According to Studio Dragon, looks like this'll have a love triangle 😕https://x.com/studiodragonKR/status/2003359923099566341
Ugh. Bleah. But Go Kyung pyo appears to be the ML and he is the reason it's on my watchlist. So, what's a fan to do, lol??

The ending was kinda meh. And it's not that it was rushed or anything and everything got covered on paper, but:1.…
I haven't been able to watch the final episode, but I'm wondering how much of the rushed and/or off-screen moments were due to the revamp they undertook a few weeks ago (they delayed one weekend). The out-of-order scenes with the 2nd leads were irrationally misplaced.

This is my first watch of both the ML and FL and I enjoyed their performances. The messy script and direction? Not so much.

It's very enjoyable as a stand-alone season and very little (2%?) refers to any event in the first two seasons. In fact, some fans are upset that the characters are "different" from prior seasons. So, the answer for you may depend upon whether you watch for plot or for characters.

The Season 2 tease (in the finale) is reportedly the case/villain in Ep. 15-16.

Why am I the only one who is shocked by the swastika on the stairs of the temple.. I know it's a fictional story,…
The "svastika" (Sanskrit) is a sacred symbol in so-called Eastern religions (Hindu, Buddhism).

Hard to know what the writer is/was thinking, but if it was me, it would be a big middle finger to the West for politicizing what IS a symbol of one of Korea's main religions.

Ep. 11/12 seem to be like 5/6 - mini/incompetent villains are minor players in some sort of bigger scheme. I can't help but feel that this is all a trap for the Rainbow Taxi crew - it's just too easy.

Here's a bit more info on the next story arc according to Namu Wiki (which analyzed (i) the Highlight trailer,…
Writer-nim knows how to keep us in suspense. Namu Wiki says that the guy in the hat (seen both fishing and at computer screen (burner phone and burner computer? second-hand trading?) is the character Choi Cheol-woong. the preview makes it appear that he is the one involved with the island, but Go jak-ja (Actor Kum Sung-kyu) is clearly the main villain.

I've posted this elsewhere, but I feel that the "2nd hand trading scam" is a trap for the Rainbow taxi crew.

The military assault case is supposed to be the finale. At one time, news/PR said it was Ep. 14-16, but now seems to be only 15/16. Maybe there will be a transition at the end of Ep. 14 - they've "transitioned" at the end of each story arc.

This is the part that doesn't make sense. If Evil Step-brother wanted to stop HER, he could have simply killed HER (or hired someone to do it). Lee Jae-hyung was a baseball star, living in the USA. The accident ruined his career.
On Nice to Not Meet You Dec 24, 2025
For the 1st time ever, I FF through some of the Ep. 14 scenes because I could see that they weren't advancing the romance/plot/story. Producers/tvN skipped a week so that they work on the script/scenes (filming was done, so choices were limited) but for heaven's sake, starting the episode w/conversation with the second leads - with NO idea how they got to that bench or why they were together at that time - was jarring. The clothes didn't match anything from prior episode.

WHY do the mothers hate each other? Why does Lee Dae-ho hate Hyeon-jun? What the eff is going on with Kwon Se Na? Then ending will be rushed and I fear inexplicable. Happy ending for the two couples is a given (👍👍) but the overall plot has sloppy.

Lowering my original rating to 9⭐ (from TEN!) and if they don't stick the landing in the finale. . . . 😒😒.
On Nice to Not Meet You Dec 23, 2025
Several weeks ago, I posted a Character Description for this drama (link, if interested: https://kisskh.at/discussions/763061-mean-love/146554-nice-to-not-meet-you-characters-relationships) and I noticed at the time - there are MANY unknown/missing fathers in this drama.

And the TOP question is: Who is the father of Im Hyeon Jun. We are told that he is illegitimate (mom got pregnant and exited the entertainment arena). My theory from the beginning - same father as Evil Stepbrother Lee Dae-ho.

Why is Lee Dae-ho determined to destroy Hyeon-jun? Answer: see above.

Why do the two mothers hate each other?? Answer: See above.

The second missing father is Yun Hwa Yeong's young son. This was obvious from the beginning. 2ML is badly injured in a "mysterious" accident. She leaves him. . .and eventually bears a son (allegedly married to some anonymous nobody). Why is she hiding the truth? Answer: See above - she is afraid that, as a potential co-heir to the "Sports Entertainment" conglomerate, that Lee Dae-ho will harm the boy.

I'm enjoying this BUT - small hints (like the ones sprinkled throughout Ep. 13) should have been sprinkled earlier to ovoid a rushed/patched together happy ending.

Quite honestly, I still don't understand what's with the sudden shift in the ML's character.In S01 and S02, he…
I agree that the "sudden shift" in Do-gi's actions don't make sense. I did some research on the death penalty in "Korea". AI gave me two answers: one for the North, one for the South.

In the North, the death penalty is not only legal, but executions by executive fiat (no trial) are frequent. It applies to a wide range of offenses, including murder, treason, espionage, drug smuggling, political dissent, and even some non-violent crimes like theft or WATCHING UNAUTHORIZED MEDIA (my emphasis).

In South Korea, the death penalty is legal under the Criminal Code (primarily for serious crimes like murder) and there are around 59 people on death row. However, there is an informal moratorium on execution since 1998 no executions have taken place in over 25 years. Thus, SK is deemed to have abolished the death penalty de facto (although not de jure - legally).

If - a big IF - the various villains did in fact die due to the actions of Do-gi, he would be guilty of - at a minimum - manslaughter. But probably some level of "negligent homicide", which gets into the realm of "murder". I don't want the last scene of Taxi Driver 3 to be Do-gi hauled off in handcuffs to jail!!!

Honestly, I think that all of the villains are alive. Maybe maimed for life, but alive. He tried to save Jang Nara character. With the Noblesse Motors team, he said he wanted them to feel what is what like to be in a car they couldn't control. A sudden shift to judge/jury/executioner just doesn't compute.

Here's a bit more info on the next story arc according to Namu Wiki (which analyzed (i) the Highlight trailer, (ii) Ep. 11 preview and (iii) recent YouTube video amongst three of the actors),

Episodes 11 -14 Samheung Dopa organization - involved in second-hand trading fraud (see Ep. 11 victim). There are five villains featured:

Go jak-ja (Actor Kum Sung-kyu) – the main villain of the Samheung Dopa story arc, but doesn’t appear until Ep. 13. Former journalist (perhaps focused on investigating crime?)
Seo Huang (Actor Lee Kyung-young) – a pseudo (fake) religious leader/pastor
Choi Cheol-woong (Actor Yu Ji-wang) – former special forces; (mercenary? )
Yerim (Actress Lee Chae-won) – former gambling company programmer (possibly skilled in hacking?)
___________ (Actor Ji Dae Han) - corrupt police officer

BTW, the YouTube video has been removed (probably too many spoilers), but I watched it several weeks ago when it was first posted.

I enjoyed Ep. 9/10, but for me the best part was the scene when Kim Do-gi drove across the Banpo Bridge. It's a double-decker bridge over the Han River where water jets shoot out from both sides in colorful patterns. We saw it a year ago from the shore. Next visit - I want to drive or walk across it when the water/light show is performing.

Is it just me or did the punishments for the bad guys for the idol group story got really brutal? It might be…
Not just you. Lee Je-hoon said that Season 3 would be "darker", but I thought he meant in terms of the villains/violence - not the Rainbow team itself because after all, Rainbow CEO in Season 1 was VERY dark. What I noticed? Two confirmed deaths (the two losers in the Volleyball case) were announced dead on television. But no other person has been confirmed - the Nobless Motors team no rthe gambler (Eum Moon-suk). My Spidey sense (which is wrong at least 50% of the time, lol) says that we will find out that all are alive and justice has truly been served behind bars or on death row.

Yikes - I just checked. Although the death penalty is legal in South Korea, no executions have taken place since 1997 and the death penalty in SK is considered de facto abolished. Based upon that, I simply do not believe that Season 3 has crossed that line. But, as I often say, I COULD be wrong.

I don't feel satisfied in knowing 2 of the baddies were killed off. :( It feels gross the men were willingly going…
What I don't understand is HOW did Jang Nara character get so rich that she could create a false "entertainment" company that never/ever/???? was caught previously?? It was an interesting plot arc, but there was no logic/rationale overall. Regardless, I enjoyed it thoroughly as a commentary on the very sad environment for K-pop. Exaggerated, but not completely false.
On Taxi Driver Season 3 Dec 21, 2025
I enjoyed Ep 9/10. Jang Nara was amazing. Very little violence (compared to Eps 1-8). No innocent victims in Ep. 9/10 died or suffered more than a harsh slap? And yet "villains" (slaps/prostitution) died??? At the hands of Do-gi?? This simply Does. Not. Compute.

After TWO seasons where victims were revenged, but villains were not killed by Do-gi/Rainbow Taxi crew, Season 3 simply does not make rational sense if all/most of the villains perished. If the writer flipped the script, so to speak, then my current 10⭐rating will go down. Way down. 😒

I truly hope that they are playing games with the viewer. No confirmed deaths, thus far [Edit: Jang Nara character seems definite). Crossing fingers 🫰that there is more to be revealed.

Episodes 11-14 (villain is Kim Sung-kyu) look amazing in the brief glimpses from the Highlight video and Ep. 11 preview.
