Definitely here for Li Jiu Lin. This drama had a great potential, but, I was looking for that burning passion as the title conveys, sadly, I didn't find it up until down to the second to last episode. The kisses and skinships are very much lacking for a short mini series. Comparing to Love In The Edge Of Divorce, that drama was surely on fire.

Still, LJL is so hot though. 😍

I'm just on ep15 and enjoying this so far. I like ZWY's character here. Way better to his previous dramas. I like him being bolder and not too reserved. Storywise, this is way much interesting than The Glory. It has almost the same presentation of violence but the injected humor and development of romance is much better in this drama. Romance is quite fast paced too, which is good. Hope the good plot will be sustained till the finale.

Yes, that fall on top kiss was our hope for the romance to blossom. And as I look at it, I think it was more of intentional by ML and not merely an accident kiss. hehehe Such a wasted potential if that's all we can get for the romance.

Oh my, I think I really should stop now at ep.18 specially if the romance isn't going anywhere. This kinda gives me The Rise Of the Phoenixes vibe. But, that one has a way better storyplot than this one.

Exactly! They can't even express their feelings for each other. It's like they're just trying to read both minds and waiting who's gonna give in. They should've removed the romance tag for this drama.

I was hoping for some progress in the romance aspect of this drama. But, the plot gets more darker as it goes. I'm honestly not interested on the investigation crime arc. I might have to drop if this goes on. Quite a few vital characters shouldn't have died as well. It's not definitely giving a feel good vibe. The only thing that makes me hold on to this drama is the cute little girl Fu LingZhi.

I honestly find it too childish with all these animations on the alpaca and other stuff. I think I've never seen Li Landy do steamy kisses. She's always on the conservative side. That's why when she's the FL don't expect to see good kisses. This is NOT one of the good dramas of Tian Jianci either.

Yes, give it a try you might enjoy it yourself. You're more tolerant of slowburns than I am. Just be prepared for a long stretch of amnesia arcs.
