You're so foul for this.....The snort I left out ππYeah there was zero and i mean ZERO sensuality during…
π I wish GMM had called me before they decided to wrap up on casting for this show, for some of that truth π Cuz I have ISSUES, man. For now, aside from KinnPorsche, my only hope for 18+ content is Love Mechanics, although we've already seen probably the only semi-hard scene that this show is going to offer. At least it wasn't bad at all in terms of chemistry πAlthough...I still have some hope π€πΌ Tbh, I had high hopes for both of these shows, Unforgotten Night and Check Out...πYeah.

LMAO @B_100_Hyun, you had me at the comment about his face ππ For one, Kamol looks like he's more afraid of that whip than Kim π I mean.... for a "hard" BL, the only thing that's hard in this show is watching the sex scenes without second-hand embarrassment. Also, can't agree more on the Check Out comment. An episode more at this pace and I'm going to check out from that series altogether π
Where do I start.... 1. The sex scene was lame af. After watching it I'm pretty sure that both the screenwriter AND the actors are all virgins, and they probably think bdsm stands for boy doesn't shag much πBruhh....this was so forced, and not in the good way, if you know what I mean π 2. For real tho...the actors looked constipated throughout the whole damn sex scene. 3. Screenwriting is all over the place. The director slept in school and watched too many low-budget MVs. 4. No chemistry between the MCs. The supporting female actresses have more flavor than the MC top, who btw behaves more like a spoiled brat than a mob leader he's apparently trying to beπ 5. I know a lot of people are going to say that it's so great that the top had asked for consent multiple times. On a level tho....a mob gangster that's interested mainly in bdsm asking like that is so unrealistic that it became cringey. 6. WHAT'S WITH THE FAUCET?! You tryin to kill me bro?ππ
Wow. It feels like everyone has been recommending this show to me for a while now, but I was somewhat hesitant to watch it. Honestly, I am so happy I waited (unintentionally, but still) until Pride Month. This show actually means something to me. This is the best f*cking BL I have ever seen. Actually, one of the best shows overall. Bruh...I live for the story, but the message they send is a whole mood. One word: inspirational.
To me that nervousness at the start of the show seemed more like a (non-toxic) straight guy being uncomfortable…
I think it comes from you possibly being brought up in a different culture. Which is perfectly fine, but it might mean that you are going to have trouble with understanding how Koreans behave and think. Very often it's very subtle. A lot of things are never said out loud. For Koreans, one of the biggest virtues is empathy. Korean good manners to a large extent equal to anticipating what the other person might feel or think, and acting in a way that won't inconvenience them. I think this show portrays the Korean way of being rather well. But it might be more difficult to understand for somebody brought up in the Western culture (but not only), where things have to be said out loud, and expressed fully, where the emphasis is on effective communication, instead of active listening and observing. Neither is better or worse, they're just cultural differences.
Frankly, I don't really understand the comments that say "this show sucks because a lot of screen time is dedicated to m/f relationships, and there has not been any progress in the BL relationship for the whole series". First of all, it's a Korean show. Koreans tend to be very reserved at first. A lot of things aren't really said, until they are (if they are at all, cuz bruh...sometimes it's a whole world of pain). If you want to watch full-blown kissing in the 2nd episode, I think the majority of kdrama might not be for you, in general. Second, the girls are an important part of the plot. Basically, the whole story here revolves around how the MC (Cha Ji Woo), who likes a girl, grows out of his puppy love and starts liking a guy instead. The whole show is full of "moments" between the two MCs, and it is clearly implied that Lee Ro A is gay. If they kissed, say, in the 4th of 5th ep, this whole story would be a completely different one. Last, the show is 6 episodes, ca 20min each. I think they did a damn good job with the time they had. It's a multifaceted story with characters that have their own problems, lives, and even a backstory.
My only wish is that it was 6 episodes longer, instead of some Thai shows that go on for 12 or 14 episodes of 40-60 minπ Not hating on Thai BLs, much as they are very often cringey, there are a lot of great Thai BL shows. But at the same time, a lot of them could easily tell the same story in half the time they have. Just an unrelated observation π€·π»
people are saying that jiwoo's feelings are out of the blue, are you blind ? no they're not! from episode 1 he's…
I think it's just that a lot of people are used to Thai BLs, and Koreans have a distinctively different way of being (reserved vs. Thai nagging and openness), which is often reflected in kdramas. It seems that perhaps some people, especially from Western societies, might not understand this Korean way of being, in which things often aren't said, but rather are implied. And yes, this whole show is basically dedicated to showing how Cha Ji Woo's feelings slowly change from liking Yoo Na to liking Lee Ro A.
We still don't know the exact reason why Nut and Tarn broke up in the first place, and why they never rekindle.…
It made sense, I give you that. But since it's a quasi-fantasy genre any other ending would make sense too. About it being good, I don't know if killing off everyone's favorite character can be considered a "good ending" LOL
This made about as much sense as any other ending would make. Since it's a fantasy genre they could've come up with whatever and it would be acceptable. But man, have they really come up with "whatever" LOL... WTF did I just watch... π
omg dont fucking watch it then , you sound like a hater complaining like you have no life like seriously shut…
Sorry for the late reply, but as a person with no life whatsoever I only had time to check your comment way past 2am...π So where was I being rude? Enlighten me? I think you might be mistaking giving unfavorable opinions with being rude, an example of which would be telling other people what they should do, who they are, and cussing. Sounds familiar?π
Oh ma gawd...Not again Kuea and his absolutely pointless crying πππ And the horrendous sex scene of Diao and Yi . Don't get me wrong I loved the sex scenes between Kuea and Lian, but the other couple gives me serious indigestion. Not to mention Diao's childish appearance and behavior that annoy the shit out of me. At this point I'm only watching this cuz I want to see the end.... Shame cuz this show had potential. In short, episode 10 was absolutely pointless.
It's pretty clear from their dynamic that Tofu is the top. And even if it wasn't clear, somebody has mentioned…
Saying this as gay man. I would risk a bet that I can be a good judge of that in most cases π Not gonna say all, cuz people can surprise you, but I have never been wrong so far π
But to give you specific examples of his behavior that support that: Tofu is the one initiating intimate contact between them in most instances, he's the one that takes action, and on top of that he does it in a very straightforward way. It might be subtle, but it's done with conviction and quiet confidence. He doesn't beat around the bush. He thinks it's the right time to kiss Nut, he does it. He thinks it's the right time to hug him, he does it. He thinks it's the right time to be a shoulder to lean on for Nut, he is that. The way in which he does all of that shows his conviction and how confident he is in his actions. He's not meek. He's not really shy about it. If you compare how uncertain he can be about many things, and how decisive he is about pursuing Nut and taking action in regards to intimate contact, to me that's evidence he is the top. Having said that, Nut is definitely the dominant in this relationship, he just isn't a top.
I think the director probably just....lacks talent and taste in general π

Tbh, I had high hopes for both of these shows, Unforgotten Night and Check Out...πYeah.
For now, the MVPs of this show, according to charisma and acting impact are:
1. THE FAUCET
2. What's-her-name Queen of BLs
3. The ponytail girl.
And bruh...I'm not even into chicks π
