Off topic 1 reply: Whoa. Thought provoking. I guess dementia is associated with older population (and amnesia is a common trope in asian dramas, god knows why) so it can be heartbreaking. Like legit everybody loves the Notebook, but for me the old couple was what gave it heart. Here, is LZW even in love with her at this point? (looks at pitchforks) ugh, I guess he was?

People do have distinctive stride patterns.
Impressive how Alice Ke can run with single pounding steps for HYX, but scurried, shorter catch-up steps for CYR.

However when she was running from instructor, and LZW grabbed her hand - her stride was equal to HYX

So all I can surmise, is when CYR has her "guard down" or she faces something she doesn't like (rain for eg) she is unable to hide her true nature.

She's almost glad to see her future murderer! Setting up a time to meet him. Oh Lord. What if the fact that everyone prefers the "other her" just seals her fate. She was depressive before, but now she's drowning in it. Before in 1999, it was HYX bringing the feels, now LZW is picking up some impressive slack. His mourning of an imaginary girl makes me see how much of an impact she had on him. Enough to fuel him to seek her out in 2010.

Nothing so far is rushed, but how will this all be wrapped in final episode?

A lot. I love a good melodrama. This isn't even making me cry.
What tipped the cake was when ajumma was in hospital, and then 13 ppl pop out of nowhere (well, some were by choice, some by chance, but all engineered to pop up) and you just KNOW, this is ajumma's great big send off, and lo behold, she passes away next scene. The main characters cry on cue, for some manufactured depth

Now in melodrama, certain tropes are always unavoidable, so u let them get away with it, but like i said - hard to sit thru, coz it's slightly mind-numbing

There are, but this is the type of romance, when they're sitting across a table, you can feel longing for each other. A hug shows a million emotion. In that respect, kiss scenes aren't even needed! (but they're there)

One thing I've yet to see is alternate timelines, where something is foiled and doesn't happen. Like so far, there is fixed time stamps, like CYR getting head bashed in. That schoolgirl getting murdered in classroom. MJJ commiting suicide. So far, nothing's been changed

HYX went back and is trapped inside CYR linearlly- but Dr is also in the past too, while he exists in present. It seems like 5-10 mins spaced out, means couple months in the past? So when Dr spaced out all night, he might have spent a whole year in the past?! So even when he came back, and HYX went back, he's still there....zoinks!!

This drama is so hard to complete. Technically nothing wrong with it. Actors are both good, plot is decent, but....but...

in first 2 minutes, i couldn't stop staring at her nose but as the show went on, i can't help but think she's a very good looking woman. Like even I'm taken with her in a non-lesbo way, so i don't blame all these guys for doing the same

Again, she was meant to die on new years eve but it got pushed back to valentines day 1999! I have so many Q! What was originally meant to happen on NYE, and how did it get thwarted. No attempt on her life, till 6 weeks later. Was it an attempt, or was HYX in CYR body, sick of it and wanted to end it herself? BUT....that class prez/monitor HAS to be involved somehow

Like within first 2 episodes, they packed so much in, and then keep building it. I appreciate little attention to detail. Like WQS handing phone over to future self.

I was crying so much in the early episodes, it was so sad how she was upset that WQS was gone and she wanted to see him again. Like her palpable longing - I felt it. And LZW is clueless. But then in the latter half it switches, and she's clueless and he knows stuff. It was so SWEET when their own timelines met up.....pls u went thru so much to be together...

Like normally I don't beg for HEA, but my heart....

One thing for sure, can't wait for the NEXT episode

Binged in 2 days, and it was best decision of Jan/Feb

OK. So Xie Zhi Qi hears about the walkman, and on his first try, time travels to the past and attacks Chen Yun Ru, because the seed was planted by his big bro talking to his younger self (maybe it was present Zhi Qi posessing his bro's body)/Huang Yu Xuan (inadvertently) in present to take what he wants. I mean, he was Dr all this time, and no attempt to kidnap/rape/kill present day HYX, but when she reveals time-travelling trick, he sees opportunity to kill CYR but denied when called back to present (that's new!!)

I feel so sorry for Li Zi Wei, for 15+ years he'd hard up for a girl, living on memories and he wakes up in 2003 and only 2 weeks passed (to pack in 5/6 years worth memories) and now he's getting attacked

I feel sad for Wang Quan Sheng as a person. Not LZW posessing him and walking him to his death, since he kinda knew he'd wake up back in his old body. But the original one, who walked out to sea and never woke back up. He was only present for 3-4 mins but his storyline was so impactful and I immediately loved him.

At the very least, I NEED a HEA with LZW and HYX to make up for it

Meanwhile, I'm gonna draw a timeline like few commentators are also doing lolz. This storyline is soooo confusing to explain but it makes perfect sense in my head.

BY THE BY - this is easily the best drama I've seen in ages. WOW. thank god stumbled on it in top airing list.

Wow, a few people have said that...he wanted to reunite them.....you must be seasoned watcher to pick up on these lil clues XD oh i'm not fussed on a love triangle either. Tho I thought Joon was gonna be 2nd guy, but hope he isn't now. Anyways, enjoy the rest of the drama!!!
