Earlier I re-watched some of the mirror scenes (Ep. 7) and I'm wondering what are those pieces of floating black "rock" inside the mirror w/Mu-deok. The mirror was created, together with many other artifacts located in Jinyowon, "with the power of the Ice Stone". Although the Ice Stone didn't melt, is it possible that it was broken up into smaller pieces? It is a stone, after all.
If there is one thing I've learned by watching and re-watching AoS, almost all scenes have a purpose and the purpose becomes clearer a few minutes later - or two weeks later. So, just what were those pieces of black rock???
People can be so opportunistic. Now that Jang Uk has won, everyone wants him and part of their school/family.
I thought they were all trying to save him from Jim Mu/Cheonbugwan - they all know that JU would not be safe there. they were making sure he had options/choices. Well, that's the way I read the room.
The real shock to me is that she is a SEO family member so I thought she would be proud of her ancestry.
Her name is Seo Ha-sun; she is Seo Yul's aunt. I suppose somewhere along the line, one of her Choi ancestors married into the Seo family and you have a good theory as to why she hates Songrim and it's founder Master Seo Gyeong.
So the real Mudeok helped Uk in Soul shifting realm? Why?? What just happened? Because she is Jin Bu Yeon? Uk…
My Answer (choose one or all): because Jang Uk and Bu-yeon are destined to be together; because they are soul mates; because it is written in the stars.
I want to know what her constellation plate shows.
I want naksu to get her powers back before mudeoki enters in frame. Cause we really don't know how the real mudeoki…
"Cause we really don't know how the real mudeoki is, what if she turns out like her sister?? " Or, one might ask - What if she turns out to be the heroine?
"How does she survive being a blind and weak girl?? " Because "Mu-deok" is a great soul dwelling inside that "blind and weak" body.
If you see someone other than Jin Moo is actually manufacturing more soul ejectors so there is probably someone…
I posted my theory on the Wild Theory discussion board a bit ago - but it's my bedtime so I can get up uber early in the am to watch. My theory: General Seo.
If she is the eldest sister, why didn't they recognize her? Unless she went missing as a child, but they could…
I posted this earlier today and had to do a search (lesson: when I write out a theory/rational, SAVE iIT). Anyway, here goes:
I've been thinking that there are several reasons why Mother Jin doesn't recognize her.
1. She's never been up close to her - she's only seen her from a distance. 2. Today, Mom was up close when JU carried her out of the vault/cave, but her head was turned away from Mom - Mom didn't have a clear line of sight. that must be intentional by the writers. 3. If Jin Bu-yeol was blind (and that appears to be the case), then as a young girl her eyes were probably covered, like in today's episode. BUT Mom never saw the blind-folded Mu-deok - only the four young men and Kim Do-joo saw her with the blindfold.
The big reveal to me today was that Mu-deok/Jin Bu-yeol ("the blind girl is back") WAS blind. The artifacts in the vault recognized Jin Bu-yeol's soul.
And Mu-deok's "surge of power" was from Bu-yeol, not Naksu. iMHO, of course.
But I don't understand the Ice Stone/dark magic part at all. Need to go back and rewatch that again.
I know they are not the center of the show but could we please ship Park Jin and maidservant Kim? I love these…
I'm so glad the show is willing to highlight an older couple "love story". They are so mature; so affectionate; so loyal. Jang Uk and Mu-deok could take a lesson or two from the older couple.
Hon they are one of the three major couples in the promos! Naksu is a murdering assassin, but she has evolved.…
"MD is not dead yet"? YET??? LOL, but I absolutely believe that we will eventually see the real JBY/Mu-deok - and not just in retrospective back-story.
After Ep. 7, I think she might be the Great Soul that Teacher Lee saw. I cannot get to the "MD is the Ice Stone" premise that everyone is so confident about. The dialogue was ambiguous, the "black stones" were in the mirror - a mirror "made with the power of the Ice Stone." It was Blind JBY - with extra sensitive ears - that recognized Yul and Park-Dang-gu. Was it Naksu or Mu-deok/JBY that knew instantly that Jang Uk was standing beside her.
I fully admit that my entire premise for this show is that Jang Uk and JBY were destined from birth to be together. If I am wrong, I will admit it instantly. Instantly. It's a promise.
This technicalities "Mu Deok" vs "Nak Su" He has never called her Nak Su, but Mu Deoki not even in private does…
The Real Triangle is Naksu, Mu-deok(Jbl) and Jang Uk Mu-deok( or, if you prefer, Naksu) has changed dramatically within the span of a few weeks, Daeho time. I ask - WHY?? I have my preferred answer. And it doesn't involve Naksu the murdering assassin who thought NOTHING of killing Mu-deok's soul with NO remorse. As I said several days ago, I can live with the Naksu/Mu-deok soul combination/meld/whatever - but it's a compromise. A compromise that I will accept if I must because if there is one thing this show is built upon, it is the incredible chemistry between Lee Jae Wook and Jung So Min. The script, reinforces, the cinematography, the OST,s reinforces that chemistry but it only goes so far. The chemistry cannot be "manufactured" - it is the stuff of an incredible Director and two unbelievably talented actors.

Agree. No remorse for killing Mu-deok - and as far as she knows, she DID kill Mu-deok. I understand the need, by just about everyone apparently, to redeem Naksu but I'm not there yet because Mu-deok's soul still exists.

Edited to add: they played special original music as well. π

Here is my favorite - I watch over and over again, every day. Can't wait until they do an update.
