I don't think Jin Mu suspects Mu-deok right now - I think several episodes in the future he will remember and realize that his niece JBY is alive.

I've talked myself into believing JSM will be back and in a major way. But I think at the end of Season 1, there will be a cliffhanger regarding the outcome (life? death? soul shift?) for Naksu and Jin Bu-yeon.

Sorcery is possible with the ice stone - I think that's where Jin Mu and Shaman Choi get their "power". It's different from mage power which is based on "energy". Or, that's how I have viewed it.

The ice stone doesn't melt. It turns into fire, then stone, and then water and back to stone. Out of that process comes the Soul Ejector (powder)

So, I wonder if one drinks the ice stone when it is in the WATER stage, that's how it gets into a body?
Not sure how it gets pulled out of a body and back to its original form.

One of the frustrating things about AoS is that they have a cliff-hanger (like today's episode) and then in the NEXT episode we get a lot of back story as to how the characters reached this point. If you watch the Episode "13" preview (which is actually a combination of 13 and 14) there is quite a bit of backstory that we have not yet seen.

There was a commenter here a few weeks ago (they haven't commented recently), but they observed this show is broken down into 4-episode mini story arcs. If they are right, this is the type of reveal that might occur in Ep. 16 (or bridge over to 17).

Yul is one of the Main Leads. He is not going anywhere and he will be a hero when the final Battle of the Mages occurs.

The Number 1 item in that unauthorized release that infuriated JSM fans (like me - the only reason I even bothered to watch in the first place) was that Go Yoon Jung was identified as THE Female Lead in Season 2 and everyone else was returning except JSM. It wasn't an official announcement, but the implications/possibilities were mind-boggling for many fans.

I believe Yul MASTERED Chisu. Jang Uk isn't at that level. On the other hand, Jang Uk knows Tansu. So, he's got that going for him.😊

It certainly LOOKED like her body - even had blood stains on it right where Park Jin's arrow hit her. The writers convinced everyone in Daeho and the audience (apparently) that it was her real body. The main reason I think there's a good chance she's on ice is that Jang Uk said: "The body was frozen here. . .your body must still be fine" Was it a meaningless throw-away line?

It wouldn't be the first time the audience believed that one thing happened, but it was fake or false. Jin Mu said he was going to burn it and he wanted everyone to see it. My guess is it was a fake body.

My point is that the ice stone is irrelevant. JBY is in her own body - it's not going to go wild. But noone else (on the show) knows why she will never petrify or go wild.

Her body was FROZEN when Gil-ju stole it. I believe Jin Mu has it on ice somewhere.

Naksu's "soul" is in Jin Bu-yeon's body. Jin Bu-yeon's SOUL is in Jin Bu-yeon's body. That why this body will never go wild.

At this point, the writers are saying to the audience: if you didn't figure it out before, we are telling you now -- Mu-deok is the lost Jin daughter.

Mama Jin doesn't expect her to have her power immediately - she thinks it will return quickly once she's back home.
