Chu Xuan Ji and Yu Si Feng comes from two different sectors. Xuan Ji is the daughter of the leader of Shaoyang who vowed to protect the mortal realm from demons while Si Feng is the chosen successor of the Lize Palace who are blindly corrupted by demons. During an annual competition among the sectors, a series of unfortunate events happened that forced Xuan Ji and Si Feng together with the others to fight an enemy and stop an event that will create another war between mortals, gods, and demons. In this journey they will also fall in love, face trials together, and discover the secret about their true identity.

The romance here is complicated. The show did a great job at showing the contrast between a pure love and a possessive love. But, both kinds of love have a common point in the story, which is that people will sacrifice anything for the people that they love. Whether it is good or bad. There are moments that are painful to watch, but it is also filled of cute, funny, and heartwarming scenes.

I find the ending satisfying because everyone got the ending that I feel they deserved. Sorry if this is a long response. But, I hope I answered some of your questions.

Interesting. I feel the opposite way. The way Junnosuke naturally fell for Nami, I also felt that way with Nakazawa. Although they didn't have a lot interactions, i felt that his feelings for Nami grew organically over time. It didn't feel forced to me.

But this is an interesting take on the character.

I think we can collectively agree that Minami and Kenshi need to have their own drama. I don't care what genre it is. I will watch it.

I wish they didn't use the "I'm just kidding" cliche for Nakazawa. It feels so out of character or maybe I just expected anything but that excuse. Nevertheless, my heart still aches for him.

Wow! What a journey. This drama is the manifestation of overthinking at its worst. It will teach you how overthinking, greed, and lack of communication could lead to suffering and destruction. The lessons are clear and deep. Absolutely adored the performances of the cast. LORD FLYING SNAKE IS A GEM.

Right. It's disappointing. She could have been the greatest enemy for Shi Yi.

Right now Liang Fiang is just delusional, and it's not helping that the people around her keeps feeding her delusions w/ch only creates this false sense of confidence and arrogance.

I hope that she will get a grip of herself soon and plan her schemes properly. Like girl have u forgotten that your reputation was tainted? Fight harder.

I can't also wait for more sweet moments between the leads.

Perfect and Casual

Watched until ep 12 and I feel that the main let down for me so far is that none of the other women in the story are competent enough to stand against the FL. I don't have a problem about harem politics, I just wish that they could make the fighting a bit compelling. Like give me a character that can fight smarter as Shi Yi. Does that makes sense?

Other than that, I love the chemistry between the leads and will continue to watch it because of that reason.

I wasn't entirely impressed by the first episode but I'm willing to continue this because I like the acting so far.

My reality is currently blocked off because of this drama. It's all I watch all day. I love all the female characters so far and everyone is attractive and I can't stop watching this. I'm obessed.

I'm curious how they are going to pull this off. Two elements that I will be extremely looking forward to is the actors and the director because this drama is well-acted and directed.

I'm loving the balance of comedy and drama in here. I see that the writer has a great sense of timing. The opening scene in ep. 5 was hilarious and brilliant. I love it.

To anyone who hasn't seen the FL in any drama, go watch her in Be Melodramatic. Try it if you're interested. It's actually an amazing show.

Reiko thanking Nami is the moment that I have been waiting for in this drama! This is the development in Reiko that I have been waiting to happen. We finally get to see how Nami's presence influences Reiko's perspective. It's a significant moment in their relationship. I hope to see their relationship develop more in the second half of the drama.
