TXJ's weapon was nameless for many years. The name Bu'Gui appeared after Chu Wannings death. Bu'Gui means No Return, bc Shizun will never return. "Another year goes but still you do not return."π₯²

True, it confused me at the beginning a lot as well lol but now it's like little extras hahaha A agree, we had more sibling-interaction in the drama, but that is bc they changed the story Yanli participating in the studies at Cloud Recesses, which is not the fact in the novel. TU did develop more into the siblings relationships in general, same with Wen Ning and Wen Qing.

That is why it's one of the reasons, donghuas are more "save" than dramas too, ig. There are no actors who could be shipped or would start fan-wars or would raise any public scandals, VA's are rather "uninteresting" as for that (maybe not in Japan though, I think). There are no "real" people who could cause any troubles. Giving the circumstances, MDZS s3 for example gives me little heart attacks with every new episode when it comes to BL content, so I really don't think, they will be affected but anything that's going on rn. At least not for the donghuas that are meant to come out this year.
So I was just curious. How nuch did you all cry while reading this novel?
Too often?! Internally every now and then, but actual crying? When Mo Ran was told by Xue Meng about Shizun's death, then again when he was beside his coffin, at the Wonton scene, when Chu Wanning died in the first time-line, when Mo Ran named Bu'Gui, when Nangong Si died and literally reading through 90% of book III - Book III destroyed me, no kidding T_T But that was at first time reading, I tried reading it again, and I head a mental break-down at chapter 1 already. Ig I 'll wait till Suika's tl is finished, before re-read and till then re-expirience it with Ty's videos π₯²
As for where I read, I usually find novels either on Novel Updates, sometimes though I roam through the websites of the translators, like Chrysanthemum Garden, bc they may have some Novels in translation that are not listed on NU (yet) :)
Local clown Yan Wushi stalking and molesting poor Shen Qiao πThanks for the link! Hella nice
I don't mind minor spoilers so much, but when it's a big one (and this one was big) I hate it. It just ruins the thrill of reading, bc I'm only thinking, "yeah, so when do we reveal this mystery that I already know, so we can move on to something that I don't know yet?" YES DONGHUA! XD

Yeah, the donghuas really saving us here ... As for YWS ... I only read until chapter 10 or so but was months ago. Back then the TL wasn't finished. Unfortunately I stumbled upon a major spoiler, which is why I didn't continue reading it and put it on hold. But it does explain a lil bit about YWS's behaviour ... or not idk lol I will have to wait for the donghua to continue.
you can also try 'The Silent Criminal' lots of bromance and if you wanna see it has friendship then that's cool…
Did you by any chance watch The Birth of The Drama King? I watched the first episode and I can't tell yet if I really like it or not, but it was funny and Song Ji Yang plays a supporting role in there too
Is Wuxia/Xianxia ok too? I haven't watched many C-Dramas so far, but I'd recommend watching Word of Honor and…
I liked Dream of Eternity a tiiiiiny bit more than the other one tbh but I have to say, both movies stunned me with their CGIs! Never expected that from a c-movie or drama and it put my expectations for HYX, WIK and EF higher π
Do y'all have any other historical cdrama recommendations that focus on friendships ? I need to keeps my self…
Is Wuxia/Xianxia ok too? I haven't watched many C-Dramas so far, but I'd recommend watching Word of Honor and Douluo Continent. Also I recommend the two short-movies Wuliang and Painted Skin, and the two "The Yin-Yang-Master"-movies. I heard "Winter Begonia" shall be good too, plan to watch it in the near future as well :)
