So far (3 eps in) noone seems to be an ideal fit as a couple, for me. Seon Yul and Hyuk Jun seem to get along…
After watching the next two episodes I actually have to eat my own words from before. Out of all of the guys, Chang-min is probably closest to my type (originally I thought Chan-gyu would be it, but nah, he acts way to cutesy and childish for my taste). Chang-min's character actually makes perfect sense to me - but I like introverts in general. I understand that the way introverts behave at home, in social situations, and in professional situations can be to some people self-contradictory. People say he has a yt channel in which he's confident and outspoken. That actually also makes perfect sense. He's being a typical introvert masking his introversion by being confident in staged or professional situations. I feel that perhaps it's easiest if you can intuitively understand this kind of people in order to make sense of his actions.

That is VERY specific LOL.

The videos apparently exist, because they seem to be the same videos (although to be fair, I'm not entirely sure, it's not like I keep tabs on everything I'm shown), but the translation is different.

So the way I see it, you choose to believe the subs of a random anonymous fan, and I choose to believe a buddy who I know personally and trust.

I have just one thing to say to that:

It was just a figure of speech, I wasn't actually expecting you to fight me on that πŸ˜‰ But I do accept the fact that somebody else might have a different opinion than me.

About the vids, no I don't have links. Like I said, my buddy has shown them to me. I'm not really the type to go down that rabbit hole πŸ˜† They looked legit though, seemed like lengthy live streams'/interview recordings, not just your random tik tok fragments taken out of context. But he also IS "pure Thai", so I trust him on this way more than some random anonymous "pure Thai fan" found online. It wouldn't be the first time people "try to correct" what their idols say, either in Thailand or Korea. There are just a lot of homophobic fans (yeah, I know, it's strange - especially for this genre) who feel like they need to "protect" their idols from the "real" LGBTQIA LOL πŸ™„ Also, my buddy just has no agenda in saying something that isn't true.

That aside, imagine what a coincidence - War has to be "explained" not once, but TWICE. A bit much for a misinterpretation of what he says, eh?

Anyway, what War had said, and how he said it, pretty much seemed to me like him confirming he was bi. Idk why, but for whatever reason people seem to expect us to come out in some kind of a grand statement, such as "Hereby I declare that I'm gay" LOL. I've been out pretty much my whole life, and sometimes I still get those comments "Why didn't you tell me you were gay?". I'm like "Dude, I have a boyfriend, so idk?" I never hide it, it comes through in what I talk about on an everyday basis, so why exactly people seem to expect me to spell it out to them beats me πŸ™„πŸ˜…πŸ˜† Same goes for anybody else.

Gurll...Idk about that. He's Korean, he should know better than that. As a Korean you are pretty much expected to be aware of how your words make others feel. It's cultural. What he did, brushing them off like that, was rather rude. If he had said "oh sorry, that was a force of habit, let me change the way I address you right now" it would've been a whole another matter. But he specifically said "oh lol, it's a force of habit and let me continue calling you like that". For a Korean, this sounds a bit intentional, tbh πŸ˜…
OR he might think he's being cute and be trying hard to play the maknae of the groupπŸ€¦πŸ»πŸ™„ Idk about that tho. Sounds pretentious.

I agree, but you gotta admit that he was rude by referring to others with a honorific in this situation ( I talk more about that in one of the posts above).

He defo knew what he was doing not calling Chang-min tho. He was smart about that. He might actually be a good fit for the guy. Unless he treats this like another "triangle", which he himself has admited to have been a part of on several occasions. Maybe he just likes getting guys and moving on πŸ™„

Listen, I love me some sassy man. I like me some confident man. Actually, at this point both Chan-gyu and Jeong-hyeon still could fit that bill, but that's not what I'm trying to say.

Sassy and confident is one, BUT J-h is going too far with the polite language (referring to others as his hyungs). It's one thing to be able to recognize who your senior is in a formal situation and act accordingly (super important in Korea!), but it's a whole another thing calling people older in a casual dating setting. In Korea, looks are really important, and I cannot emphasize how important it is to look young. The thing is, by referring to other guys with a honorific he's basically saying "YOU'RE UGLIER THAN ME (cuz you look older than me)". And he keeps doing that despite them asking him to not do it.
How arrogant do you have to be to do that?
Or maybe he thinks he's being cute or is just oblivious to things, we'll see.
But damn. Definitely self-centered much.

Incredible how Koreans are boring and predictable when it comes to dating Changmin isn’t even that handsome…
That's how a lot of Korean Koreans date. 1.Looks 2.Status 3.Money and personality comes last πŸ™„ That's the reality of things. And you saying Chang-min is not handsome is your personal opinion (and that's absolutely fine), but actually according to Korean beauty standards he is by far the most handsome out of all of the guys. Not my type, but that's how he will be perceived inside Korea. It's just different there. But wait a few episodes. Personality will shine thru eventually. Or so I hope.

He's defo the most adorable. Unfortunately, rn it looks like Chang-min might be more interested in Jeong-hyeon. I mean, the way he kept asking J-h if he already had made the call, the way he looked kind of upset to be getting a call from Chan-gyu in front of J-h etc. He even said he liked a guy with boyish charm, so Chang-gyu might be a bit too straightforward for him. On the other hand, J-h undeniably does have that boyish charm.
Jeong-hyeon and Chan-gyu are very different guys tho, so at the end of the day it will come down to what kind of a partner Chang-min is looking for. Could choose someone completely different too.
Still, I hope Chan-gyu gets lucky in love on this show πŸ˜‰ I admire a man who isn't afraid to make a bold move.

Mhmm...yeah if that is what you WANT to believe 😏😏😏
One of my best buddies is Thai (Thai American to be exact, but he speaks Thai fluently and studied in Bangkok), and he was the one who showed me the original vids (there were I think two separate vids), and provided the translation. I'm not sure what translation you are referring to, but needless to say, I trust my bro on this 😏 Plus, I find no reason for him to lie about it either LMAO

Also, I agree it's none of our business whether actors are bi or straight or whatever, but as a gay man myself I admire a BL actor who uses his platform to normalize being gay/bi/pan/poly/insert ur choice of sexuality in a country that is still massively homophobic. Of course, it can be any actor, but IMO it's especially important for BL actors to speak up, because they chose and represent this line of business consciously, so them speaking up has more relevance. I appreciate a man who stands up for his people.

Fight me on this, but it seems to me like quite a few female BL fans wouldn't actually want to learn that their favorite BL actors are gay πŸ™„πŸ˜

There are two dramas with the same storyline.
En of love: Love Mechanics (the old one, 4 eps)
Love Mechanics (10 eps, a new, better filmed, more extensive version - being released right now)
Basically the second drama is a remake of the first. Just way better and longer.
