I guess the budget is too tight for this drama. Can't even pay a writer to get a good story and just copied instead.

I just recalled the scene where FL still ate the mangoes even she know she's allergic with it just to not reveal her identity. The ML carried her back into her room coz the allergy has already been acting up. they were eating in a dining area at the home of the FL I think where her father is also with them and yes, her step sister as well who's trying to blow her disguise.

I'm just quite unsure now if I remember this scene in Mysterious Love or My Lethal Man. Both FL's looks the same. LOL

So true. I just couldn't understand why would they make the exact scenes on the same drama? Like every detail is the same. They just altered some scenes a bit. Like in Mys. Love, it's the FL who's allergic to mangoes not the ML. The scene where ML denied his identity at the pool where FL and Song Qian's fiancee fell at the pool was also the same.

I'm just disappointed that the kisses and skinships here are poorly done. Mysterious Love is really way better and yes, the OG for this kind of genre.

Just on ep.10, this drama has the same exact plot as Mysterious Love. It's like watching a version of it. Honestly, the ML and FL in Mysterious Love are way better than this one. FL's character is likeable in ML. Gu Nian's character is just so irritating tbh. And yes, even the skinships are way hotter in ML than here.

Gave this drama a chance inspite of its low rating. Unfortunately, this was a very big disappointment. the rating given is truly deserved. First, there's not a single character who's likeable in this drama. If there would be one exception, I'd give it to Lin Sen. He's the only character who's sensible here. All the FL's are a total crap. So full of themselves. Lucky for Qin Lan to have her happy ending. But, honestly, she doesn't deserve that happiness at all. I really hated Pan Xiao Chen's character. She's so dominating and full of herself. She really doesn't deserve Wang Jun. All she thinks about is herself. Same goes with Xiao Xiao. I hate her using all the men around her just because of her beauty. I feel sad for Wang Jun's character. He deserves a better woman who'll genuinely love him. I believe Wang Jun would have not experienced such mental health issue if he was only taken care of the right woman for him. I felt PXC just used him to have a life companion. She really didn't love him obviously. She just manipulated the guy all through out. Overall, if you're into domineering women, this one is for you. I pity the men here. Except for the cheater and the brother. They got what they truly deserve.

It's a 6.5 for me for such a very poor, full of scheming claimed romance. Not to mention, this is a no skinship drama. Just a very short kiss by the MC towards the end. And yes, I really hated that standup comedy act at the beginning of each episode and even got a limelight in the finale. The story is just so poorly done.

I've always always liked Taiwanese dramas for their realistic depiction of life. But, this one is just ain't my cup of tea. Not a single character is likeable in this drama. Not a fan of Ching Fen's character. Like, she worked herself to enter HRC's life. You can never force love into a man's heart. Even if you think you've done everything for him, still, all the effort won't be enough to get his love.
HRC himself is not even a likeable guy. It has always been Rebecca for him. As for Rebecca, I feel sad for her character, like, even the man she loves was stolen from her. But, I still don't like her either.
Overall, I'm not into this kind of heavy drama. Yes, it was a total drag for me. Have to skip a lot just to see how it ends. And I just find it too pathetic for them to be good friends in the end. Why does the writer have always to force something when it's not meant to be?

Now on ep. 21, just can't help mentioning Jiang Xu's jealous meter is at par to the highest level. 😅

I started this because of my disappointment with The Princess's Gambit in terms of romance and story plot. Unexpectedly, this is way much better. Just on ep. 8. So far, I'm enjoying the cute chemistry of the MC. I think this is so far, my most likeable character of Song Wei Long as ML. Much better than Everlasting Longing. And yes, this gives a feel good vibe. Hope this will be sustained till the finale. That yet, I have to see.

This started interesting for me, but kinda dragged after a few episodes. I guess, one, the romance remains at the backseat for this drama. A total slowburn. Not to mention very minimal skinships. Second, scheming is okay in the beginning. But scheming continuously is just too monotonous. Like, definitely no room for romance. And the progression of romance for the MC keeps on going downhill. I just hope this would have a happy ending.
Definitely watching this for Li Xue Yi. I like his character here for loving only the FL and nobody else.
Not fan of FL, not a fan of her character here either. She always have schemes and feels like always have a selfish intention. not feeling her sincerity towards ML.
Another thing, I hate amnesia arcs. So,I hope this won't be dragged too long. I'll try to stick till the end to check how this will end. Will have to skip a lot I guess. I also ship Mu Wuxia and Xiang Qing Ying couple.

I checked this out hoping for a good dose of romance. Another slowburn drama. Became an official couple around ep. 16 I think. Kisses were good which were roughly done in just 3 eps. if I'm not mistaken. And the ending really sucks. Not fan of politics and gender bender drama. FL obviously really look like a woman inspite of her pretentions. ML has a good potential and nailed his role. Chemistry was there. But, romance is not the main focus of this drama that lost my interest. Overall, a fair 7.5 for me.

You may checkout "My Uncanny Destiny" and "The Killer Is Also Romantic". Hope these two dramas fit your requirements. 😁

It felt watching the old classic Kdrama themes. My first time to watch Jung Yoo Min in a lead role. She pulled off her role. And yes, this drama got better having Sung Hoon as the ML. Definitely another green flag role for the ML. Storyplot was really good. I love the fantasy element in the story though, it wasn't the focus. I also loved the fast paced romance. Like, we got a good kiss as early as ep.2. Antagonists were able to pull of their roles too. Though, there were no character growth among them. It got a bit drag for me midway. The revelation of FL's true identity took sometime. I was hoping for more sweet moments by the MC. The supporting casts did great too. Specially, ML's sister and cousin. ML's entire family is a green flag as well, except for the elder stepbrother.
I think Yoo Ra got away from her wrong doings. Like, she didn't receive any punishment at all.
I was kinda looking forward with some missing details like bonding of FL and her real father. Even how Yoo Se Hyeok's family survived from their debts after losing his job. His sister wasn't even punished from cyberbullying.
Overall, still a great drama inspite of its lacking in some aspects. A solid 8.5 for me given a good ending.
