I still enjoy it. It's just that when you start and set the bar too high, the audience have a certain expectation.…
I see it the same way! The bar was set very high, any drop is noticeable. I also enjoy reading different opinions, it made me notice things I didn't see with my rose-coloured glasses.
Can someone explain to me the tiger talley situation. I'm so confused... Wei Qilin, Prince Changxin, Wei Yan. All these names, how are they connected to the food distribution, and what does it have to do with this talley, and how does Qimin have it, and how does it prove anything. If you can explain without spoiling, using information we have right now. If you can't I don't mind.
Now I'm confused I just finished watching ep 32 what is the deal with QI min
I'm also confused but this is what I know: He is son of the old crown prince chengde, who died in the battle 17 years ago alongside Xie Zheng's dad. He is hiding as Prince Changxin's older song, Sui Yuanhuai who died in the eastern palace fire along with crown princess chengde (qimin's real mom). So he is the real emperor descendent.
ok wtf lmaoooo I called yuanqing a slippery snake last time bc he escaped death 3 times (!!!) but him managing…
Killing him is too easy! At least not before Chang Yu beats the sht outta him. He only escaped two times no? This third time was on purpose right? But his two failures in yesterdays episode were hard to ignore `(*>﹏<*)′ One, letting yuanqing escape, and two, not getting to General He when he said he would.
I'm still enjoying. Although it's sad seeing it's rushed, I can still enjoy since the politics here is not that…
Yeah, I thought 40 episodes was long but clearly not enough for this show. I can't lie and say I'm not worried about how they will clear everything up in 8 episodes.
I don’t know what you guys are complaining about. I am watching episode 32 and still feel it is super good.…
People are nit-picky because the show set the bar up so high in the beginning, any drop is very noticeable. There are some writing flaws, and changes that are problematic though. I do think though people are a little harsh on the female lead. She isn't perfect! She makes mistakes. It is only a problem if she doesn't grow from them or apologize for it, which she already has (eg. to li huai'an today)
Also people saying she's too strong, we haven't seen any growth. She isn't the commoner they are making her out to be, she's always been a baddie, just a baddie without experience on the battle ground... she jumped through fire and nobody said a thing lol nobody questions a male lead if he is bad ass (but then again most male leads have the background of them growing up on the battle field, being a general for years, etc etc). She was training by one of the best generals, so I won't question her anymore.
Am I the only one still enjoying the show? Kinda disappointing :( I miss the days of the positive reception early days... Although, I can completely understand people's grievances with the show in this latter half. Some problems with the writing are hard to ignore.
I liked todays episodes too. The scene with her and the tutors was funny, albeit a waste of time considering how much else we could've used the time for. I liked the scene with Yuanqing and the other guy in the jail cell, very well done. I would've liked a fight scene between Xie Zheng and Yuanqing but it seems they don't want to waste scenes on his fights because "he's so good the fights will end in seconds." It doesn't add anything to the plot, but heyyy for my enjoyment! I'm tired of just seeing him aura farm, I want to see the aura gain.
I also adored Reset, the whole show is great in my books, I enjoyed the subplots of each of the character's on the bus, my only problem was the ending. It was disappointing it only took a small talk to get them to stop lol.
I find that these tutors scenes are lowkey unnecessary, FCY may be an uneducated village girl but why make her…
I actually found it really funny, and enjoyed it, but I did feel considering how much they've cut out or changed, they could've used most of that time for other things. Like I would've enjoyed a fight scene between Yuanqing and Xie Zheng.
Sooner or later y’all will realize Changyu really doesn’t deserve Xie Zheng 🙌
bruh how?! lol If it's about her pushing him away, she did it for his sake. That does come off as noble idiocy, a trope I hate to see, but I can understand her point, and won't hate her for it. Her problem is hard to ignore between them, but she should give him a chance to decide for himself.
