Thanks for explaining. Well, it looks like nobody really knows or cares, cuz their reply sounds more like a playful exchange than a serious answer. But if I were to judge based on how the actors portray their characters, Tofu would be the top.
I wanna make 3 remarks. 1. Inn is one of the most prettiest I have ever seen. I am glued to the screen thanks…
It's pretty clear from their dynamic that Tofu is the top. And even if it wasn't clear, somebody has mentioned here earlier that the actor playing Nut had said in an interview that Tofu was the top. Not that it really matters, just offering some insight ;)
Ok guys, I think this show is great, but I have a slight issue here.
The casting for Porsche was beyond. Apo is perfect for this role. HOWEVER, my personal opinion is that Mile doesn't sell Kinn at all. I just don't get that dominant top vibe from him, like I should. He just seriously lacks confidence and charisma, especially in comparison to Porsche. To me it looks like he's faking it, whereas Apo is naturally charismatic and confident. A dominant top should command attention, and not look like somebody who's trying too hard. He's like one of those kids that act tough, but are about to pee their pants. TBH to me, Porsche would make a better top than Kinn at this stage.
And don't even get me started on his hair. It's like please save me LMAO The hair is literally screaming at me. Whoever gave him this hairstyle please stop. It looks like a freaking helmet. Can you imagine the amount of hairspray he had to use? ๐๐๐ I mean he's dancing and the hair doesn't even budge. I guess they left it to Kinn's hair and his freaking sideburns to help Mile carry this role LMAO.
I don't get the impression what Tofu mentioned in EP12 where all lies, I won't be surprised that he is getting…
I don't think he is Tarn for sure. Maybe Tarn's ex, or like you're saying, perhaps Nueng's reincarnation of sort, although it doesn't make any sense time-wise. Probably someone very close to Tarn.
"I want to tell them that the country that exports shows about boysโ love, has the prettiest transgender people, and has gay couples as net idols, doesnโt support the rights for those people, as they arenโt truly accepted there." (after the official SUBs) BOOM! And there it is. What we all have been thinking this whole time...
Exactly what it means. All I'm saying is that some people are born gay and it's ok. In a lot of BLs the characters try to almost apologize for being gay, they make all sort of excuses incl. the sad old trope of "gay just for you", or "I always dated girls, but now I sort of started liking guys, but I'm not gay m'kay" (yeah, right๐). Seldom does an MC in a BL simply say: "I'm gay, got it? Deal with it". I have to applaud that.
Can we all spare a moment to appreciate that TMOTB is one of very few BLs in which the main character clearly says he is gay and it's nothing unnatural ?
The way I see it, Tarn himself said in this episode that what he wanted for Nut was to be happy, so once he wakes up and sees Nut happy with Tofu, that should be it. Please don't screw this up, dear screenwriters.
To be exact there were only 2 situations when Tofu did something similar to Tarn. One sentence and one time he…
Exactly. Tofu sometimes does things that are the same as Tarn had done in the past, but his personality is completely different. Plus he would make a good therapist LMAO
If it wasn't for Mickey this episode would've been a total waste of my time. I mean, no Saint screen time, are you kidding me? The only people who are interesting in this show are Mon, Saint and Mickey. Mon x Saint all the way, bruh. They complete each other character-wise, and lift each other up. I'm afraid their endgame is not guaranteed by far the way the show has been set up, but you better make it happen, otherwise I would be wasting 12hrs of my life ๐
You raised an interesting topic. But if you're only looking for series in which MCs are gay, i.e. have had more than just one bf, or you can see that they are gay/attracted to men in general, not just "gay for him", then I believe Our Days, His, Light on Me, Stuck on You, We Best Love, I Promised you the moon/I told sunset about you all fit the bill, even though they are also BLs. I don't quite rememeber the plot of most Filipino BLs, but I'd argue a lot of them are LGBTQ+ series. Same with Taiwanese series. Let's hope the industry generally goes in that direction. The "I'm gay for you" trope is so unrealistic it's just...frankly sad. Never in my life have I met a "gay just for you" kinda guy LMAO. There are closeted gays or bi, pan, poly etc. guys, or guys who are still trying to figure out who they are, but none of that "just for you" bs.
All the dramatics of โI donโt have much timeโ and heโs just studying abroad?? Bruh. What is the trope…
LMAO that's what I've been saying... I mean, if nothing else works, whatever happened to LDR? It's not like he's dying ๐ Anyway, I'm over him bruh... Saint is way better.
We still don't know the exact reason why Nut and Tarn broke up in the first place, and why they never rekindle.…
Yes, that could happen, but I hope it doesn't ๐ I think ultimately it comes down to what Tofu's wish is, see: the last sentence of the synopsis above. So far it's been: "I want to stay with Nut and make him happy." ๐ But that might change, ofc..

Tofu can indeed have limited time, but he can also be reborn somehow. This whole show is based on a fantastical notion anyway, so they definitely have options. I'd say I'd rather see Tharn die, just cuz my investment into his story is limited. Nut and Tharn not being together is not a sad ending from the viewer's perspective. I don't personally care for Tharn that much, tbh. However, what I think might (unfortunately) happen is that in the end Tofu disappears, and HIS memories go to Tharn, so that Tharn/Tofu & Nut live happily ever after. But I don't like this ending one bit. Which is exactly why I'm curious as to how the screenwriter solved this one.
