"Trigger warning" for all pet lovers next arc which is set in a mysterious isolated island "Samheung…
Here's a bit more info on the next story arc according to Namu Wiki (which analyzed (i) the Highlight trailer, (ii) Ep. 11 preview and (iii) recent YouTube video amongst three of the actors),

Episodes 11 -14 Samheung Dopa organization - involved in second-hand trading fraud (see Ep. 11 victim). There are five villains featured:

Go jak-ja (Actor Kum Sung-kyu) – the main villain of the Samheung Dopa story arc, but doesn’t appear until Ep. 13. Former journalist (perhaps focused on investigating crime?)
Seo Huang (Actor Lee Kyung-young) – a pseudo (fake) religious leader/pastor
Choi Cheol-woong (Actor Yu Ji-wang) – former special forces; (mercenary? )
Yerim (Actress Lee Chae-won) – former gambling company programmer (possibly skilled in hacking?)
___________ (Actor Ji Dae Han) - corrupt police officer

BTW, the YouTube video has been removed (probably too many spoilers), but I watched it several weeks ago when it was first posted.

I enjoyed Ep. 9/10, but for me the best part was the scene when Kim Do-gi drove across the Banpo Bridge. It's a double-decker bridge over the Han River where water jets shoot out from both sides in colorful patterns. We saw it a year ago from the shore. Next visit - I want to drive or walk across it when the water/light show is performing.

Is it just me or did the punishments for the bad guys for the idol group story got really brutal? It might be…
Not just you. Lee Je-hoon said that Season 3 would be "darker", but I thought he meant in terms of the villains/violence - not the Rainbow team itself because after all, Rainbow CEO in Season 1 was VERY dark. What I noticed? Two confirmed deaths (the two losers in the Volleyball case) were announced dead on television. But no other person has been confirmed - the Nobless Motors team no rthe gambler (Eum Moon-suk). My Spidey sense (which is wrong at least 50% of the time, lol) says that we will find out that all are alive and justice has truly been served behind bars or on death row.

Yikes - I just checked. Although the death penalty is legal in South Korea, no executions have taken place since 1997 and the death penalty in SK is considered de facto abolished. Based upon that, I simply do not believe that Season 3 has crossed that line. But, as I often say, I COULD be wrong.

Title Taxi Driver Season 3 Spoiler
I don't feel satisfied in knowing 2 of the baddies were killed off. :( It feels gross the men were willingly going…
What I don't understand is HOW did Jang Nara character get so rich that she could create a false "entertainment" company that never/ever/???? was caught previously?? It was an interesting plot arc, but there was no logic/rationale overall. Regardless, I enjoyed it thoroughly as a commentary on the very sad environment for K-pop. Exaggerated, but not completely false.
On Taxi Driver Season 3 Dec 21, 2025
I enjoyed Ep 9/10. Jang Nara was amazing. Very little violence (compared to Eps 1-8). No innocent victims in Ep. 9/10 died or suffered more than a harsh slap? And yet "villains" (slaps/prostitution) died??? At the hands of Do-gi?? This simply Does. Not. Compute.

After TWO seasons where victims were revenged, but villains were not killed by Do-gi/Rainbow Taxi crew, Season 3 simply does not make rational sense if all/most of the villains perished. If the writer flipped the script, so to speak, then my current 10⭐rating will go down. Way down. 😒

I truly hope that they are playing games with the viewer. No confirmed deaths, thus far [Edit: Jang Nara character seems definite). Crossing fingers 🫰that there is more to be revealed.

Episodes 11-14 (villain is Kim Sung-kyu) look amazing in the brief glimpses from the Highlight video and Ep. 11 preview.

I don't understand why Gi Ppeum inititally pushes the team to take the divorce case. It doesn't need to be a lawyer…
I have not watched yet (actually, haven't caught up since mid Ep. 4) but actually very little in this drama makes sense in terms of ACTUAL justice, let alone so-called "social" justice. As someone who once worked in the legal field (USA), it's been disappointing. But I like JKO, so will watch when I have time.

I don't like Choi Gyeong Gu and Park Jin Eon are reduced to a pair of dumb clowns in this season. They are aerospace…
I felt the teamwork was there in the first 4 episodes, but missing in 5-8. Very few scenes with the whole team together. And almost zero together in 9/10. I forgive some of that because 5/6 really focused on how CEO Jang entered into the vengeance-as-justice world.

Also, after promoting the potential couple Do-gi/Go-eun in Season 2 (and even a bit in Ep. 1/2 of this season), they are absolutely telling the viewer to forget it.
On Taxi Driver Season 3 Dec 20, 2025
I don't know if it was intentional or not, but I'm glad that the episodes for this holiday week are a bit more low-key (non-violent) than the past few weeks. Yes, I know - two innocent women were slapped, but that's low-key compared to the vicious beatings/murders (men and women) of innocent victims in Ep 1-8.

Thus far - Villainess Jang Nara hasn't been shown to be murderess (again, contra the prior villains) so I wonder how the "revenge"/justice will play out for her in Ep. 10??

Ratings holding steady (up a bit) for Friday episode:

In other words: We'll give the people a little hint of what they're wanting to hear, but there's no deep romantic…
I'm new to the Taxi Driver universe (6 months ago), but I've been looking at old SBS videos and they have absolutely been promoting the "potential" romantic coupling. Since this is the last/final season, I know that I will be disappointed if all of those affectionate for-you-only smiles and hugs (not to mention Go-eun's vague confession at the end of Season 2) don't lead to something more than "close friends".
On Taxi Driver Season 3 Dec 18, 2025
For those viewers wondering about possible Do-gi and Go-eun pairing, here's the answer from a recent promo video, lol.

QUESTION: Many fans are hoping to see a romance between DoGi and Go Eun. Can we expect a little spark between them this season?

PYO YE-JIN: Do Gi and Go Eun’s dynamic is a kind of chemistry you don’t really see in other dramas.

JE-HOON: “A relationship beyond family; They definitely have something deeper than family.

YE-JIN: There’s this strong bond and trust between them. They take such good care of each other, so you can feel that affection in Season 3 too.

My take-away - they didn't answer the question!

How dumb the 2FL runs to hospital to see son. 2ML drives her and bam we get nothing after that What happened..hows…
They delayed the drama one week to work on story continuity - the entire scene with the second leads seemed completely out of left field - I wonder if it was originally planned for later episodes because now the daytime hospital scene will be out of sequence to later evening scenes. Perhaps we will find out in a "flashback".

Taxi Driver 3 released its latest villain (in this case, villainess) poster featuring Jang Nara.

"In what marks her first-ever villain role, Jang Nara will play Kang Ju Ri, a former girl group member who is now the CEO of her own entertainment agency. Behind the facade of a successful businesswoman, Kang Ju Ri is secretly hiding a twisted and greedy inner self."

I'm still waiting for Go Eun to be kidnapped or hurt in some way by a bad guy, making Kim Do Gi realize (or come…
In a recent joint interview, when asked what his most memorable moment was in Season 3, Lee Je-hoon said that "someone" was ?drowning? and he had to jump in the water and do a deep dive/underwater scene. And Pyo Ye-jin said something like: "yes, underwater scene filming is scary." Might mean something?

OTOH, he already knows that she is the most important person in his life - the one he confides in, protects fiercely and trusts (this is from interviews).

They are co-workers. Romance is simply not gonna happen as long as there is a series - but this is likely the last season so. . . . . . .?

I'm glad they did episodes showing the genesis of Jang Seong Cheol's plan for "revenge" but 4 hours was too long for this particular story arc. Eum Moon Suk is a great actor, but very, very busy - perhaps they could only grab him for a limited time.

Pyo Ye-jin, Choi Gyeong Gu and Park Jin Eon were mere side-kicks with little screen time compared to the villains (and victims). Perhaps the writer felt that one of their "family" meals or other light-hearted scenes amongst the team would have detracted from the overall somber/heartbreaking story.

I'm looking forward to Episodes 9/10 with Jang Nara as the villain. Maybe Pyo Ye-jin will have a bigger role since the episodes deal with a girl's idol agency.

there are still 3 villains left, so it should be 3 more cases after this
Episodes 9-10: Villain is played by Jang Nara.

Episodes 11-14: As Cider Melon said, the Ep. 11-14 story is "Samheunddopa. Main villain is played by Kim Sung-kyu (SBS poster says he appears in Ep. 13-14)

Episodes 15-16: (Haegak) Main villain is played by Kim Jung-so.

hope this park min-ho arc doesn't carry on till the end of the drama. Expected a much bigger case than this for…
The Park min-ho story will end in Ep. 8. However, it's not clear that there is a "main villain" in Season 3.

Has Lee Kyung Young appeared in his cameo role yet, as of Ep 7? I want to know where I can skip seeing that mug.
It's not a brief cameo - Lee Kyung Young plays one of the villains in Episodes 11-14 as part of the "Samheung Dopa" organization.
