Maybe I just have a different understanding of the word "bromance". Or maybe misunderstanding? I always thought "bromance" was just a bunch of good friends who are men. But, yeah, I went in wanting nothing but just the classic mystery sort of show and I got exactly that. The chemistry between all the actors were amazing.

Amazing. All of it: from the acting to the production to the script. There are so many intense and thrilling scenes that really drive up the anxiety. I really fell into the moment and felt the urgency to solve these mysteries. This show was so incredibly engaging and immersive, it really does deserve to have a much higher rating.

I've watched a few shows with Zhang Ling He in it. I must say that his roles as Pei Wen Xuan and Chang Heng (LBFAD) is one of his best. It shows his calm, a little angsty, shy, and sweet demeanor, which is very natural and charming.
Also, Zhao Jin Mai is a wonderful and strong actress. She portrayed so many range of emotions with ease, I was really convinced! I will definitely be looking into her other shows. :)

Just watched this again. With a friend this time. Yeap. Still makes me cry, still makes me laugh. This show will forever have a special place in my heart. <3

How did you get that from what I said? If Sheruchan liked Love Game in Eastern Fantasy, I just recommended another show that also has the same actors just in case the person enjoyed watching Esther and DYX together. It's the same cast. I recommended it so that Sheruchan can watch more of the same people acting on screen together. I never said it was better or worse than the current show. I said nothing about LBFAD, which I also like, by the way.

Cui Jiu and Zhao Quan's friendship is the best thing in this show. Their banter is hilarious.

I like Tian Xi Wei's acting. I'm still new to C-dramas, so I haven't seen Xu Kai's shows, but I heard good things! I cannot wait to see how they work together on screen. :)

I like LYN. His acting is charming. I just need to know if it's a sad ending before I start the show so that I can mentally prepare myself.

Have you seen Moonlight? It also has Esther and Ding Yuxi in it. Their acting was very energetic and funny there. She acts cute there, too, but her character is quite independent and knowledgeable. Yang Shize is also in this show, and you can really see the chemistry in the friendship between him and Ding Yuxi.

God... This makes me want to see them star in a drama together. Like a friendship duo similar to Mysterious Lotus Casebook. I want to see how they'll work and act together.

sunshine75 said it well. To add onto that, Yi Ning couldn't even remember who Shen Yuan was in the first few episodes. So they might know each other but they never spent their time growing up together. It's equivalent to knowing a classmate back in 5th grade, but you haven't seen them until you're in college.

Wonderful actor. I've only seen her in two serious roles so far: My Journey To You and Love Game in Eastern Fantasy. Her acting graceful yet haunted, perfectly portraying a woman full of secrets weighed down by her dark past.

Chang Long is a very good and funny actor with a charming smile. I loved him in New Life Begins and Romance On The Farm. I cannot wait to watch more shows with him in it!

Amazing! He is such an incredibly charismatic and charming actor with a powerful voice. Every time that he's on screen, my eyes can't help but gravitate towards him.
