Hopefully somebody will give the name of the song at some point... Honestly I remember having heard that song before.... Maybe in a movie but I can't remember where for the life of me...

For me Thada died in his sleep from intoxication due to too much alcohol but never realized he died. Hence he also did a reset , he just interpreted his Reset as just a dream.

I posted about it earlier but personally I loved his cartoonish portrayal. All of his scenes were laugh out loud funny to me... Not only his scenes but also Ren's. I mean they were both ridiculous. Instead of being annoyed, I personally never saw them as truly menacing ( well except at the end of episode 9) which is why the drama never annoyed me in the slightest... But I guess it's just me :D

I asked the same question because I love the track without lyrics which is always playing whenever there's some epic romantic scene... I used Shazam and it said "Winter's Glow" by Atomflow&Rem but I haven't found this song anywhere so it must be a mistake...

I have to say this...

I just LOVED Ren and Thiwthit especially the latter. They were both so cartoonish I could never take them seriously. EVERYTIME they were throwing a tantrum I was just rolling on the floor 🤣🤣🤣

I'm sure it was intentional.

Anyway because of that, although they were some dramatic moments, I was never truly annoyed by either of them. For me they were just there to bring our leads closer and to make me laugh.

This show wasn't flawless but am I going to give a 10?

They knew what they were doing. They were selling a love story with a bit of suspens to keep us on the edge of our sits. It was sweeter than sweet but I never got fed up with the main pair because they were just both PERFECT in their roles. BEST CHEMISTRY EVERRRRRRRRR. ROMANCE AT ITS FINEST.

Their lines were sooooooooo cheesy but my God they really made them work without turning them cringe ☺☺☺

Sad it's finished really... It's gonna be difficult to move on from that one...

PS: Does anybody know what is the name of that no-lyrics song they keep throwing whenever there's some epic romantic scene? We hear it for instance in one of the last scene of episode 10 at 59 mn. I LOVE this track, I think I probably heard it somewhere else but since it's without any lyrics I don't know how to find it...

Personally I think it's very clear that he loved his brother. Nothing surprising here.

Mental health is the most important thing, if it's gone down the drain to the point of ruining her physical health, she's right to step back and do the things she thinks will benefit her well-being...

She already has had a very productive career, she can leave the industry with her head held high if unfortunately it comes to this. I wish her good luck in her fight against her company... I personally wouldn't even try, these type of things take years and tend to take a toll on people and even if it plays in her favor in the end... unless her popularity remains high ( right now it's the case but who knows in 2/3 years with the number of upcoming actors in China) it will be very complicated to get back her place in the industry especially with China's obsession with actresses looking "youthful". Also Big country, LOTS of upcoming actresses.

Still wish her the best of luck... Also, living away from cameras, way better in my opinion.
I personally think acting is certainly one of the most "fun" job to do on this planet... but all the media circus that comes with it when you're an A-list actor is a complete turnoff.

I FINISHED IT! Didn't think I'll manage!

The last episode was an overly long snooze fest... just like the rest of the series. Lots of fan service for ZeeNew fans and no satisfying conclusion for the second or third couple... I was hoping they'd give them a bit more screentime when I saw the finale was almost 2 hours but trust Domundi to not bother.

The fact that Ramil's father meekly accepted his defeat and didn't even put up a fight to force his son to do whatever he wanted ( which I'm sure he knows how, just threaten to kill Paytai and you can get your son under control no problem) was complete nonsense... But again final episode, no time left, so that's one more incoherency on the pile of inconherencies. Who cares?

It wasn't THAT terrible though... since I cut the final episode in 4 parts 😂

Not as terrible as Middleman's Love which I dropped but although way more coherent than Two Worlds it was also far less entertaining. So since I rated Two Worlds a 5... because it was honestly a fun mess that kept me entertained - the "so bad is good" type. That one is gonna be a 4. This drama made me so drowsy, I'm too tired to write a review... The 6.5 review by King C which is considered "most relevant" with the 10 one at present, is too generous in my opinion ( I mean the 6.5, the content of the review though is spot on) but again too lazy to write one.

Anyway, I'll always prefer any "messy entertaining nonsensical " drama over such a boooooooooring show. 10 episodes would have done the trick and I'm sure people wouldn't have complained that much.

This being said,I'll make sure to buy my Lolane Intense Care Bond Repair Water Treatment bottle if I ever start to go bald from boredom.

At least it's ending today...

But after 2 + years of Dumundi disappointments I'm not sure I still want to risk my time with their shows any longer. This is not the worst BL I've seen from them, but given how much hype and money were involved, I think we deserved way more than what was given.

I don't want to completely scrap them off from my list... After all I've watched Cutie Pie twice, and thought not flawless it brought a big smile on my face both times I watched it...

BUUUUUUUUUUUT now, I can no longer trust them. I'm definitively waiting for their shows to have entirely aired + reviews and comments before I risk my time again.

I want Love... They give us Lust...

I think my biggest mistake was watching this at the same time as RESET. I can't help but compare the two and this is not playing in this show's favor. Especially the NC scenes which flow organically in RESET and here appear overly long and gratuitious (and again ZeeNunew is not working for me here).

I've made my point several times already so I'm not gonna repeat what I already wrote... but there's a serious problem of length. This show should have been 10 episodes or less based on what they decided to put in. I can't compare with the novel as I haven't read them but with what we were given, there's quite a LOT of filler scenes. It drags for no reason and makes this show tedious to watch...

In short... It's quite a snooze fest.

I'm sure the novels being a duology ( I bought a copy in thai so I'll ultimately read it at some point) probably has enough material to adapt in a 14 episodes series... But I doubt they remained faithful to what was written... which would not necessarily have been a bad thing... if they did something better but alas!

... I had started to write a huge rant which I erased...

But to sum it up:

This show should have just focused on the competition (and the backstabbing it ensues) and the romance...

It should never have bothered with politics. This makes this show even more ridiculous than it already was.

Still looks good though.

But I'm getting tired of all of these filters. They're too strong and the image often appears too blurry on the edges.

ALSO stop singing in English, it's F***ING CRINGE! I know it's all to sell these songs to international audience through Spotify or Apple Music but the show is in Thaï anyways, viewers who watch are into THAILAND.

I mean that's the only logical explanation I can find...

Thada died as well... So he remembers his past but since in the present timeline he hasn't yet reached the moment he died HIMSELF he's interpretating these visions as dreams hence once his present self connects with his "past who died self" he's going to understand that what he saw was his own past.

Dunno if it's clear but that's another possibility...

I think it's probably one of this Lovely Runner thing... Even if the brain doesn't remember, the soul does or whatever...

Well after 7 episodes... Something is just no working for me. I think my main issue so far appart from the fact that I'm not buying the main couple, that Grandpapa is an ass*, that the real father is a doormat and that the secondary couple is toxic as fudge is that I just don't like Kharin.

I'm not sure it's the way Nunew is portraying him or the way he's written but I get he's supposed to be mischievous and a bit naughty which is supposed to make him look cute and endearing but he just comes off as annoying to me.
Whenever he acts naughty to seduce Charan I just want to smack him and his little smirk. No hate against the actor but his character my God, can't stand him.

This is a problem ( though a ridiculous one I admit) according to my personal rules, I should finish this... but I hate one of the main character so...

Oh really... I didn't understand that.

For me she was saying that she's waiting in anticipation BUT she's a bit wary about it so she's sort of trying to tone down her expectations...

But again, English is not my first language either so who knows...

Hmmm... I've past a third of this series so according to my personal rule I should see this thing to the end.
On one side, the show looks gorgeous. As much as that Emmalian royal sense of fashion makes my eyes bleed... it's expensive, a rarity in Thai BL.

On the other, I'm not buying this couple. I know Kharin is into Charan but let's be clear, I'm sure it's more detailed in the novel, but the time they spent together was a bit too short for any of them to develop any feelings. BUT OK. Let's say it worked for Kharin... You get this emotional Charan who is baring his vulnerabilities at the end of episode 6.

I'm sorry to Zee, but I can't with this scene.

1. Because of the acting.
2. Because I don't see how Charan who's kept his guard up only cracking a small smile or two would literally cry his eyes out in front a spoiled kid. In normal Charan's way, he would have regained his composure, asked to leave and then bawl his eyes out once in his room or in the shower if he has no personal room.

Maybe that's a small detail to some but it really took me out of the whole thing especially since I already struggle with their "romance" in the first place.

I don't see where the attraction is coming from at least when Charan is concerned. For Kharin, it's easy to see he's in a foreign land, he lost his father, everybody is treating him like royalty so it's obvious he finds in Charan a bit of the familiarity he lost especially since Charan is the only one who dared scold him before... That doesn't qualify as love though bu whatev'

And then there's Ramil and his "pet". These two would need a whole separate series for me to root for them because Ramil is a vicious douchebag and Paytai has no self-esteem. Each time Ramil exerts his possessive tendencies over his "thing" I'm having a hard time not skipping their scenes. The leash thing was a complete turnoff and I'm growing tired of this weird tendencies of pushing some BDSM antiesthetic into BLs. I'm sorry but BDSM remains a marginal sexual practice, most people don't enjoy that let alone watching it. I want my ROMANCE. If you want to sell me a "toxic relationship", sure do, but do you need to go THAT FAR?

Anyway my two scents... I know I'm late to the party... I go through long period not watching BLs at all and I was more interested in catching up with Reset ( and guys THAT's what you call CHEMISTRY and ROMANCE if you haven't started it, please do, you're missing out. The villains are silly as hell but my God once you've watched that one, any BL couple will pale in comparison) than this one given how disappointed I've been with ALL Domundi dramas after Cutie Pie.

Anyway... I was hoping to catch up before Saturday in order to finish it with everyone else buuuuuuuuuuuuut I'm not sure I'll manage now. I've read the comments and avoided most of the spoilers...

But most people seem to be disappointed with the second half...

Yet I personally think the first half is okay...ish BUT this drama's main selling point ZeeNunew... is already not working for me so I'm not sure how it can get any worse ( also I can't get past the father's weird attitude, guy is too chill over everything but I already mentioned it in a previous comment below so I'm not gonna go back on his case) but we'll see.

Well you're not the first one who says they have some issues with Wu Lei's acting.
I personally have no opinion. I've only watched two shows with him in... The first was Love Like the Galaxy witch I rated 10 for both parts, and the other was Amidst a Snowstorm of Love which I utterly despise but not because of the actors just because I thought it was a snooze fest.

To be fair as mentionned，it's not that I think the show is bad. I'm even ok with the romance being slow burn. It's just that I don't see the point of having what I consider to be 20 episodes of epilogue.

The point of a romance is to see both lead end up together... Once that's done well there's nothing more of note to add apart from some fan service and wrapping up whatever obstacles they have on their happily ever after...

My issue here is that the wrapping up doesn't take 5 episodes ( and that's a lot but since it's a C drama I'm trying to be generous) but 20 and honestly it's a bit long.

I like this couple for sure... But not enough to stick with them for 20 episodes of nothing much happening BETWEEN them since I'm only sticking to this show for them... not for the political mumbo jumbo. This being said, I hate to drop shows so close to the end so I'll definitely finish it.

Though I guess I'm close to some strong fanservice in episode 29 🤣

Sadly though, I'm currently watching the Thai BL Reset.

And for the life of me, I can't think of ANY drama whether straight or not which has as much chemistry as its main couple. Every dramas past, present and future regardless of the country will always pale compared to them. So I'm not keeping my hopes up.

It's an interview about Reset with Pond and Peterpan. Both are speaking in English, Peterpan being the most fluent but Pond's level is not too shabby either 😄😁 Quality of the image is what it is and the host is obviously a non native English native as well but it's still pretty ok.

Can't watch it yet because I'm suppose to work instead of rewatching snippets of the drama 😭
