isnt Wei Wu Ji supposed to be cold, he smiled the whole time, oh is it that eddie peng cant be cold
Wei Wu Ji is a fighter. I think that's a difference that should be counted in. He's not some prince or some literate nobleman. His personality is the fighting type. He's like those cold generals in historical dramas that are cold to all who are corrupt but can show their gentle sides to those who are kind. Wei Wu Ji isn't a prince who has to calculate his every move to fit the palace scene, and so, his personality is more free-spirited but still as cold to those who he thinks are evil.
I hope this makes sense. LOL.

I don't know any drama in which the cold man is entirely cold, especially towards the girl he likes.
And sometimes, there isn't always warmth behind a smile. Like when he smirks at his cousin. (At least I count that as a pretty sexy smile LOL)
why is that the official OST and the opening/ending of chinese dramas ALWAYS have sooooo many spoilers!!! Even…
Well, most historical dramas are based off books or actual legends, etc. So they expect everyone (Chinese) to know the story already [especially if it's a book adaptation, since they only make adaptations from popular books], which also shows how they don't really put much focus on international viewers who aren't Chinese.
For this drama, they even released an hour long trailer that documents beginning to end of the story so everything is already known ~
I didn't like how long it stretched on... In the end, I felt like it was more of a drama revolving around Shao Gong and Xun Fang instead of focusing on Ba Li Tu Su. I was so rooting for Xun Fang to hurry up and reveal herself to reunite with Shao Gong...
Haven't had a depressing ending in a long time. :(
If Viki users request for licenses on Viki, rather than leaning so much towards Korean dramas, perhaps there will…
Yes, I'm on Viki haha, helping out with the Chinese dramas (; Like Viki only has so many Korean dramas because they have agreements with those broadcasting companies. If people request for Chinese dramas, maybe from just even ONE popular TV broadcasting station, it'll open a lot of options for Chinese dramas on Viki :c
If Viki users request for licenses on Viki, rather than leaning so much towards Korean dramas, perhaps there will be a more balanced range of dramas available on Viki for users to sub! (At least I hope that one day this will come true)
What do they mean by "bilangual"? Does it originally come with English subtitles or what?
Most Chinese dramas have Chinese subs because people have different dialects. Not everyone understands mandarin even though they're Chinese so the subs provide an understanding.
Give the movie a month or two for a better version.
I hope this makes sense. LOL.
