What did the Queens family do to Eun Seong that he is bound to destroy them 😀😭
we don't know yet, but my theory (which I need to write up in more detail) is that after he killed the dog, they took away his Queen scholarship - and may have been the catalyst for adopting him out to the United States - where his adoptive family very conveniently died right before he graduated from University.

Eun Seong (Park Sung Woong) is like a little flying cockroach. No matter how you step on it, it still flutters…
It's pretty clear that Eun Seong doesn't care about Hai In. He wants revenge on Queens. everything makes sense if you look at it from that perspective.

I've been wondering if he pursued her at University because she was part of the Queen dynasty.

I think I need to FF through all the 2 ML scenes….
If you don't watch his scenes, you don't understand his motivation.

QoT timelineFirst Meeting as co-workers : 2018Dating : 2018-2020BaekHong Marriage : May 2020Hae In miscarriage…
lol, I drafted something up yesterday that is similar (a bit more detail):

FIVE years ago (Christmas/holiday): Hae-in returned to Korea and first meets Hyun-woo
FOUR years ago (Spring): Hyun-woo took Hae-in to his home town for the first time.
THREE years ago: May 2nd, Hyun-woo and Hae-in get married
TWO years ago (late winter) – they are expecting their first child with October 31 due date.
ONE year ago – the big unknown but strong hints they were separated (β€œPeople gossiped about how they were separated last year”)

Question - Why do you think the miscarriage was in April?

Title Queen of Tears Spoiler
Is the 2ML going to be a thorn in the ML’s side for the whole series? I’m not sure I want to deal with him…
You might want to prepare yourself for a temporary break-up well before the end. Hyun woo is an obstacle ("thorn") to Eun Seong's side and it has nothing to do with the romance. Given that premise, any break-up is better to come earlier than later. and will be temporary.

Of one thing I am sure - Hae-in will never consider Eun Seong as a romantic partner. 😊

I wonder who is the most online person in this comment section? I think it might be easier to catch everyone'…
In my experience, the best way to discuss theories is to use the "discussion topic" forum section. https://kisskh.at/discussions/untitled-park-ji-eun-project?action=new_discussion

If someone has a specific theory, they can post it and others can chime in - either with counter arguments or additional details. Currently, I am thinking about the following:

1. Where does Eun Seong fit into the history and families of the past? Not just his mother, but what happened, if anything, in the USA?
2. What is the connection between "Queen Scholarships" and. . . . . ???
3. Who does Advisor Grace take orders from? (that one is probably easy)

Using the "topic" section helps to manage the discussion for those who are interested and replies won't get lost in the very active main board.

I reaaaallly want to like it, but the family complott and the crazy 2nd lead are making it really hard for me.…
I love the family/corporate plot as a back-drop to the romance. It's TWO stories in one drama.

But - different strokes for different folks. Cheers, 😊

If you're Pacific Standard Time, like me, then it should be up by 8:00/8:30amish.
West Coaster here, but .we are now in Pacific Daylight time, 😊😊😊

During the days of Alchemy of Souls, I was the one who figured out the time zone conversion from KST drama end and the subsequent Netflix release time (which was never exact, but close tor predictable formula. ,I will make the extra effort tomorrow morning (7:00 am Pacific Coast) and see if I can figure it out for future reference. 😊

Why did their marriage go downhill?
We don't know the real reason. Speculation is that it was due to losing a child (miscarriage? still-birth? being told she couldn't carry a child in the future? died soon after birth?). We don't know, but according to recent interviews, the viewer will find out the answer in Episode 5 and I' glad they aren't prolonging this specific mystery. .

Okay, who is going to sign up as a Charter member of "Masochists United"? The first training session will be held…
Sorry Kevin, but I will be watching Queen of Tears (w/endless re-watch) every Saturday and Sunday mornings. 😊

I will probably read the Recaps and comments on Dramabeans (if they do it again) - if the story looks interesting (and I don't mean the romance because I'm confidant that weekender romances are not for me), I might jump in mid-way. Enjoy!

Title Live Your Own Life Spoiler
I plan to watch this drama, Kindly give me some spoilers regarding 1. When is the main couple officially together?…
The break-up/patch-up timeline is a BIG spoiler and it is rather meaningless. But here are the facts.

1. When is the main couple officially together? Ans: Around Episode 25
2. Any breakup for the main couple? If the breakup is there how long (like how many eps)? Yes for less than 1 episode
3. Breakup period any time skip is there for the main couple? one year (but all in one episode)
4. When does the main couple patch up again (like which ep)? this is the big spoiler: The breakup and the patch up are all in episode 51. A rather ridiculous ending, but that means that for 25 episodes they are nominally "together'.
5. 2ml or 2fl syndrome is there? Hard to say. The 2ML was my favorite character but I hated every moment he spent with the FL. He was never a real threat to the romance.
6. Any ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend annoying character is there? No
7. Is it happy or sad or an open ending? or rush ending? Answer: a very, rushed happy ending for the main couple; happy ending for almost all other characters.

This show is rather unique in that there were two main stories: the main couple romance and a corporate battle involving villains. (In most weekenders the villains are there to mess with the romance; this one was different).

It's been a a long time since I decided to get up early in the morning (my time) to watch a k-drama the moment it was released on Netflix. I know release time is usually a certain amount of time after the drama ends in Korea (10:50 pm KST). but I can't recall if it was 1/2 hour? 1 hour?

Every 1/2 hour of sleep is precious on a Saturday morning (my time). 😊

im pretty sure SML doesnt actually like haein that much, he just wants to sabotage queens group
A big reason hes trying to sabotage their marriage is because Hyun-woo is the one person smart enough to stop him from his revenge plot. Hyun-woo isnt greedy or a status seeker.

Title Nothing Uncovered Spoiler
If seeing dead bloodied bodies exceeds your quotient, you'd probably want to skip it
thank you. Dead bodies are OK provided the camera doesn't linger on particularly gruesome elements. I had to FF thru the surgery scenes in Dr. Slump, lol but that was pretty easy.

It's the lengthy scenes OF violence - the act of violence such as torture, or murders, that are unwatchable. For that reason, I had to skip Death's Game even though the cast included several of my favorite actors.
