On a side note, if it's just sex...sure I guess. But yeah, this just seems like they don't know if they want to be PG13 or R-rated.

I'm not sure if it's Mew playing in a "Korean" environment (even though this show feels more like a Thai drama set in Korea than anything else) and not understanding Korean, or what, but he falls really flat as an actor here. On a level though...the dude's acting is REALLY REALLY bad. Which is a shame, because I liked him in Tharntype.

He's realized that his "brother" is fully aware of what he's doing, that it's not a "phase", that it won't "pass", and - most importantly - that he, Qian, loves him and is finally ready to admit that, even though he's not sure if it's going to cause him trouble.

Agreed. Probably budget issues. Or wrong pacing. Happens a lot: they revise the script too much, create a couple great eps, and realize later they can't fit the rest of the story within the given no. of eps nor budget.

Your hidden comment. All of it, but especially re: the ending of the show. The story was rushed. They skipped important parts. Not sure if it was bad screenwriting, directing or editing, but it's a real pity. Otherwise a great show.

For purely educational purposes - Korean/English translation is never 1:1, because it's a contextual language and words are used differently, sentences are formed differently to English. So is he saying EXACTLY what's written in the subs? No, not exactly. It's how the person who made the subs had interpreted his words. Remember, it's a contextual language, which means the interpretation of what he's saying is to an extent dependent on the rest of the convo he's having, and that convo is not included in the vid. But is he talking about his ex who's on His Man 2 and their story from his school days? Yes.
