Do-gi: "I'm applying for a return." Tosses his phone on the ground next to his taxi. Go-eun, upset that Do-gi isn't answering his phone, she [alone] takes her "Rainbow" motorcycle out of the secret garage. TWO weeks later: Go-eun, Gyeong-gu and Jin-eon locate the taxi. Go-eun immediately searches for CCTV cameras.
I'm glad that it was Go-eun who was determined to find Do-gi. They care about each other more than anyone else. But I'm still miffed after the Season 2 hints that the two did indeed have a close bond ["deeper than family", according to Lee Je-hoon], they mocked it in Season 3, esp. Ep. 14. Ah well. . . . .
Instead of alloting Four episodes for the match-fixing case they should have given it to military assault-case…
Based upon a handful of vague comments in the teaser (not to mention the location of the island in Ep. 13/14), I'm beginning to wonder if the bad guy is N. Korean? OR, a traitor supporting N. Korea?
I agree with you - Two episodes is not nearly enough time to investigate the "worst of the worst" villain AND provide meaningful revenge AND end with a satisfactory, non-rushed high note closure with the assembled Rainbow Crew.
I found out late that this is on Viki - I've watched about 1 1/2 eps and Ji Sung never fails to entertain. Couldn't figure out where/how I had seen Park Hee Soon, but I guess it was "Confidence Queen". What a difference.
Thus far, FL does not inspire. I hope the two leads don't form any sort of romance.
The character chart for this drama is crazy as F. I'm going to root for the "wife" - if her character is the same cardboard/frigid woman in 2025 as 2035, I'll be unhappy because her character is then meaningless.
If seo jihoon is in it , it means his character will definitely be sad and die 😭
the PR says he will play a character that is quite different from his usual role (which tend to be puppy-dog eyed, honorable 2ndML). I think he's going to be the new "Gwinam-type" character. Which, yes, means he will die. 😒
Kim Jong Soo is final boss, ooo. Loved him in the manipulated
according to Namu Wiki, his character is "Oh Won Sang".
SBS heavily promoting the last two episodes as momentous for Do-gi and the Rainbow crew.
Also, from SBS PR: [ActorKim Jong-so's] Sitting in the car on a dark night, he stares at something outside the car window with his tightly closed lips, and his suspicious eyes stimulate the curiosity of the viewer. Moreover, the heavy and secretive aura that emanates from the whole body overwhelms the viewer and foreshadows the sortie of the 'great evil' that will shake the drama to the fullest.
What did happen to the perpetrators at the end of episode 14? Are they all dead? How did reporter Go explain all…
I'm also rather disappointed. In Season 1&2, the villains did not perish at the hands of the Rainbow crew. Some may have died due to their stupidity, but not intentional by Rainbow Crew. Lee Ji Hoon promised a "darker" Season 3, but I didn't expect this.
Nevertheless, 4 of the villains in Ep. 14 were trying to kill Do-gi, so self-defense is always justifiable. And it was worth how the entire crew came together and scammed the villains. As for Writer Go? He seems so similar to Matsuda (Japan) - adjacent/callous towards murder but such a pitiful person. Matsuda lived, Writer Go did not. I would prefer a bit more consistency.
Main villain in Episode 13 & 14 was so good in acting. Definitely the best villain this season. Episode 14…
These were the best episodes of Season 3 because the team was together and scamming the villains. Each team member had an important, impactful job. Loved it.👏👏
I'm too nervous to watch Ep. 13 yet - maybe closer to when Ep. 14 is released.
Meanwhile, while browsing thru YouTube, I came across this video of the Rainbow crew arriving at the SBS Awards Red Carpet. Windy and cold - but lovely Ye-jin doesn't flinch. They all looked so fine. 😊 Enjoy.
SBS already dropping info regarding Episodes 15/16. Actress Jeon So Nee will play the role of Yoo Seon-ah, a direct subordinate of Do-gi in the special forces in the past. I'm surprised they aren't providing more info on Ep. 13/14 - definitely keeping a cloak over what's going to happen.
To refresh your memory, at the end of Season 2, there was a news report regarding "Sergeant First Class Hwang Ye Ri" who reported rape but later "committed suicide". Also at the end, Do-gi walked past Lieutenant Oh Mi-seo (?) played by actress Moon Chae-won.
I will never undestard the people who hate the idea of them being together...
I understand that people watch dramas for different reasons and for some, romance is a distraction. As for me, I watched Season 2 first and it was clear that SBS was pushing them as a potential couple. Then I watched Season 1 and better understood why long-time viewers didn't want them together because Go-eun was portrayed as barely out of childhood (clothing, popsicles, etc).
Episode 13 Pre-release Probably as close to any sort of romance (meaning none) between Do-gi and Go-eun. Quasi-translation…
Translation via Iphone
Do-gi (on phone to Go-eun): Baby! It’s me. [Go-eun confused “huh”). I’m still talking. [Go-eun realizes that something is fishy with the sweet talk and looks around and (?) sees cameras]. I came out to get some air. Did you bring the seed money?” Go-Eun: “Not yet. Why baby? Shall I go and bring it?” Evil Photographer Guy: [watching both on camera] says to himself: “These bastards didn’t bring the money??” DG: “Not yet” [ translation of the remainder was fuzzy – something about what “these people” believe in] GE: “I’ll be waiting for you honey. Tell me when you need it.” DG: “I’ll call you again. Honey, take a good rest” GE: “Got it. Honey, I love you!” Scene ends with Do-gi at the temple drum – apparently concerned about something.
At the 2025 SBS Award show, Jung So-min and Choi Woo-shik won the Best Acting Award in the "Miniseries Romantic Comedy" category. I had major problems with the drama itself (especially the way the 2nd couple was handled) but JSM and CWS were enjoyable to watch.
Of course, I have no idea how many rom-com miniseries were on SBS this past year. 😊

Love that dress!
Lee Je-hoon won the Grand Prize
"Taxi Driver 3" won Best Drama.
I'll post some photos. Pyo Ye-jin looked amazing.
