyone says it's boring :O Heaven's Promise? This drama would be hard to marathon. Too many illogical scenes and characters, and they drag some stuff out. Since I was there from the beginning, I find it addictive still, coz I'm watching 1/2 hour each day and find most of it funny. Don't think I will be rating it higher than 7.5 though -.-

You still haven't told me if the Devil turned out to be good or not!

Review Thank You
Fantastic review. I always see it as a sign from the Gods, when I put a drama on my PTW list, and then someone reviews it days after. I will definitely watch it now!

YES!! The bond between ajussi and daughter is quite beautiful. They both have thrown themselves headlong into that relationship, fully invested, and is a release to all the repression both he and Hye Soo feel. But my! When they stop feeling repressed....fireworks in the bedroom..lalalala

Whoops, I've mixed the two of them up. It's not Seo Jinnie calling them, but Ji Hoon :P

hahaha, true xD
He spams Hye Soo a lot, but I think she called him back...once? The other time, was when she collapsed, and the kid panic-called. hahaha. Poor Seo Jinnie.

When anyone calls...I swear it's the same, and he doesn't change it for specific people? :O

I want to know who the 1.7% (41) people are who dropped this drama? I mean seriously, can someone really drop…
I think some people dropped the drama because they're afraid of a sad ending :P They must be emotionally vulnerable, which is quite sweet when you think about it =.=

Haven't rewatched it, but apparently there was a lot of hand movement going on under Uee's blazer :P I mean Lee Seo Jin's hands...yeah :P

<I can't believe your watching this>

Me neither! I don't like dramas that make me sad. I'm an emotionally distant creature, that is super cynical and don't like to be manipulated into feeling a certain way. Remember 1 liter of tears? That was based on a true story, but they made that romance up - and whilst I was watching the fabricated romance, I was feeling sad, so I used the fact the romance was fabricated to stop watching :P (But in reality...I was just feeling sad.)

It's the acting that's making me stick to this like glue. The quiet moments, like Uee cutting off her hair and removing her make-up. Also all motherxdaughter interactions are gold. I shed a couple tears in ep 11. None before or after that. warrior...haha...warriors can have sniffles, right? What about you? Ice maiden or damsel in distress?

<You have literally joined at the perfect time>

I honestly hope this doesn't become a trend to mix other races in Koreans dramas as leads....I swear I'd stop…
I'm intrigued. What do you mean by filters? Are Viki making a monster profit, and treating all the actors like crap? Or are you saying, Viki is greedy for lots of money, so they're inserting western actors into Korean dramas? But isn't this is a collaboration...like recently Sweden and Denmark got together and made "The Bridge." It's experimental. Testing untried waters. If you don't like it...maybe you can just pretend it doesn't exist? :D

Nothing about the quality of acting? Plot? Nuances? You've just reduced it to race? *looks disappointed*
