Of course, Chen Xing Xu always have that Prince/General vibes. I think any woman wouldn't resist to kiss that handsome face. πBut why? I mean why did he reject that kiss? Why is it so hard for him to express how he feels? And yes...I'm starting to like Pei @ep.17. If it weren't for him, our main guy won't be boosted up.
Down to the last 10eps and still no confession. Why make a good drama too slow burn? As for the SC, I've already sensed from the start, it's always the wife who gives it all...the husband does nothing...tbh. I'm also for Gong. π
This started good, but dragged midway. The chemistry was there but, definitely lacked intimacy and spiciness of a married couple. FL's character is a bit off for me. Like, she could've cut off the friendship with that HS friend since it gave alot of disturbance to their marriage. Yet, she keeps on seeing him later on.
ML's stepmom on the other hand, felt like a double-sided character. Like, she was a villain on the entire series then , became a very supportive mom in the finale. WTH, she did lots of despicable and unforgiveable stunt.
As for the ML, I liked his character development. But,I'm not a fan of him not being a wife spoiler. Still prefer husbands who pamper their wives as much as they can. Overall, this should've a potential, but didn't meet my expectations in terms of the romance aspect. Yes, Negi is cute, but, I kinda don't like it ruining the intimate moments of the MC most of the time.
The finale was okay but didn't gave a satisfying vibe. Just a 7.0 for me.
I watched this for the good storyplot. Gave it an 8.5 for the hot kisses as well. I'm also watching SAL just for He Yu's hotness and nothing more than that.
I have seen Lesson in Love and absolutely loved it does this drama have good amount of romance/love/kissing/fluffy…
Oh wow! Thank you for sharing your in-depth thoughts on this drama. Honestly, it's very rare for me to be touched by a drama's story plot. Usually, I simply watch for romance and like you said, spiciness of romance with some injected humor. In terms of story, Lesson in Love and Love And Fortune got me. It gave me a different take on this type of genre. With this, I didn't get much connection, that said, felt lacking for me. Probably, the ML's character didn't gave me much appeal or felt weak for me. Comparing to the above-mentioned dramas, the ML's were able to redeem themselves in the end. Like, they were able to show what they are capable of towards the finale. Unfortunately, I didn't see that in this drama.
less intimacy, less interaction with childhood friend here because its 8 episodes x 20min per episode drama. Korean…
Probably one of the reasons. Still, Jdramas are better known for more intimacy and sometimes explicit scenes. They could've squeezed it in between episodes but, they did not sadly. Song Kang and Han So Hee pulled of the intimate scenes better.
my impression is that in china they don't see women wearing short skirts as inappropriate (if they're skinny).…
Well, in Kdramas they usually show how their lives goes by in their dramas. It's rare for me to see people in China sleep in their day clothes. They are usually in their satin pajamas or night gowns. And yes, some dramas can be silly, unrealistic and definitely fiction, but, am sure writers also do their research and tries to convey how they do things in the corporate world given their numerous CEO dramas. The only unrealistic I believe is that CEO's in the real world are not as good looking as we see them in dramas. π

I thought so too. However, dramas are suppose to depict how lives and culture goes in their country, so I presume this is what most women wear in their office in which I'm quite surprised given the conservative culture of most Asian countries.

I see. I just find it too unprofessional specially when talking with their boss. It figures why SH happens most of the time in China's corporate world which I often see in their vertical dramas.
I'm just on ep.9 and I'm really liking this. Story wise, this is way better than Speed and Love. I'm also watching that drama just because of He Yu's visuals and skinships. This has more depth in terms of the plot. And yes, am a fan of noona romances, so this is definitely in for me. One thing I just noticed. Are there no office dress codes in China? I just noticed women wear not office appropriate clothes. Same goes when I saw Esther Yu wearing back less tops in school. Or probably am just being too conservative myself. Well, these clothes are fine to wear by women in a club, party or mall perhaps. Just an unpopular opinion.

Oh, she would eventually. Not sure if it's halfway thru. And everything will be spicy and steamy beyond that. Give it a try till the end. The FL is just too independent that she's too hesitant to depend on a man specially younger than hers. But, ML just showed here how a full grown man he is and not just a boy as she perceives in the beginning. π

Love and Fortune is one recommendable. It's a bit explicit as others may find, but, if you're okay with you may check it out. Other noona romance which I really loved for all time is My Fated Boy, it's not a forbidden romance, but a total sweet fluffy romance. With some spice in it. Story is totally good too. It will give you a very feel good vibe. π Plus the ML is too hot not to resist watching. π

Aside from being too minimal. Kisses aren't well executed in this drama. You may still check it out if you want to, but would definitely push the skip button as I did. π

Lesson In Love definitely has it all. I wouldn't recommend this one if you're into skinships and good amount of romance. Story wise, it doesn't have much to offer. Love and Fortune has a way better story than this.
I love noona romances but this is not that drama for me. It felt lacking in all aspects. If you're into this type of genre, a way better version of this is Lesson In Love (TWDrama) and Love and Fortune (Jdrama). Both storyplot and romance are way much better than this.
