First of all, he doesn't lock her in a room. He threatens to file charges against her mother for faking her signature. She gives in and starts working for him. He's bratty, but not cruel, and she starts to like him more by learning about his good qualities, though they still bicker all the time. When she doesn't pity him and forces him to start walking, he sees her in a different light and realizes he was projecting his anger at his ex onto her. He stops making things hard on her, and they start to interact in a different way. That's when they fall in love with each other.
After the car accident, the sister is trying to convince the mom to lock her up, and the mom agrees, but before they can, she wakes up. Unfortunately, she doesn't remember anything and thinks it's the day of the interview. Mom and sister tell her that she got in an accident and missed the interview. They say she should go back to teaching since she loves it so much and sister will take the interview instead. She's grateful to them for listening to her and immediately agrees.
Sister starts dating him, and does her best to keep them apart, even though they don't recognize each other. However, they occasionally cross paths, and both experience deja vu when they do. She starts getting flashback memories, but assumes they are not real. He starts to realize the sister is the wrong person, and starts putting things together. He finally figures it out, and sister gets arrested, but mom and sister refuse to tell him where his true love is.
He follows the path she took him on, and finds the school. He calls her name. She says she feels like she is supposed to remember something. He kisses her, and gives her the little bite, and her memories all rush back. She kisses (and bites) him back.
Flash forward to their wedding, with his friend/assistant in attendance, now fully recovered.
Can anyone recommend another historical drama from China or Taiwan like this one? Most of them are too depressing with people dying all the time, sad endings, or too frustrating with everything going wrong for the leads.
Is it romance throughout or what? From the comments I got slow romance.
The characters I mentioned are not actually a couple. As for the real couple, it takes forever for them to get together, but once they do they are solid. It is also about corporate intrigue and fashion. And, being a Chinese drama, there is plenty of national pride.
