"Many of you might disagree, but for me, it's the best drama of 2016 so far. Not Descendants of the…
While I think everyone has their own version of what they consider the best, I will admit Signal is incredible. I actually felt bad for not having watched it when it aired. As far as college dramas go....Twenty Again was a pleasant surprise.
i dont get what this drama is about. the synopsis sounds like a men who lost his good friend wants to suicide…
The summary is pretty accurate, it is definitely not a thriller. It is mostly about a guy who loses everything, but is faced with picking himself back up because he has the added responsibility of his friend's daughter. It is essentially his journey and his interactions with a lot of different people. I am really enjoying it.
More than likely it won't happen. However, from what I have seen so far I actually like Xiao Fan and Xue Qi. Out of all the other interactions, I like the ones they have shown between them the most. She is also literally the only female character so far that isn't looking down on him. Even apologizing for briefly doing it.
As the series went on I actually found myself more interested in Huijeong more than anyone else. She did a lot of evil things, but she is one of the few evil characters I wanted to see redeemed in these types of scenarios. Something about her character pulled me in by comparison to everyone else. I did like the main female lead, but her counterpart was just uninteresting to me, which is why their relationship became boring imo.
Just heard that KBS is considering cutting back the number of episodes because of the Olympic Games. Yeah, right.…
Yes, they are cutting the episodes, saw it coming. Ratings influence everything, and this show just can't compete with Doctors right now. Even though I find this show to be better written and acted.
It seems that no one is really giving this show a chance, since it is still sitting around 4% in the ratings.…
I agree that all of the actors/actresses involved in this show are doing a great job. Sadly in this case, the low ratings will have an impact on the show's awards. Not only that, but producers will more than likely look at it in a negative light because the ratings are so down. Just a part of this business.

Actually Signal shattered records in terms of ratings. It is different from DOTS because it was aired on cable, or paid television, by comparison to DOTS which was on regular tv. That is why there was such a big difference in the ratings, but if you look at the ratings, most paid cable shows.....Cruel City, Falling For Innocence, or right now 38 Task Force.....all of them usually had around 1-4%. They were amazing shows, but the ratings were low by comparison because it was paid programming. I think 2-3% is considered good if I am not mistaken when it comes to those networks. Signal was over 10%, it broke all the records for paid cable dramas.
Also, yes Doctors is in fact one of the reasons why the show's ratings are low. They are aired at the same time, so if you want to watch Doctors in Korea, you can't watch Beautiful Mind. You have to choose, and more people are choosing Doctors instead, hence the ratings are low. It is a KBS drama that is aired on normal television, and is aired nationwide. Episode 4-6 were 4.1, 4.6, and 4.1 respectively in Seoul.
people need to skip the idiotic doctors and watch this
Saying skip Doctors and watch this I believe is referring to people literally watching Beautiful Mind instead. Given both shows are in the same timeslot, so you can't actually watch both. At least that is what I took from it. Seemingly everyone that has talked about ratings, is talking about the viewer ratings on tv in Korea. Not the ratings on this site.....
It seems that no one is really giving this show a chance, since it is still sitting around 4% in the ratings. Doctors is reaching up to 19%, which I guess goes to show that the lighter tones are just more preferred. That and the fact that Park Shin Hye definitely pulls people in. Undoubtedly I am liking her in her Doctors role more than any others I have seen.

The singer is shi shi, but it seems like the songs from this OST are the only ones she has done with the alternative feel.
